I watched this film and it was exhausting to watch having to plough through so many cliches and ‘twists’ which aren’t really twists at all, just predictable pivots.
You wanna see a terrible holiday goes wrong in Europe movie watch Beckett with John David Washington. Ohhh its bad really bad! Starts off well with a nice greek countryside chase sequence come with a good 70s like ost but everything after that is poo.
Apparently, that thing about the police not being able to take action over a disappearance until 24 hours have passed isn't even true - they can start investigating pretty much as soon as the person's absence is a matter of concern to the relatives.
I’m a native of Split and watched the film out of curiosity, of course. I had a good laugh seeing an Asian gynecologist and African pathologist since there are virtually no other doctors other than white ethnic Croatians in real Split. Even a Syrian taxi driver is highly unlikely. I’m sorry, but there’s no “diversity” in Croatia. The only people of ethnicity other than Caucasian that you might encounter in Split are tourists.
His review is spot on. It starts ok but descends into silliness with more plot holes than my old socks. Avoid.

Can only mean they can't be ar*ed then. I watch a lot of true crime docs (mostly US) and that line is pumped a lot (recent crimes last 5 years etc).
The best part of these reviews are the British things I don't understand but... almost understand. Are "twiglets" twizzlers?
