I just don't see JPJ sticking around until pick 24. He's a big improvement for Seattle, Pittsburgh, Miami, Philadelphia and the Chargers. Unless we trade up (we won't), I don't see him wearing the Star. ...I mean, I LOVE IT, but I don't see it.
Thanks for the video. I really like your first two picks. The Cowboys need to re-establish the center position and need to start building at linebacker. I agree that the Cowboys need to get a running back. I don't know whether this running back is going to be a good pick. I wouldn't pick a wide receiver in this draft. John Stevens Jr. is still listed as a wide receiver. Because of his size, they were thinking of moving him to tight end, but he's still listed at wide receiver. Maybe he's just a guy who had one good preseason game and will never do anything else. Maybe he will never recover from his injury. If he comes back to full strength and remains at wide receiver, he's going to be a big receiver with big potential. The Cowboys have quite a few other receivers on the practice squad or injured reserve. I just don't see a need there and don't see a late-round receiver as being a guy who is going to become a superstar. I really like the idea of picking up a second offensive lineman in this draft. With Jayron Kearse almost certainly leaving the team, I'd also be tempted to draft another safety. On the other hand, I see cornerback and linebacker as bigger needs. I hope Travon Diggs returns completely, but if he never really recovers, cornerback is a need. I see linebacker as a big enough need that I want the Cowboys to double-dip at linebacker in this draft. At this point, I see defensive tackle as a bigger need than defensive end. While they want to make Viliami Fehoko Jr. a player who can go to either position, his background is still at end. The Cowboys are determined to keep playing Micah Parsons at end, and they have DeMarcus Lawrence for another year. They should have traded one of those two free agents at defensive end last September and picked up extra draft picks for this year, but the still have Sam Williams. Williams can make plays when he's not making stupid mistakes. They also have Tyrus Wheat and Durrell Johnson. Chauncey Golston also seems as much an end as a tackle. If Mazi Smith continues to be a bust, they will need a strong tackle soon. I think Jonathan Hankins is a free agent, and he's getting older anyway. I would prefer not to sign Neville Gallimore again. Picking up a defensive tackle is a higher priority to me.
that LB from Michigan so under rated or what this got perfect pursue to the ball that's what cowboys need he got that dog n him tackles to n covers oooooh dat guy gna be a factor in NFL in
I like the first three picks; immediate plug and play starters. I think DT or LT are more pressing needs than the WR though with the next pick in the 5th round.
Jalen Tolbert and Gallup were ranked in the bottom 10 in separation last season. Also Dallas was top 5 in dropped passes. Wide receiver is a bigger need than most people seem to realize.
Solid. I give it an A-. Only bcus I honestly doubt that the first two picks will be there, but I’m celebrating if both fall to the Boys. DL would have been nice day three but that receiver would be a nice consolation. Can’t knock going Dak friendly. As good as he is, he needs pieces. And that wr looked like a baby Dez.
Thanks for the mock. Grade is a C. Like the center. Dallas needs a large d tackle. O line and d line. We have too many needs and not enough draft picks. Have to trade down 2 times to get extra draft picks to fill all of our needs. Like to see you do a couple mock drafts with trade downs. Keep up the good work.
B we probably should look at R.B. at some point a pick or UDFA. Unless another CeeDee or Micah falls to us im going O.L. D.L. L.B. early and often. If its even close on BPA im going one of those 3 positions. We have 2 or 3 young T.E. S. and W.R. We could look at C.B. and R.B. at some point just have to be a cant pass up pick to take them over areas of need. No secret you win and lose in the trenches. O.L. T.E. D.L. L.B.
@@D1KamiKazi i just don't feel like T.E. is an area of need we have Ferguson, Schoonmaker and Stephens just got Fant and Hendershot may take a positive step this yr. T.E. is hugely important to winning in the NFL both in pass and run game. O.L. D.L. and L.B. it would be great to sign Ferguson to a long term deal next yr and get that out of the way. He has the size, speed, knowledge and the attitude and passion we need to set the tone on offense
If they want to have one of the worst secondaries again this year then I’ll buy all means draft another line because they would be passing up on all the good corners
Like the later round picks ok, But the first 3 not so much. Round 1, I'm going with the best LB in the draft in Cooper out of A&M. Rnd 2, Best power backs in the draft with Braelon Allen or Audic Estime (Like to Trade back and get both) Rnd 3, Center Hunter Nourzad Penn. Now you got real playmakers at all 3 positions of need.
If Jackson Powers-Johnson is gone before #24, we should trade down for extra picks. However the only issue is what team and what quarterback will be available still for a team to want to trade back or up in the first round to make a move?
I feel like this draft they’re gonna take a running back in round two and there’s a lot of good ones but I also feel like it’s gonna be a best available no matter the position draft I don’t think they go for need this year I think because of the limited picks we have we go for talent
No way Tez Walker falls to the 5th round. He probably won’t make it out of the 2nd and definitely won’t make it out of the 3rd. It would be nice though.
Contrary to what a lot of people may think (not saying you're one of them. Just a general observation), the Cowboys NEED a BIG TIME, HOME RUN, KNOCK IT OUT OF THE PARK DRAFT. Dallas doesn't NEED no "PROJECTS", "DEPTH PLAYERS", "RAW PLAYERS", and / or "GROOM PLAYERS ", etc. I've already seen WAY, WAY TOO MANY Cowboys "MOCK DRAFTS" having the Cowboys drafting WAY TOO MANY of these "TYPES" of players. I'm not saying this is a "BAD" MOCK DRAFT, per se, but one that doesn't work for me. Dallas NEEDS the one, two, and / or three players, etc, that helps get them "OVER THE TOP." You can all but scratch out FREE-AGENCY. Dallas hasn't brought in a "BIG NAME" / "BIG TIME" FREE-AGENT since they F**KED UP and OVER PAID for FREE-AGENT CB Brandon Carr - in 2012. So that basically leaves the draft. The Cowboys NEED a "MONSTER", and I mean, "MONSTER" draft. Something this MOCK really isn't. "WAITING" to the 6th. round to draft an OT means the Cowboys will have to spend yet another year "BANKING ON" LT Tyron Smith, which doesn't work for me - AT ALL. I'm not saying Dallas should get rid of LT Tyron Smith or LB Leighton Vander Esch, but there's NO WAY, NO WAY they can "BANK ON" them anymore. NO WAY. Dallas is going to NEED an OT WAY, WAY "BEFORE" the 6th. round.
@DC4L99 Thank you. Yeah. At this point, it doesn't really do Dallas any good drafting "PROJECTS", etc. That's what basically made last year's draft a waste, at least as far as last year goes. FOR INSTANCE: Drafting TE Schoonmaker. Unless he was an INSTANT, IMPACT TE or a BIG TIME TE who happened to slip, WHY draft him where they did without giving Ferguson and the other TE's at least a year to see what he - and they - could do? The 2nd. round pick should've been better used elsewhere. They can't do the same thing or similar this year.
Grade this Mock Draft 👇.

A, really good picks
Prospects that I would love for us to draft: Guys who can help our run game.
As well as guys who can help stop the oppositions run game.
I think he’s the 2nd best center in the draft, it will depend on how many team’s value o line round 1.
Thanks for the video.

Love the first 2 picks. The Louisville RB looks fast, but kinda small. Walker being available in the 5th seems strange but id take it.
Agreed.

JPJ. BEST CENTER IN DRAFT.
I really want powers Johnson I think that’s our safest pick at 1 if he’s there
Jordan runs like he’s 220 and he’s only 186lbs.
I will never draft a center as the first pick DT LB and this is every draft and this draft is deep in some positions.
This is a 😊 or draft strongest so far I see n I look at these everyday some draft pre draft cheap not this big players we need love this draft
The Cowboys need a power running back..
👍🏿 i would be ecstatic if JPJ is still on the board and we get him
Like Mazzi and Schoomaker right? LB looks good when unblocked.
If Jackson Powers-Johnson is gone before #24, we should trade down for extra picks. However the only issue is what team and what quarterback will be available still for a team to want to trade back or up in the first round to make a move?
Jackson is ok this draft version d-
An automatic F if they draft anyone from Michigan!!
Lol.
Hell no we drafted smith from michigan instead of porter jt. Second in votes for defensive rookie of the year
I feel like this draft they’re gonna take a running back in round two and there’s a lot of good ones but I also feel like it’s gonna be a best available no matter the position draft I don’t think they go for need this year I think because of the limited picks we have we go for talent

Id give it a b+ center from oregan can move. Junior colson looks good too
I like the lb from NC State
I didn’t like the RB in the 3rd round. There’s better players to be had in the 3rd round. Tez in the 5th is not very likely.
Jordan reminds Pollard
That’s what I thought.
Jpj jpj jpj all day long they take him and extend his contract owwwwweeee no sacks hurries dawg in him cowboy nation
