it has some inherent beauty in it, the song I mean. And some magic. Maybe it's the cello and the backing instruments. Maybe it's the voice. Maybe it doesn't even matter. What surely matters, though, is that we have now yet another gem from Mahagony. Thank you.
I remember when mahogany first uploaded this. Just spent about an hour scrolling through multiple playlists and uploads. Not shocked to find it in 'the best of mahogany: 2016. Damn right it is.

Ya I really love Mahogany, another great channel to check out is Sofar Sounds, they feature such great artists and are very underrated, they've actually featured some of the same artists as Mahogany (but with different songs of course)

I've got this on "permapeat" (which should be a word). That note interval in the vocal melody at 2:20 is particularly unexpected and beautiful.

Permapeat you need to patent that term now bc I it is a great description of when certain music won't let go of your heart and is as in love with you as are to it ❤
