I am forever mad that female Shepard continued to have better scenes than male Shepard in Mass Effect 3. Why couldn't Shepard climb into his lap, goddammit? Give bottom Shep his rights 😂😂

@@matthewanthony4606 it’s actually not fair to any lgbtq+ ppl, but especially to queer men. Sapphics actually have 4 sapphic love interests in mass effect. MShepard has only two options and Kaiden isn’t romancesble in first three games while women can. So like… just please reassess your definition of fair.
@@ALtheuncommonicedragon8360 No kidding. And there are many could have been awesome things that BroShep missed out in Kaidan romance because he couldn't romance him in the first game. One of them is that love confession in ME3. So BroShep missed that better, longer kiss and missed out sitting on Kaidan's lap. Sigh

Kaidan Alenko/Male Shepard romance is the best of m4m romance in media history. Not over dramatic and grounded in living in the moment for someone to love. Yes, a man can hold, protect, and honor another man he loves. It is being human not gay.
This was the best ending and the best romance. They were really in love.
Great thing about them is they took ME1 - ME2 times to confess their love later on ME3. It means they're not just hey let's bang and go on to the mission.
If people pay closely attention to Kaidan - Shepard's conversation since ME1. Kaidan fell in love with commander Shepard already.

What I liked about it is that it showed two men who weren't emasculated. They were gay, yeah. But give them a gun and they'd shoot your ass if you get stupid with them. And Anderson knew and didn't care. That is how it's supposed to be in the real world.
Played remastered recently and it was my first experience of the games. Was happy to find out that you could romance Kaidan in ME3 as there seemed to be things left unsaid after playing through 1. Glad they somewhat one-eighted Kaiden and made him more dynamic. Only character that seems to want Shepard regardless of gender right….it’s sweet.

A year late but you should run this mod with the citadel DLC and watch how Shepard sashays down the red carpet. They kept the female body models walk. It’s hilarious.

No matter how many times I've played this game, and it's been more than a few, I'm blown away by the superb writing. The epic Shepard/Alenko romance notwithstanding, the entire story is just brilliantly written.

@@AMETHYST21897 mine, too! Although, I really enjoy playing a female Shepard and romancing Liara. That romance is ALSO amazing. And I've done the entire trilogy with the focus of romancing 1 person (usually my male Shep with Alenko) many times!

I'm not gay but I think they should of put that in the original for some reason it seems to fit if you want a m/m or f/f playthrough gives you more options for new playthroughs
Romancing Kaiden later on in mass effect 3 is in the original unmodded game, this is just adding dialogue from male shep as if he’s talking to Ashley and dialogue from Kaiden as if he’s talking to femshep

Probably because the only arm-in-arm walk they had was for femshep. In the base game, they don't lock arms :(

I attempted to watch another modded version. Instead of saving kaidan, they saved ashley. I couldn"t finish it. It tore at my gut. Kaidan will be saved in all my playthroughs. They should have figured out how to save both or had only one of them to start with.

Great video, my some may have slipped and skipped it but I think missing one of my favourite bits though in even the unmodified version of the Romance it's the bit when you're reviewing the video logs about Shepherd's Resurrection in the cerberus station and if you make shepherd the doubt whether he's the real Shepherd your romantic partner whoever they are will say something really touching and version I think Ks is amazing

Although male Shepard doesn't have a first name, Mass Effect Wiki says his name can be John. Good choice for such a stoic soldier. :)
Shepard has a first name. It's John, and femshep is Jane. They just never say it out loud because it's a player choice.

the mods just add new dialogue and interactions between them, plus the happy ending mod. they say what mods they were using in the desc

This is why I'm waiting with playing the LE MShenko. This are just fenomenal mods :)
I'm using however an another MEHEM, the JohnP's Alternate MEHEM. With it there is the scene where the crew is looking for Shepard, and the LI, (for me always Kaidan) is the last one to "find" him. The BEST.
I'll miss this mods, and hope, that they be available later on for LE, as the scripts are basically there :)
Until then, LE is for Jane and Garrus.
