Zen Of USMLE i do have a question, about how many hours are you putting in every single day for your preparation, could you do a kind of how do you plan your day and how much time are putting in every single day. How do you prevent over exhaustion and how you take breaks.
Hello everyone, what this guy said have so much sense, do not fight with sense and logical approach. Do what this guy is saying, its true, random and without second pass, doing other qbank before
Hi Manik can you please share your timetable, how did you study for usmle using these resources, how did you approach the learning, how did you cover up the syllabus?
Thank u Manik. Your previous advice helped me. I scored 247 in my step 1 a month back. Thanks again and keep good work of yours. P.S- Make some educational videos on step 2CK.\
Thank you so much for this video! I am halfway through UWorld already (first-pass). My exam is in 5 weeks. Do you recommend I stop UWorld and start on a diff qbank and then go back to UWorld? Or at this point, should I complete UWorld, and then start on Rx/Amboss? As I only have time for one additional qbank, which one would you recommend out of Rx or Amboss? Thanks! :)
hi i am a big fan of you! your real example of how to do elimination in real questions is genius! could you make more examples regarding elimination and test strategies?
hey hi Manik bro, tell me one thing, when did u started ur step 1 prep and when did u take ur step 1 exam ,i mean before or after ur mbbs graduation???
What do you think these flash cards should contain? Should it just contain the answer it self about the diagnosis or should we just focus on making flash cards for the educational objectives?
This is amazing. I wanted to know a thing, did you complete your one round of learning before starting with the UWorld? Since you got only few questions incorrect in UWorld. When I do it there are a lot of stuff that I don’t know about so I just want to know if the maximum stuff is from the learning.
If you are doing timed questions how does it take 4 to 6 hours to complete one block of 40 questions? Shouldn't a timed block only take an hour? I feel like no matter how much I review it doesn't stick!
Do we have to study whole FA first and then start doing UW random plus timed mode? Since its impossible to get this much right answers on random mode without studying FA once/twice
I mean if you have that much correct% then you shouldn't go for the second pass but other than that I would say that anyone who scores below 85% correct in their 1st pass of uworld, they should definetely go for the second. You can give a break and just review FA, pathoma etc between the 2 passes of Uworld.
Nice video. Your scores on UW aren't average either as I don't know many in that score range. Respect to you. All the resources you mentioned are good too. I have constant anxiety which effects my percentages. I rewriting step 1 and it's depressing but I've overcome my failure. I am on a second pass of UW. Maybe USMLERx?

Hi! Very informative video! Thank you so much! Did you do Kaplan live or online prep course for step 1? And do you think reading the 7 Kaplan lecture notes is enough without doing the prep course, and then after that go through a solid review of FA and Pathoma. Thanks 🙏🏼.
i woudnt just do kaplan notes as a lot of info is not that important. I would definetely recommend the lectures, i did the kaplan course, so this comes from my own experience. after that fa and pathoma and bnb
Zen Of USMLE Ok thanks. Would you strongly recommend Kaplan course? If so, live or online? I can’t do any live courses right now due to the pandemic and other circumstances and I don’t know if the online course is worth doing, but I’d rather not if the lecture notes are sufficient with FA, Pathoma, and B&B, and the three q-banks, Kaplan, USMLE-RX, and U-WORLD, plus the NBMEs. This is what I am planning. Thank you for your advice.

Can you make a video about effective question interpretation on UW? That would be really helpful
i already have a whole course dedicated to it
brother can u upload a video about mbbs in usa after 12th in india and about Harvard university
Do you agree that Uworld and NBME are taking different a approach recently. I have noticed they are not that easy anymore then they were in the past. I mean to say to they know how student’s are thinking so they are changing their patterns of recognitions. It might be different when you did the Uworld versus now. I see some changes though. Idk about others. I might be wrong.
That can happen however if you strong concepts you can still choose the right answer. It's very easy

Is FA & Pathoma enough for USMLE ? Because i do watch board’s and beyond but that guy has extra stuff that is not in the FA.
Hello bro ur video is so informative ..
My question is since we are in pandemic.. I'm on my final year of med school... I had a plan of doing out of 12 month rotation last 4 month of my rotation in us . But because of pandemic.. I may not be able to do it ... so i may not have letter of recommendation.. from us clinical experience so would it affect my application during residency match ?
hmm. it might as lor is becoming more and more Important
When you had your step1?
thanks for sharing, this is the ultimate guide.
Hello Manik! I know towards the end you tried to explain in what scenario the incorrect answer would be right while doing u world? Did you do this intense process for qbanks you used for learning or was it just u world?
For me I find it very difficult and time consuming since I am seeing certain diesese for the first time. I take step in 11months.
I did it for every qbank
Pls give me the link of b&b video and sketchy
Pls 🙏🙏🙏🙏
SIR PLEASE TELL WHICH PHISIOLOGY TEXTBOOK DID U USE FOR UR BASICS AND CONCEPTS
I used a book called Essentials-Medical-Physiology-B-S-Mahapatra
I’m currently doing amboss. Haven’t started Uworld yet. How important is reviewing all options in amboss. The one/two hammer questions straight ways give the answer. So is it worth spending a lot of time on reviewing them?
its all on you. whatever suits you should go with that i think
Can I give step 1 in 3 year and step2 ck in internship.
Please reply
yes
love u doc! thanks for this
SIR PLEASE TELL IS GUYTON SUFFICIENT FOR ALL USMLE PHISIOLOGY QUESTIONS 🙏
its way to big. just do a good review book and Physeo for physio
Is there a way to save Flash cards in Uworld for longer time ?
you can take photos of yours and make anki out of it. other wise you have to pay for extending subscription
If we want to do a qbank before UWorld, which would be the best and most time efficient one?
Usmlerx
Zen Of USMLE isn’t kaplan or ambose a better option? If so, which is better?
impressive bro.... the rule of 2 pass was really bothering me. m gonna follow as u said. thanks!!!
Don't tell me you'll go to IM with stellar scores. IV seen way too many imgs getting 260s and settling for IM. Aim for super competitive specialities because you deserve it!
He may well be interested in the subject more than anything else.
Pleaso do more videos about answering clinical vignette based exams! I know your channel is focused on the USMLE , but it would be cool if you made a more general video for us international students that want tips on taking on these types of exams but are not going to do the usmle , similar to “the usmle step 1pattern” section in your first video
Thanks!
Sure 👍
Sir how to make good flashcards for neet pg?
I completed 50% of uworld with a 76% correct percentage WITHOUT using previous qbanks.
What should I do?
exam is october 27th*
Do another qbank like usmelrx after this and revise uworld through flashcards
@@manikmadaan which qbank would you suggest? Rx, kaplan, anboss or?
@@TheMcMillan716 USMLErx is the best of of these
@@manikmadaan sorry for pressing, but why do you think rx is better than anboss? I read the opposite online
How to take notes from UWORLD? which points should we take?

@@manikmadaan Actually, I'm using Kaplan qbank now. How do you think Kaplan qbank is as compared to others?
After completing this I'm planning to use Uworld &Amboss.
