A few days ago we received some EDIBLE INSECTS in our PO box.. so we decided to film our live reaction in this video (thanks for sending them 🤗.)

I ate once fries and it tasted like fertilizer (probably because there was some horse poop since it was brown inside) .

I had tried grasshoppers “Chapulin” that was intended for rimming liquor glasses (mixed with salt). I know in Mexico that it’s popular. My mom said her dad (my abuelo ) made tacos 🌮 from them once.
@@RadiantYT2K That’s just some Eurocentric misinformation, Bugs are no more hazardous than eating beef or chicken or pork. Escargot is oftentimes dirtier than eating crickets as you have to purge them before you can even eat them.

There used to be a lot more people selling those around in my area
They come in like mobile stall thingy
kinda like an ice cream truck but motorcycle or something idk it was a long time ago
I didn't forget the taste though it was great after I overcame my disgust
it also had an unexpectedly nice and crispy texture
There seems to be none of these local sellers around anymore sadly
I think my favorite part is the phone falling every time you hit the table xD
You can do taxidermy and conserve the insects for the Lionfield's museum in the future 🐛
P.S. if you ever go to Mexico try the crickets with chili and lemon 😋

Have them with something on the sideeee. Alone it's like trying tomatoes with out oilve oil/salt/etc. It takes time to get used too but they are healthy and worth tasting/consuming. I had them at a local market in Chiapas México. Seeing the locals use them in their food while telling the stories of where they came made the insects worth given a try.
