Im in the UK. I can't find the galaxy store or good lock on play store. I have an S20 phone and it works fine but any ideas why it's not available for the Tab S8 in the UK? Update. I've just found it! Searched for it online and Samsung site has a link to the store. Not sure why it's not in the Play store
Hi Adrian, thanks for watching! I'm glad you found it, that's awesome! yeah, the good lock module in only on the Samsung Galaxy Store. They don't keep it on the Play Store because it's only available for select Galaxy devices, so they stick with the Samsung store instead. It can get a little confusing at times.

Hi, thanks for watching, and my apologies for the slow reply. I've been under the weather for about a week. They keep changing the name on those labels, so I wouldn't worry much about it. You'll have 2 screens to pick from that each contain modules to download.
Hi, thanks for watching! It may be that Good Lock is not available in your region. If it's available, it will be available in in the Samsung Galaxy Store. There's a workaround though. You can install a VPN client and tunnel through the United States and it will then become available. I'll whip up a quick "how to" video tonight showing how to do this for you.

Hi, thanks for watching. In addition to enabling multi-focus in multi-star, try enabling Multi-Sound in Sound Assistant. Also, MX Player lets you play multiple instances without doing any of this, you just have to disable the Play Alone option. Hopefully one of these helps.

@@thomastaufan9701 I'm afraid your country isn't supported by default. But, you can trick the Galaxy Store into thinking it's running from a different region and then download GoodLock, then switch your region back. Truly sorry for the super slow reply, I overlooked a bunch of comments while I was away for some health issues back when you left this. Oh my, that sounds really strange, I've never heard of that happening. I'd start with uninstalling and reinstalling it, and if that doesn't work, you can try to use FineLock instead. If on a Galaxy tablet, try this - Open up settings, go to "Advanced Features", in there click on "Labs", then pick Facebook from the available apps. Switch it from App Default to Full Screen. That will force it into landscape mode. Works well with TikTok too. Thank you so much for watching!

Hi, just found your channel, appreciate your work.SUBSCRIBED! I’m planning to get galaxy book 2 pro 15 inch. I want a slim and light laptop with good performance for - video photo editing, web dev, coding. This machine doesn’t have any dedicated graphics but its 12th gen, would it suffice my needs *AND* I also found Galaxy book Odyssey, it has dedicated graphics 3050ti with 11th gen chip at the same price range. But there is no proper review for the Odyssey and I am sceptical about it because it has less publicity. Is it a good device to consider than Book 2 pro?
Hi, thank you so much for watching and for your support, I greatly appreciate it. To answer the first question, the gb2 pro 360 will handle all of those things quite easily, with the exception of video editing due to the integrated graphics. You can edit just fine, just expect rendering and export times to be a little worse than something with a dedicated GPU. I'm a developer as well, and Visual Studio tools run fine on it. The Odyssey is a great machine, except the screen sort of sucks compared to the gb2 pro 360. But otherwise, it's much more powerful having that 1050ti and H series processor. It's a tough call, I'd look them over in detail before deciding. You get more ports with the Odyssey, but the webcam and screen are worse off compared to the 360.
On my Galaxy Tab S8 ultra, when I enter Lockstar, the only option that appears is Lock screen timeout, but there is neither Edit portrait Lock screen nor Edit landscape Lock screen. What can happen?
Hi, thank you so much for watching! Once you enter Lockstar, have you scrolled all the way down? The 3 options aren't visible until you do. Also, are you using one of the default Samsung Lock Screens? If not, please try with one their official lock screens first, then swap out for a 3rd party one after you've made the adjustment in LockStar. Also, please check if you have the latest version of it by manually checking in the Google Play Store. Those 3 options have been around for a while, so I doubt if it's out of date, but figured I'd mention it.
@@RADERTECH The version I have is 3.0.00.6 from May 11, 2022. I was actually using my own lock screen wallpaper, but I changed it to one of the official ones and after restarting the tablet I still can't see more than the option Lock Screen timeout. Sorry for the mistakes (Google translation)
@@mferrap Sorry for the slow reply, just noticed your reply. So I'm on an older version than you, from April 26, 2022. It could be they have different options available per region, but that's seem like it would be odd considering we all have the same default options without using Goodlock. This is very interesting, I'll try to dig in more to see what I can find out.
Thanks for watching. No, it doesn't support the regular galaxy themes. But you can install Theme Park in good lock that basically accomplishes the same thing. It's even more robust than Galaxy themes once you dive into it a bit.

Thanks for producing this video! I had been considering getting a used Galaxy Tab S4, but I don't really like Samsung's One UI (particularly some of their design decisions), so I'm glad to see that their Good Lock apps work on Galaxy Tabs, as Galaxy Themes doesn't, and the former could help me make One UI look more like Android's stock UX that I'm more accustomed to*, but then I'd have to of course decide which Samsung utilities I'd want to keep and which I'd want to swap out for the Google Pixel / Android One equivalents. If I can get One UI to look as close to Android's stock UX as I can, I could get away without a custom ROM and keep Knox and SafetyNet security intact. *The phone I use is a Sony Xperia 1ii, and I do like that Sony's Android phone software is, like on their TVs, basically Android's stock UX but with some nice little Sony customisations here and there without going over the top.
Thank you so much for watching, I appreciate you! Yes indeed, Good Lock can get you a lot closer to stock, without having to fuss with custom roms, bootloaders, kernels, and all that stuff that I used to enjoy doing tremendously - well, back in TouchWiz days, lol! One UI is coming along, it's certainly a lot in the past 18 months or so I'd say. I'm hoping 5.0 gets us a little closer to what I think it's really capable of becoming. I hope so anyways, I try to stay optimistic. It's a preference thing though, and I've grown to like OneUI quite a bit as of late. The Sony Xperia is a great phone, a lot of folks swear by it.
