    Excellent! Looking at an Ecoflow product right now and this is great info

      @@billgrey thank you for taking the time to watch my channel. I hope that my demonstrations can benefit you. I prefer the Ecoflow products because of its simplicity. It's easy to use and the time to charge the units takes less time than it's competitors. The price is amazing as well compared to its competitors.

    Great video. I’ve got the delta 2 also and have a wave 2 by EcoFlow. It looks like you get about an hour running the ac on a colder setting. Good info. I’m going to need more watt hours if I want to run my wave 2 any substantial amount of time depending on the temp I set it to.

    That’s perfect for rolling blackouts in the summer.

      @@philipcorderoiii5727 after doing this demonstration, I will most likely look into getting solar panels for my Ecoflow Delta 2. The solar panels will at least help me put some charge back into the power station when it's not in use. Looks like 500 watts is the max that the Ecoflow Delta 2 can get out of the solar charging. Thanks for watching my channel

    You failed to mention the EcoFlow model. Is this the max version or the regular Delta 2?

    Update: bought it. Yes, it can.
    I have done my research but would like to get more confirmation. Can ecoflow delta 2 power a 1/3 hp 5.2amp sump pump?

      @TrailBoundOffRoad  Месяц назад

      @@dn6127 I can only assume that it can. My portable air conditioner draws 8 amps.

    Are there any solar generators that don't require firmware updates? Being disconnected from the grid is kind of the point here.

      I have only owned the Jackery brand power stations and have recently transitioned over to the Ecoflow. I like the Ecoflow better. As far as the firmware goes, the first gen Jackery 1000 and 240 did not have any firmware updates. Those were the only two that I have owned in the Jackery brand. I think you will be better off having a solar bank kit and running your power source through a series of lithium batteries and solar. Thanks for watching my channel.

      Inverter type is best when run off these battery power units . After the room reaches set temp it then uses very low power to maintain the temp

    I had been interested in finding out the output on a 8000 BTU A/C. Wonder how much it does if the settings were at 70 to 75º. Depending on the Jackery 1000 version their inverters are 1000 watts so it won't run your a/c . The Jackery 1000 plus has a 2000W inverter and would run it. But Im an ecoflow lover.
    Thanks for the video.

      @@shelley131 thank you for watching my channel. Thank you for your input on the Jackery as well. As far as the AC settings being on 70 to 75 degrees, I can only assume that the current being drawn when the compressor kicks on, will still draw at the same amperage. Therefore, the Ecoflow Delta 2 can only run this AC for under an hour.

      The air conditioner if not an inverter type will be the same wattage set at 62 as it is set at 70 if it's 75 in the room. Can be higher if it's like 80 or 85 in that area but these non inverter style portable and window air conditioners have a on or off compressor. Inverter style is a variable compressor that allows different cooling capacities . Great question!
      Btw I have a hisense 12,000 btu on my delta pro with 1800 watts of solar if you would like to see a this setup in action. That little delta 2 is awesome for it's size and weight! I had the delta max 2000 with 800 watts of solar. Absolutely amazing products! I only upgraded for the bigger solar array and for the rv using the 30 amp Anderson dc usage.

      The only way this portable ac will last longer is if the set temp is reached . It will then cycle off until the thermostat setting is reached again .
