Great Video Ron now I only Half to get a ImageWriter ll and a local talk card
we used to have an Image Writer II but sold it and upgraded to a Style Writer 2400.
both were pretty decent printers for their time :)
I’m not sure if i knew about the LocalTalk option at the time though.
Ach. This is how I somehow ruined my ImageWriter II, back around... 1990?
Installed the card. Dead. Removed the card. Still dead. Wish I knew what I did wrong. Gave up too soon. Wasn't a great day.
It was great to hear the sound of that machine again. I printed my first paid freelance illustration work on it. Travel itinerary maps done in Illustrator, sized up 4x so the print shop could reduce it to 25% for decent resolution.
Love the shirt...I haven't seen any live streams yet, like last year. Or is someone else hosting them this time?
We had an event launch video a week or two back… and I know several folks have done streams and tagged the event.

@@RonsCompVids "The seller will not ship to Germany". Or "Shipping cost: $93.17". Plus customs and hassle. Or Borderlinx, which isn’t much cheaper.
Availability in the US isn’t necessarily global :-)
I just ordered one so we'll see how complicated it is.
