Hello sweetie! I missed your vids! This is amazing, I love the upsetting music at the beginning and then it just gets more mad:) This was perfect! Sam and Dean are just getting more serious, and I think that's good in a way, and sort of bad...it's good as for the fact that a lot more is happening with the angels and everything, and it's bad as Dean had such a heavy sense of humor...and through the years, it's all gone. This is still perfect! Loved it:)

Aaaah so good to see you here - I'm glad you enjoyed this that much. I liked making this vid, both the idea and the scenes I had to work with, but I was kinda nervous about putting out such a visually simple vid because of all the grand SPN vids on YT. The show is shot so well that unless the effects are spectacular they actually take away from the intensity rather than add to it, so I stayed away. But everyone's always kind to me, so I get away with the simple stuff :) And now, one day to go...

Oh I hear ya. School pretty much had them programmed. The one started vidding and she wants to continue but right now sims and all the interactive sims type thing like imvu and a lot of others is what she is into. Shes 8. Everytime I come to respond here I keep watching and the song select is just amazing.
Wow, what a comment, Kinga! After you'd already seen the vid - that's really nice. I'm crazy about this track. I first heard it while selecting the music for one of Manish's cricket vids. Since then it was in my to-vid list. Then last week I heard it at random, and this idea came to me. I think now I can only vid whatever inspires me suddenly... not able to start 'planned vids' anymore! Like, I had no plan of making an SPN vid right now, I wanted to complete our Dealena, but this just happened.

I was worried that this might be considered 'too simple' given the kind of epic SPN vids available nowadays but I'm happy my friends think this is awesome :D

Of course, thanks again for the colouring. I now have four colours from you, which is quite the collection :D I'm happy that you think this vid is epic. I suppose with Sam and Dean, there is so much emotion and heroism that it's easy to make vids really appeal to the heart. That IS the charm that's made this show go on for 9 seasons without romance or any such drama. Their hopes, losses, feelings, loyalty, everything is exemplary. And Jensen and Jared have really brought the characters to life.
OMG this was phenonimal!! The music, the scenes, everythign was so epic and it made me think back on season 1 and how far this show has come. The Winchesters have been through hell and back, I do hope they get a happy ending when it's over :p This was stunning as usual and I enjoyed every momen of it, can't wait to see what you do next :p

Rah RAh XD. It helps when everyone elseare on their computers. One working the scene , one glued to netflix, one playing sims, and me vidding or watching I wouldn't be such a slow vidder if I would stop watching everyone else s inspirations. But there are so many I can't live without watching. Then collabs collabs take up a lot of time too. Helps when your an insomniac too. Some people read tons of books like what I use to do pre internet . This you can make them come to life love it .

And as usual, THANKS in CAPS. You're right, SPN has one of the best overall progressions in the history of shows. It's characters have grown, its storylines are derived from past events and how they affect Sam and Dean at present, it's matured in terms of complex storylines, and done all that without really have any love affairs or the dreaded brothers-love-triangle trap ever! I'm really enjoying the new season... it feels fresh after a long time. Will def be vidding them more this season :)))
I said you this before but I have to do it again: It's amazing video. You said it's just a bunch of scenes but no, is something much more. You chose this incredible track which I adore and used to my Dealena series once and still don't feel bored when I listening it. You also used phenomenal moments and voice overs and remind us how much Winchesters brothers have to sacrifice, what they lost and for what they fighting for. Dean killing Benny breaking me heart everytime when I see this sad scene.

Hahah this is too long for a promo but I'm thrilled you think so. The original plan was to make a short promo, and I did quite a bit of looking around to get footage of the new season, but then this Trials idea came into my head, so I chose a longer song to go in for a full-fledged video :) Now it's just another day to S9 ... I'm so excited for this season, I don't know why in particular :) I'm out of town and haven't seen the TVD S5 premiere yet so staying off TVD vids till I do :D

Aaaaaa love this comment! So good. I totally know what you mean, the 'heaviness' of the show. They've made Dean far more 'weighed down' than a young guy who has spent his ENTIRE LIFE hunting would be, even given the tragedies he's faced. He's grown up, yes, but they've changed his inherent lighthearted nature into the whole emo, depressive thing. Which is good for drama I guess but it wastes Jensen's natural charm to brighten the dreariest scenes with a quick smile here or a funny comment there.
Aha you have programmed the kids to do the fun stuff! I'm usually always at the PC too, but I gotta work for most of that time which sucks. I'm a really slow vidder, I see people churning out a vid a week or more and I'm like, wow. I'm also intimidated by the quality of the vids nowadays, almost professional stuff. And yup, collabs take up a lot of time. I've reduced my collabs just for that reason. I still (try to) read. I miss reading. But 'watching' is better, and 'making' is the best :D

I told Kinga while making this that it wasn't a complex video so I wasn't sure people would like it much because there are so many epic SPN vids and this didn't use any spectacular effects or heavy duty emotions. But I suppose with Sam and Dean you don't need special effects to really feel for them and with them. I'm excited about S9... I wonder what we'll do once the series ends! Anyway, thanks a lot for the vote of confidence :)

*blush* I don't know what to say, really :P Anyway, I'm also anxious for the new seasons, both for SPN vids and Dealena crossovers :D It'll be good to have new scenes to manip :P This will be an emo season, with Sam & Dean's secret etc, and I hope they don't take the human-Cas comedy tooooo far and make it crass. Also the Destiel stuff, they need to relax, not suggest it all the time. I'm also curious about the SPN spin-off - it's gonna be set in Chicago and have occasional visits by SPN cast.
Oh, I could never stop vidding SPN, I'd die of withdrawals I think :))) Though TBH this is my first such Sam/Dean showcase vid - and I only have 7 or 8 SPN vids of which 3 are about Cas - very weird if you consider that I'm not even very fond of him - well def not more than the boys! I swear my YT friends are too nice to me. The kind of comments I get for my videos... I'm so touched, really. By all this attention and affection. I'm always intimated to start SPN vids because there are so many grand SPN vids already, and I was afraid that this is too simple... but the music and the idea came together so well (and so suddenly, it was like a bulb going on) that I went ahead and did it anyway. Somehow, a vid with Sam & Dean is always intense, no matter what they're doing :)
(2) She's been unhappy about her work, so I was trying to cheer her up saying that no one's job is fun, not even our fave guys' :D Also, to get mails about uploads and such, you have to go to "Manage Subscriptions" in the left panel bottom of your channel page, and switch on the 'Email" option for the subs you want to be informed about. Mad planning, I know, but I found it out when I wasn't getting any emails :) Finally, watched Lightfields too... and Broadchurch - again! Can't.Get.Enough.
You are a good friend and you are right work can be so boring oh to be rich and able to do just what you want lol..... I know about "Manage Subscriptions" and all the people I want to receive emails about their videos are already ticked!! I don't get any emails from youtube about comments or pms etc....I don't know what to do I have looked on forums and other people seem to have problems but they don't give solutions. It's such a pain :(((

Just suggestions... usually it's something stupid like this that causes colossal problems. Do you use mail via a browser or a software like Outlook? Sorry, there is no Season 9 video... I had just put in a little bit of that to announce that S9 was about to start (then). I never made a S9 video, no time :( Anyway I am happy you enjoyed this one!
(2) I also don't like that most of the humour now involves Cas+Dean or gay people or whatever, it's juvenile and not witty. Dean is not a comedian. He was a snarky, sharp guy, a naturally naughty character, and making him sound 'dumb' to do (forced) comedy for the heck of it annoys me. And this season it's just more angst b/w Sam and Dean about the secret of him not closing the gates of Hell so expect the heaviness to continue. Like S1/S2 Damon, I miss the S1 - S5 Dean.
