@@malekosama8000 Since I've already been editing for nearly 25 years using several pro apps, it was a pretty easy jump! I did watch some videos and messed with it a lot. But editing skills in one app translate to other apps. Once you get good at a pro app, learing others is pretty easy.

Great video, I currently use Davinci Resolve which I love. But I thought Capcut looked promising. Simple and easy to understand. I am using windows pc and have downloaded it. But see no possibility to upgrade to the pro version. Can you guide me on the right path. How do I do that. New subscriber from Norway.
Unfortunately, the pro version is not available in all countries. Some have had luck starting over completely and using a VPN, but that is very hit and miss.

I am new to CapCut and plan to only edit on an IPad Pro M4. Is there a way to see the audio wave form so it’s easy to cut out the long silence like on other editing apps? Like luma fusion. I edit in Swedish so I don’t think transcription will work for me.
On CapCut Mobile, select the clip in the timeline and from the options that appear below choose "Extract Audio". As far as the Swedish, I dont' see that as an option for me on my mobile version in the USA. Options vary by country, but I'm guessing Swedish hasn't bee added yet. Hopefully it will be added soon!

Or make them smile or be sad. Can cap cut do that or would that be something day affinity could do it a different program? Thank you🙏
You CAN do it in CapCut but you'd need photoshop or something like it to cut up the image PLUS it would be a big pain. Much easier in After Effects or other apps made for that. For a one off, or something simple, yes, no big deal. An entire video? Life is too short to spend that much time on it!

Good stuff. I’m just starting to get hooked. Long time avid then premiere editor. I do have one question though. Is there a way to do a good old-fashioned Insert edit? I’ve been searching everywhere and I think the term is become obsolete. I’m old . :)
Haha! You must be close to my age! I want Final Cut Pro (original) > Avid ) Premiere Pro. You can do an insert edit with the track magnet on (letter P turns is off and on). Grap a clip from the Device tab and drag the front of the clip to the edit point and it will insert it, and slide everything over like you're used to. HOWEVER, this will only really work if you have only ONE track of video/audio. If not, everything will get shoved out of sync. There's kind of a work around, but a pain an not worth it. Have fun with it Dave!
The desktop version is more robust, has more features, and in my opinion, is much easier to use. I always prefer the desktop version of any app over an online version. Online versions are dependent on your Internet speed, and just don’t feel as responsive as a desktop version which you download to your computer. However, the online version makes the ap accessible to more people. For example, if they don’t have a computer and only have something like an iPad or Chromebook.

I often use CapCut for smartphone willingly, but it leaves me a bit perplexed. I upload clips that are 100 MB (for example) uploading in 4k and exporting also in 4k, and when I export them after applying all effects, transitions, etc., the final file weighs less. How is this possible? Does CapCut reduce the final quality? Anyway, great video!!! Greetings from Italy 🇮🇹 !!

click on the text in the timeline, click on captions in the top right window, and hit return anywhere you want a caption to end. you can make each capition 1 word or a whole sentence. To POSITION the captions so they're not all in the same space, select a caption in the timeline, then click "text" in the top right, and UNCHECK apply to all. Then go to each caption in the timeline and click and drag them wherever you want.

When you export, you can select 4k AND adjust the bit rate, which they call the code rate. Higher Mbps = more quality and a bigger file size.
