There’s a place where you can put 2 fingers in and pull straight up, NO SCREWDRIVER NEEDED TO SRATCH YOUR BEAUTIFUL MERCEDES!!! 🤔🤦♀️🤦♂️🙏 God Bless and please, it’s a Mercedes😢
It’s a pos car, I own one 04 e320 4matic, they’ve depreciated like shit for the same reason, very very nice drive but preventive maintenance is absurd compared to a lot of other models. I love it tho lol kept it mint.
@@oswaldogarcia5358I too love my 2005 E350 AvantGarde … after 19 years it’s still just awesome to drive or to simply look at :-) However, as an older human I can afford now to mechanically care for it in ways that were not possible when I was younger, had a home mortgage, etc. etc. etc. In fact, I went without a car entirely for 14 years back then.
Thanks for showing how to take this out , I am going to take mine out permantly and NOT replace it, the hole is sufficient enough to hold a cup, this entire part seems OVER engineered and really unnecaary to beging with, when I sell the car ai will put back in.
Best thing i ever did was pull out and trash that foolishly designed unstable nonsensical gizmo contraption! Now i just put my coffee cup in the nice size remaining hole. Just put a few napkins in the bottom should there be any drips. Can fit my phone and wallet in there too. Or whatever. No more nonsense!
you don't need to replace the part, it can be easily repaired and removed take a look at the links fix : ruclips.net/video/7_7ybRzM_ss/видео.html remove : ruclips.net/video/RWmaIMo_t-U/видео.html I hope it helps :-))))
No no no no and again no Metal Screwdrivers just grab on both sides with both hands and pull straight up. Sry but I really get annoyed seing people jamming big ugly dirty metal screwdriver around the wooden trim pls dont
Thanks for your time.
Surely the most over-complicated design for a single cup holder in automotive history!!

You're right. I used a flathead that is used for glasses. (not a screw driver)
