While the Sassanid Empire fell, it actually survived for a long time as a political entity. The royal house of Karin held a stronghold in Mazandaran up until the 11-12th century but disappeared after the Mongol invasions.
*The ending of every Sassanid Empire map video* "Hello Darkness, my old friend." Good choice of music btw; the only thing is, there appears to be an error with the transition from the 1st to the 2nd track.
17:37 from here, the map becomes more fake , lakhamids didn’t take all of that lands , nejd was free nobody was rule them as king or emperor , also persian empire didn’t take all of modern day oman and yemen which is fake map
Thank you for your detailed feedback. I appreciate your interest in historical accuracy, and I’d like to address your points with some clarification; While the Lakhmids were primarily centered around Al-Hira and parts of modern-day Iraq historical sources indicate they exerted influence over parts of the Arabian Peninsula especially in the northwest and central regions. You’re correct that Najd was largely independent and not ruled by a central authority during much of this period. However various tribal confederations existed and at times they acknowledged nominal allegiance to larger powers like the Lakhmids or the Sassanians. The Sassanian occupation of Yemen is well documented during the reign of Khosrow II especially their intervention against the Abyssinians in 6th century. Oman had longstanding trade and cultural connections with Persia and occasional Persian governors were established in the region. The map in the video aims to provide a broad visualization of historical trends rather than absolute territorial boundaries. This map simplify complex realities to make them more accessible to a general audience but I value your observation. Thank you again for engaging so thoughtfully with the content. Historical accuracy is a priority for me, and I’m always open to constructive dialogue.
Great video. The Sassanid Empire was truly one of Iran's greatest. Their wars with Rome were nothing short of legendary. Love from Greece.

Amazing video!

The Bavand dynasty lasted until 1349, and the Baduspanids until 1598.
I am absolutely ready for my 8th (or 9th?) Sassanid Empire map video.
Amazing please do also about the Achaemenid Empire
Work of art

This map makes it clear that the Sassanids almost managed to establish control over all of Arabia in order to prevent the emergence of Islam
No one can establish control over all of Arabia back then, not even the Arabs.
cool👍
