Wow, wonderful work Mr idrees. Always putting out new method of fault finding, I thought this could only be fixed with a thermal camera to find out which of the rams is overheating or not getting hot. Always rejected this kind of job because I don't have a thermal camera. But thanks to you I now know how to use another method to try to fix this fault. Thanks sir. More blessing.
Great repair mate and very educational, If u had of used UART to fault find would this have just shown as a DCT error? Some may have replaced the Ram but done so by mistake not knowing the resistors were at fault?
Hi bro, could you check if the resistors can also cause this problem? I have a ps4 with blod and in uart it gives me loadbios activating mentest it tells me that it is an error in the memories And they all need to be replaced, is there any way to check 🤔
Hello master, the PS4 slim blue light blinks for 5-10 seconds and the device turns off completely. When I looked roughly, I did not see any short circuit. The fuses seem to be intact. The fan does not react in any way. Which parts should I check? I will take reference as a sensitive point and if there is one. Where should I look? The apu does not heat up at all.
Great job as usual and need another board to comapare the values of the resistors. This would not have shown under a thermal camera? as presumably there was no short on the board?
I have a question. I've got the apu bias a bit different. The resistor closest to the apu shows 120ohm and the one next should be 1kohm but mine shows 390ohms. Even after replacing it, it still shows the same value.
@DrCryogenic Thank you for your question! The resistor readings you're getting could be influenced by parallel circuitry connected to the APU. If replacing the resistor didn't change the value, it's worth investigating nearby components or traces for abnormalities. Additionally, double-check the APU's condition, as it could affect the bias. Let me know if you need further guidance!
@idreestech I figured it out. The ram modules 4/5 were faulty and after replacing them, the bias returned back to normal value. But however it didn't fix the issue of blod. A careful inspection on the apu showed a crack on the corner explaining why the ram modules were reported as faulty. It was the apu that was bad
My PS4 has a BLOD but the blue light stays on for about 2 seconds and then goes off. When i try to turn the PS on again afterwards, nothing happens. Please what might this issue be and how can i fix it?
@idreestech Thanks, Sir. I don't know a trustworthy repairer in Ghana, but I would check the reviews to find one who can work on it. Thanks for the diagnosis though
Hii! Its been months since I have been able to use my ps4... The blue light keeps blinking and my TV says "No Signal". When I plug the USB cable to charge the controller, the controller light doesn't even go on. What should I do??

Great job uncle most maybe all those who call themselves technicians would've say this is an apu problem i want to see more ps4 blod fixes.
I love your work and videos brother , keep the good and halal work , God bless you 😊
Thank you, I will
Great job! It's like magic when you save a system.
Thanks dear!
Sir better camera angle next time please I would love to see exactly where you probe with the oscilloscope on the motherboard 🙏🏾

@kizeo0 loadbios is a software corrupted error, just try a firmware revert process,it’ll be fixed.
amazing, other techs would have tried to reflow the apu...great job
Many many thanks
Any documentations of the PS4 Slim RLOD and the PS4 Pro RLOD and BLOD?
No, dear!
@@idreestech Ok, i never saw the PS4 Slim overheat error/RLOD or any PS4 Pro errors
No, I have fixed many like this.

It may help in checking some necessary points. ruclips.net/video/sW4D8BsvpKU/видео.html
Do U use UART for your research/repairs? Great video
Some friend presented it to me.

Fantastic 👍🏻
Which part you do replacement?
Both of the SMT resistances can be seen in the video.

You are asking for learning charges or repair charges?
