When it's really hot out I'll take a chair and set it in water about 2.5 ft deep and sit in it and fish. I also have one of those umbrella hats to block the sun. And of course a cooler full of bottled water is just as essential as your fishin pole.
When I was a kid my dad would take me and my family fishing for a vacation. We would go for 2 weeks. it was a 16 hour ride. Soon I got there I would go to the dock and fish right away. My dad has dementia and no longer knows who nobody is. It's hard seeing him like that. I miss my dad.
Don't slip on those slimy rocks. I fished on a boat ramp that had rocks along it in salt water. That morning the trout schooled up on those rocks and I outfished a fishing guide. LOL

Tenkiller is a really good lake, Bill. Seems to me, it’s not quite as good as it was. I’d sure like to see them remove that antiquated slot limit and put in a minimum length limit. The slot limit had hurt Tenkiller quite a bit, but our department doesn’t make a change very often. Thanks so much. May God Bless. jimmy

I live in Bonham Tx to be close to the VA Hosp but Im gonna try lake ten killer off the bank to catch me a 10 pounder.
