    Oh my goodness. I just had that same carpet installed in my home yesterday. They actually overmeasured by almost a complete room. But I do have some smaller pieces that I want to turn into small rugs for our dog.
    Thank you for making this video!

    Best hack I've seen in years. Only works on nylon pile with rubber/nylon backing. Well done.

    Not a bad idea actually. Especially for just a door mat. Latex is the way to go, Elmer’s glue would prolly work as well. But this is fil ingenuity at its finest. Salamat sa share po.

    I just moved into an apartment two weeks ago and I just noticed that my recliner is scratching up the wood floor, so I need to get carpeting underneath it to stop any more damage

    I'm going to do this and use kitchen drawer grip roll from dollar store to back it

    That needs some carpet edging binding, to look professional and help it last longer. It doesn’t look very neat otherwise.

    What if the carpet is very light? Won't this show a burnt edge on the carpet side?

    • @pinoyhandymanofalltrades
      @pinoyhandymanofalltrades  3 года назад +3

      Hi thanks for stopping by I don’t think it will show just adjust the torch in normal and move your torch back and fort but if you let stay in one position it will burn.

    The cheap way of doing it I personally think this is unprofessional and looks tacky I’ve done it when I was broke and on benefits I wanted a more professional way to do it. Thanks for the content though.
