- Rishi Sunak is reportedly facing a revolt from his party over plans to criminalise homelessness.
Under the prime minister's flagship crime bill, police would be given the power to fine or move on so-called "nuisance" rough sleepers.

Tbh, I was a rough sleeper and if I would end up in jail because of it (especially considering the reason why the whole situation did happen), I would either kill myself in jail or burned myself down by the Parliament after the release…

There is homeless and then there are beggars. But then illegals are prioritised over brits. But none of this report focuses on root causes. Government is not the problem here. During the pandemic I watched what happened when housing was given to some of the homeless, they wrecked the place but were grateful they had somewhere dry to use their freshly, donated by the council, needles.

The defining term here is "nuisance". I'm a homeless beggar, i have to beg or i'll starve but im polite( i think!) and always tidy my rubbish up when ive done. More should be done to help people like me, not criminalising us! If i get fined for 'smelling' im just going to beg more to pay it off.
