Must just be you guys, 'cuz I didn't feel that. There was certainly something magical and other wordly, but I wouldn't call it "dark" or "spooky". But I also think it depends where you are in the city, and the weather probably also didn't help

I was just there, and as someone who doesn't like driving, Venice seemed perfect for me. But spending the night there allowed me to experience a side of the city tourists don't usually see. The city is actually quite large. Even bicycles are illegal and the water busses are expensive, and there's so much walking you can do. And there's also rent and other costs of living you need to consider. When you visit it seems like a place you could settle down forever, but once you delve deeper, you'll discover life in Venice is not easy at all. There's a reason many experts believe it will become a ghost town by 2030.
I personally didn't find anything spooky about it, and it seems liked one of those places that ALWAYS looks beautiful. I think you're right though it may have to with the city's history though. Venice is marketed as this beautiful and romantic city, and it IS, but if you do some homework you will discover that the city actually has a very dark history. But how you edit your videos, also determines what vibe it gives off. But I will say, no matter how high tech your equipment is, it will never look as beautiful as in real life. I think one thing we can ALL agree on though, is it's truly one of a kind, and no other city like this will ever be built again.

I stopped there once, when I was on my way with my oldest sister and my Mom, to Fanna Udine where my Mom was from. We had a wait of around 2 hours, so my sister and me walked around a little bit and found the butcher in this little alley where we bought some rolls and Mortadella, it was delicious. Sophie, I loved your scarf where did you buy it, you have aink for it?

Venezia è unica puoi girare diversi generi di film , dal romantico allo storico , avventura , thriller ed Horror...solo qui lo puoi fare.
Il clima di Venezia è diverso da quello di Firenze. È peggio in autunno ed inverno , per ovvie ragioni. Veneto in Nord Est, Firenze centro Ovest Italia , più caldo e meno umido. Se hai i reumatismi , sono cavoli tuoi se vieni a vivere nel nord nord est Italia.
come diciamo noi italiani: " Bella Venezia ma non ci vivrei":-)

Specialmente se soffri di patologie reumatiche. Nel Nord Est il clima in inverno se va bene è questo.. prendere o lasciare.
