One thing's for sure is that it does require a STRONG mental fortitude to go through this everyday. Been at it for 3 years, 6 days a week. Just a personal preference but I actually like to end it on a cold temp to get my day started for maximum alertness.
I appreciate the nuanced explanation here. Previously (for my hands) I was doing ice-cold and ~110 degrees and yeah it was tough. As some comments pointed out, doing this in the shower (for the whole body) is a very easy method that almost anyone can do.
Thank you for taking the time to comment! It is a shame that there is this mindset that if you are not miserable, it doesn't work. The exact opposite is true. Keep up the great work!
Thanks man. Appreciate it. I'm doing it for a reason that I have pain in my right heel and I'm playing lots of football on age of 41,so I need to recover this pain the heel. So far I think that that therapy helps.
@@CoachRobbBeams I have a question just an important one in my case I have no available tub to submerge by body with. would it still work if I use shower or a bucket and slowly & pouring hot & cold water constantly to maintain temp all while still performing some form of mobility exercises?

Thank you for your feedback! As long as you don't pull a muscle with everything being cold (and tight) you are good to go. Keep up the great work!
Been doing the sauna and cold shower on and off for years but only recently have I been consistent and doing them together. Absolutely amazing ❤❤❤❤
Keep up the great work!
This was exactly the information I was looking for! Thank you

I do it in the shower just started day 2 a friend told me about this
Not always enjoyable, but productive for sure!
Very good point. Doing this in the shower makes a lot of sense.
Does a shower work if I switch from cold to hot? I don't have the ability to have a cold and a warm bath
Absolutely! Thank you for watching and commenting.

Can you cite particular studies that support claims of benefits of contrast therapy?
I heard ending in cold Is better but you say warm ? Hmm.
Ending on the warm reduces your chance of tearing something. Thanks for watching.
