Airfix 1:72 Vickers Valiant (A11001)

Made from the initial release of 2011, used Halfords white primer and gloss appliance white rattle cans for the main colour and Revell Aquacolor brush painted for the rest. Had a rush of s**t to the brain and uses the wrong canopy but didn’t have the heart to replace it as I didn’t notice until after final construction.
Kit goes together fine with a one piece top wing. It does require a substantial amount for nose weight.
Finished as XD857 of 49 Squadron, RAF Mariam in 1963 armed with the Blue Danube nuclear bomb.
