Dennis is obviously rich. This episode shows why he earns and deserves every penny of it. Works hard and with passion, and smiling the whole time. Such a nice guy, treats everyone he meets with respect.
People become wealthy by engaging in lots of mutually beneficial transactions. From his attitude you can see exactly why he has become wealthy and successful.
Caped Wonder, I never stated that he wasn't. Sometimes, though, his car information is not always accurate.
@@sergeantmasson3669 nobody is perfect my guy. Regardless I’m willing to wager he’s right 99.9% of the time
@@ikecostner1 More like 90%
@@sergeantmasson3669 better than my 2%.
This is such a great format. Everyone on the team gets a mention, local restaurants get a shout out and plenty of respect for the owners of the cars. Makes it great to watch.
Alex is always smiling. Dude has the best job in the world. I'd be smiling too
AMEN TO THAT MICHAEL.....ONE OF THE BEST.....AND ALSO GAS MONKEY GARAGE....would be good Too!!!!!!
Yes Chase at GMG and Alex at Collins Bro both have it made. They are set up for life now with so many opportunities that alot of us won't ever get.
He seems like such a likable dude, who might possibly participate in a circle pit or 2.
If he was engaged to the Daughter, PERFECT JOB?
@@Santeri-zo3wx A circular mosh pit 🤘🏼
Love how this seller got straight to business!! Props to that guy!
Yeah, instead of trying to talk to you about "the good old days" for two hours first. LoL!
Denis: "we dont use the term holy grail often"
Denis in every episode: "we got another holy grail"
One day he's gonna get a call about THE holy grail.
Most misused and overused phrase on YT, rendering it meaningless.
@@johna1160 "underrated" being 2nd
I am sure at this point Dennis only buys the cars he feels really are worth it. A few that he can clean and turn..But he has the time and knowledge that when certain cars come avaliable he gets them..This being one of those type of cars..
Dennis such s poser no priced nothing like Richard who is real
Great People, Great Cars, Great Food (and Great Waitress), looking forward to see that green beast cleaned up and back to life!
Yeah! These folks restored my faith in humanity. After so many scrubs who act like you and your guys were just walking up and down the street knocking on doors, and asking the folks if they had any old cars they wanted to maybe sell, these Germantown folks had their act together. Everything all organized and ready! Yes!! Would that all your sellers were so well prepared.
As a Mustang fan of over 30 years now, this is a holy grail car for sure.
Respect for Dennis and his team, I'm a vet in my 70s, and living now in Brazil, brings back the memories of the old muscle car days. :-)
its amazing to see a car with so much history still alive in someone's garage. i would love to keep it the way it is with all its patina. Beautiful car.
@@wileecoyote5749 dead is when its crushed.
What a find! Amazing.
67',68' my favorite top 3 Mustangs, to,69-70 too.
When I was about 9-10 yrs old, my older sister pulled in our driveway in early 70's with a 67 or 68 Mustang, it was dark blue, like a midnight blue, I was on my little bike went to end of drive way, when I saw the fast back and those 3 curved vertical taillights on each side, even that young I thought it was the coolest.
All I remember is the color and how cool the fastback is.
Can't wait to see that one cleaned up and running. 👍
Nice to see Alex back again!!!!!! I love this channel….it’s something I actually look forward to!!! What a wonderful way of life!!!!
Another OUTSTANDING video! What a great find. Can't wait to see the end result. Oh, and the food segment...WOW! I could probably eat that much in my younger days. Not so much today.
in these days where my cubboard is often bare,i get to live vicariously thru Dennis Resteraunt jaunts.
some Great food,Great cars,Great people and as always Great Stories.
i Live for the stories...ty Dennis for sharing your wonderful finds with us.
Best show on RUclips
Agreed
Great content and good production also
No doubt
The seller was a good dude, definitely earned the "good caretaker of the car" moniker!
Coffee walk is the best car show on RUclips!! This kicks all the tv shows butt !
Now that was a nice smooth transaction and Dustin and his Dad could not have been cooler!
Dennis is a class act , treats everyone with respect and invites the guy for dinner too. Absolute legend of a guy 👌
Every day I aspire to be at least half the man Dennis Collins is, what a class act. I'm so glad he made this channel rather than some stupid fake drama TV show! Awesome find and video Dennis and crew 👍
Love this car !! In 1969 my uncle came back from Vietnam and he had a 68.5 black with gold C stripe Cobra jet !! Memories!! Thank you Dennis and team for saving this one !! Can’t wait to see it restored!!
He's not restoring it, he's putting it back together as a survivor.
I'm not so sure about that I have messaged him twice about a 51 jag and he has never responded
@@michaelwynne4346 great idea !
Leaving it as an original survivor car is the absolute best. Cool factor is off the charts.
Personally I think this one is a little to far to keep it as an original survivor? I would restore it back to its factory fresh condition but of course keep everything just like she was delivered. And absolutey has to be dressed with that beautiful green paint!
Another lecture in history Mr Dennis Collins impresses me even more every time I watch the show so much of knowledge and history he knows God bless him thank you sir outstanding
You are impressed pretty easy.

Thanks for telling me, appreciate it.
I absolutely love these videos … the owner, the car, the history…the find …. Plus you get some special time with the previous owner to chat over lunch …. These videos are super cool … please keep them rolling for us !! Cheers!
I love those late 60's Mustangs but for me you just can't beat a 1970 Boss 429. The true King of the ponycars! Here in the UK old Mustangs have always been rare and my Dad used to collect American cars when I was a kid. Most of the Mustangs he owned were early 70's wedge mustangs. Cobrajet 351's, Mach 1's and even a rare Boss 351. His red 1970 Mach 1 was my favourite. Even then (the 80's) Boss 9's were untouchable and way too rare here in England. I remember he had a blue '68 convertible that was really nice but was left in storage in a warehouse and was vandalised. A true crime in the rawest sense!
The boss 351 was way underrated. Tuned good my buddy’s boss 351 with only headers ate every 428 he ran back in early 70s. Car went around corners very well back then .
King of Pony Cars is L88/ZL1 Camaros... stock actual HP of 560 @ 6600 RPMs...
Nobody's ever gonna agree on this one. And the Mopar street hemi was more underrated than any of them because it had such great high-rpm breathing with its hemi heads. Eventually it was outlawed from NASCAR because it was mopping up at the racetracks. It was deemed unfair to Chev and Ford. Doesn't matter who was 'king', the fun and sound of driving muscle cars worked for all makes and lots of engines.
Thank you Dennis, Alex, Zach, Kelsey et all! Outstanding episode!
Absolutely amazing, finding these beautiful classics and the blood, sweat and gears getting them back on the road!
That restaurant,... Wow!
Mouth watering. Had to resist licking the screen.
I had a fully loaded 1968 Mustang Coupe, 302 V8, automatic, vinyl top, with am/fm Philco stereo, all courtesy lights and louvers, beige with black interior, that same steering wheel design, map reader overhead lights, center console with a factory installed 8-track in the the dash. My dad bought that one off the showroom floor in Houston in 1968 for $3300, and he also bought the matching 1968 fastback, same color, fully loaded, with a 289 3 speed stick, for $3100. My mom hated the fastback so he sold it and gave me the coupe in 1973 as my first car. In 1980, I sold it for $1,000 to buy college books for my business classes at U of H. It only had 72,000 miles on it. Now, what did I learn? Don't do stupid things with classic cars. I ended up buying a 1972 Datsun hatchback tin can wiht a 4 cylinder lawnmower engine. I couldnt even get the thing up the hills at Sam Houston State later on. Don't go to college, boys and girls.
Are you there Dennis you found another holy Grail mustang I like to say I like the way you handle your business when you buy from someone you always take them out to eat or you ask him to go out and eat you take care of all your workers that's why you are successful you give back and you will continue to be successful because you give back take care
Ok youre the man beautiful engine stand and the food
Dennis, here's a story for ya. I live in Hamilton, Ontario Canada. I pulled into a self serve car wash last week and notice an old muscle car 2 bays down from me. To my surprise it was a fully badged 1970 Charger R\T. A total survivor still being driven. It gets better. The owner tells me its an original California car, numbers matching solid floor and body with minimal rust. He said he is the 3rd owner and it still has all the original smog equipment and he has the original BOL from California. I saw the trunk was spotless too as he showed me the special vent pipe running the back right fender of the car. As a treat he squealed the tires for me when he drove away. I would hazard to guess its value in USD as it sits but what I have picked up as a fan, maybe 50g's? Just gorgeous.
I have the Bullitt car.....it is 1:18 scale, but still ;-0. Love the content Dennis, best part of my Friday is watching you all live the American dream, making a living while doing something you love! Keep it Up!
Steve Mqueen green is actually the color description, took me a minute to figure out it’s not Mqueens car. These titles and thumbnails can play tricks on ya, however I’ve seen worse lol
Love the episode as always. I was wondering how well that blanket would hold up and the end of the video told the story... it now has the shredded patina, lol.
I just love the way Dennis takes care of his business!!
He knows what he’s talking about and still has fun doing it.
I would love to see this particular Mustang when he’s done with it!!!
Great find…great color. I was fixated on the odd placement of the ceiling fan under the staircase….
I’d love to see that fan run aswell.
Im thinking it's just a way to hang it up instead of laying around getting easily tweaked or damaged. Your thoughts may vary.
I love how honored he was to be selling the car to you. Just goes to show that you're truly a stand up person and have a wonderful team surrounding yourself and the brand you've built.
The best way to start your weekend is to watch the new episode of Coffee Walk!
Once again the attention to detail.. The Stamp on the code. These vods just will never get old.. Keep up the great work everyone!
That's 20 minutes from my house. In southaven ms. I'm waiting to see what he says the best restaurant is to eat at around this area.
Denny doesn’t ever skip his biscuits !
I watch a lot of car shows and Dennis Collins and Coffee Walk is my favorite. He is real and knowledgeable and treats people well with respect and he isn't a poser! And he's not afraid to eat fried food!
Thank-you Dennis for yet another really interesting episode!! Love the "Muscle Car Era". Your knowledge and passion for these cars really shows in every episode, thank-you for sharing with your viewers!! Please keep us all posted with updates on this incredible find.
P.S. I've got to get out of Canada and come down to your "neck of the woods" to try some REAL BBQ!!!!!!

That car is really special, I can't even imagine how that family feels inside. On one hand it is a relief and the other it is a heartbreak, letting go of family. that's a cool car...

We need some videos of these gems as they're being restored, and the finished projects! You can come across some of the most desirable and beautiful cars made, and it would be a treat to see how you care for them.
R code! 1 of 2 - most definitely a Holy Grail! Congrats guys 👍🏼
This video just popped up in my feed. I guess the algorithm knew I was also a Highland Green ‘68 Mustang owner. 😊 Dennis, you seem like a good boss, man. Your guys work hard, but you treat ‘em right, and everybody’s always got a smile on their face. Keep up the good work!
Always look forward to the Friday Premiere, Outstanding!
One of the coolest things about that era of Mustang fastbacks was that the back seat folded down to a perfectly flat carpeted floor with chrome trim. I've got a modern Mustang GT and it's fantastic but while the back seat folds down, it's not like in the olden days. I had a '69 FB myself and thought that was a cool thing.
As always, Dennis and crew are top notch. Great content!
Awesome find ! Deserves a full restoration! Thanks Dennis for sharing this video!
I always enjoy Dennis ordering at the restaurant and watching him eat ...LOL
Almost 😂 the best part😁😁😁
Oh wow, Steve McQueen Mustang has been found! Oh, just the green color....
Good show! Would love to see that mustang restored to original. That food looked amazing as well.
I'm not a Ford guy! However that being said, who doesn't love Mustang's! Especially fast backs! Or anything that is in any way associated, or reminds us of one of the greatest actors of our time, Steve McQueen! Wow! That being said, the great food at that restaurant looked so good my mouth was watering! Love your video's!
It’s a Dennis FRIDAY!! Just slightly better than Zach’s Water Tower Wednesdays lol
Dennis, you sir are the master of finding the best cars in the world! You do what I dreamed about doing when I was a kid! Best job in the world, hunting down the rarest, coolest and interesting classic cars! 👍👍👍👍
Congratulations Zack , outstanding !!!
Geezus. A '68 GT Mustang (in Highland Green no less) and some of the best looking barbeque I have ever seen. That Boss Hog plate made my mouth water as well.
That's the weirdest spot I've ever seen a ceiling fan hung up! Check out behind where the car owners are standing in the garage lol
I hope this guy didn't work on the mustang if he put that fan there!
That is definitely strange.
Finding these Holygrail Mustangs is great. I love watching you save these vehicles and hope you show what you do with them. Especially if you get them up and running again.
I can't think of a less deserving person to find and buy one than Dennis Collins. And, the Mustang Steve McQueen drove was a 390 GT. Not an R code Cobra Jet.
Steve McQueen=clickbait
Great episode, my favorite part was when Dennis swiped his hush puppy through the butter had a 'best bite'. ✌️
Did he say he was Born in 82'? Christ I was born in 63' and he looks old enough to be my Father!! Damn.
Evil Jesus He said he got married and had kids and we all know how that can be.
It is so cool that you are finding the old Mustangs . I have a 68 Torino GT with a built 390 , a c6 with a shift kit . A Ford 9 inch with 3:50 gears. Best of luck to you in the future . If you ever get to Fargo . Let's go for a ride .
These videos are fantastic- is there a place that documents the restorations you guys do for these cars? Videos of the work done on top notch finds would be better content than most of what's on ytube, hands down!
Thank you Dennis and team for the weekly episode's. I always watch you and I'm always flashed by your knowledge and how you work with your team and seller. A real gentleman.
I'm always interested about a tour trough your "stash" where the findes are parked, where they were built up. A special like the tour through your Jeep collection would be great.
Keep up the work, stay safe and " have a great day" . God bless you with your family and team.
As always Dennis an crew, class act all the way. I have enjoyed every video you have made. Thank you for sharing. Fan in Illinois

A great find, glad it's going to be a survivor. I was at the Mecum auction in '20 when the original Bullit went through for 3.4M. Looking forward to watching the progress on this car
Dennis, I’m not a car guy but greatly enjoy your videos. You seem like you’re a great person to work for. Waiting on my coffee to arrive. Keep up the great videos sir.
Dennis and all his crew are definitely a class act. I must disagree with your assessment that you are not "mining diamonds" however. That to me is exactly what you do!. The cars you find and rescue are more valuable than any hunk of fossilized coal.
Always a great find by Dennis and crew. Thanks for constantly bringing good content!
That 68 has the different rear marker trim. than Steve Mcqueen's. Same type of rear marker trim i had on my 68 notchback . Mine had some 67 parts on it. cos the year change over was still being done . for one. it had the 67 gas cap. car was assembled in February . of 68 . LOVE seeing these cars picked up ! Am I missing it, or is there a follow up video on any of these cars showing them after they are either preserved or restored? I would love to see this one and many of the others. Thanks guys!!!
I've wondered the same! Unsure if they restore & sell, or have a warehouse they keep all the restored cars in? Unfortunately, in this day/age, us average folk who grew up during these times, can hardly afford one of these restored cars, but...we can always dream! Sure many more of these cars in America, than here in Canada it seems! Great video guys, and kudos to the videographer as well, great job!
I could watch y'all for ever! Living the Dream, Working hard, Doing the research, Doing the Rebuilds and refinishing! Now let me get to my buddies shop and work on my 69 Convt. Camaro. Love y'all! ❤️

German Town is o.k. but Memphis propper is an absolute mess and dying a painful death! Unfortunately Nashville is going to hell also thanks to the liberals that run Davidson County!
