Water Street Bookstore hosted Elizabeth Rush to discuss her book, Rising.

It is fortunate that every once in a while a book comes along which really opens our eyes, and jolts us into a new knowledge of our environment. This is such a book, and it is wonderful
that Elizabeth Rush is such a gifted spokesperson, and has written this book. Hats off to her, and may she, and her voice, ring out and change many lives. I hope she wins a Nobel Prize someday.

I find this so depressing. We would need to junk every car and truck to stop this. Replace all vehicles with electric vehicles. Solar panels on the roofs , wind Mills, safe new nuclear power plants will all be needed. I know we'll wait until it's too late.

Very impressive, loved the simplicity of stories bound together by the Author, to share the larger picture of the impending crisis by pitching in for us all to understand the criticality of the situation at hand. We wish her the best in her endeavors.
