If it stops me having to wait 5 minutes for the game to apply a character change when I add someone new, then I'm very happy with this. Keep up the excellent work with the project, it's amazing.

@@whyismyimageunavailable2378 you need to mod your 2ds, and enable luma3ds game patching. (to use luma3ds, hold select when turning on the 3ds)

@@brado064 in 1.4,the update that added the mega mushroom ( the version right after the version 1.3.32) they added two new cups so its likely the update will come with new tracks

I love how this doesn't feel like a replacement of characters on the go but more like an actual character expansion, this is neat!

I am so glad this is coming to CTGP-7. It was honestly so annoying waiting for the game to reboot and apply patches everytime you wanted to switch alt characters

This is a BIG improvement. Like, I don't have to enter the options menu to change the characters (for example, from Mario to SM64 Mario or from Luigi to Mr. L.)
I remember 21 hours before this premiered and I knew the colors had to be Yoshi so I typed in chat: "What if it's where you can change character skins" What I meant by that was like a color wheel or something but I guess I was right!

Maybe if we get past the memory issues in a couple of years, we’ll be able to find something similar for kart pieces. It could happen. Never say never.

@@WaluigiFan-n6r you need to have a homebrewed 3DS and go to universal updater to download it
We need the various improvements and additions made to CGTP-7 for MK8 as well, especially since a lot of Tour things are easily compatible with it. Some creators are even figuring out how to make custom character animations just like with this one. It would be absolutely insane. (Not saying that I'm not excited for CGTP-7 though, I'm glad that MK7 is getting the recognition it deserves)

Hey there! So within the characters that you have been releasing for this mod, I figured most of them are 3ds characters (Arcade bunny, Eshop bag, etc.) so I was wondering if soon you could add me as a character! This would truly bring up the 3ds squad right?

@MegaMewtwo1 I guess that somewhat counts. Because the game automatically creates a voice for my mii anyway, but in terms of animated me, I don’t really have a voice, but I don’t think it matters anyway. But still with the other 3ds characters in the mod, it would only make since to add me right?

What an awesome feature! I wish Mario Kart 8 Deluxe modding had a similar extra-character slot to allow for use of any character skin on the fly! There are so many great character skins that it can be hard to pick only one per character.
Not sure if it's the best place to ask, but will there ever be a native widescreen option in CTGP-7? Trying to use a widescreen code in Citra (this one to be exact: 003DBE28 3fe38e39 (USA 1.2)) causes a black screen when launching the game.

Dude I love ctgp on all 4 platforms nitro, revolution, 7, and zeta (it’s pretty chopped though since it was left untouched for a while) but keep going cause this is amazing 😳

Quick question. Do you plan on adding and/or replacing CTs in the future? I know there's not too many extra out there to choose from, but if better ones come out it might be wise to remove some of the outdated tracks. It happened with Shower Circuit and GBA Cheese Land when the pack got more advanced and I'm just wondering if it's still an option.

all existing custom characters will need to be updated to support the new format that allows scrolling.
ahh now i see this was a major improvement btw. and i LOVE the fact that the skin for the character will be in the same race as the original player very creative!@@PabloMK7

I just dumped all the files needed to play this online with Download Play on Citra. Is there any discord where I can play online with other Citra users using Download play ingame?
