Wow what beautiful Smiles from Karen - they are so special. Lovely to see your Cinnamon Stars! I haven't picked mine up for a week or two - this made me want to get on with it! Happy stitching my friend xx
Hi Amy. Karen really is an amazing finisher. I cannot believe how much she gets done. Those cinnamon. Stars, love it. I'm trying to learn to be less monogamous with my stitching. Maybe I'm afraid some stitches will never get finished if I am always chasing new things.
Hi Friend! I agree! At Christmas I had less than 10...now it's over 30...I've had several finishes, but my large starts far exceed the smalls. Currently trying to figure out a plan to work my wips down (As I also have 3 new starts this week). I'd like to go monogamous for a while, but that wouldn't make for very interesting videos : D I'm a mess, well, my hobby is a mess- ha!
Congratulations on the helmet finish! I'm so glad your mom is doing better. Your received smiles are so pretty! I'm stitching on Strong and Courageous during our visit. I put up the little bit of fall decorations I have this past Sunday. Icm with you and don't decorate for Halloween. Have a wonderful rest of the week! It doesn't feel like it's only Tuesday.
Even though fall is my favorite, I don't have that much to put out. May need to work on that, but thoughtfully. I love Strong and Courageous! What a lovely stitch! Have a lovely rest of your week too, friend!
Always a pleasure to see your stitching. I'm glad your mother is doing well. I will be so interested to see how Winter Rose Manor goes for you. I did use all the called-for and felt a bit disillusioned by the colors and how they did not show up on the fabric! But since you're using a DMC conversion you will have a different result!
Hi, friend! Yes, it will be different. I'm sort of excited to see how it comes out but also unsure. In stitching the pinkeep, I was hesitant about the conversion for the flower bowl so I made that note when kitting up the sampler. Thank you for your encouraging comments (and lovely videos : )
I can't say that I ever watched Murder She Wrote when it was originally on but it was one of my mom's favor shows. My mom has been gone for many years but now I find myself stopping to watch it and think of her. Watching you while eating lunch so not sure what I'll work on tonight but probably something fall (with AC and all the fans on 😁). Currently I want to start all the things.
Ha, I do that too- a/c and fans...willing the fall temps to get here! Also right there with you with wanting to start all the things. But also need a plan to stitch all the current things.... Happy Stitching Friend!
Hi Amy! I use paper charts too. But one piece is on my tablet because it's all stitched using black floss. The pattern is black, so printing didn't work. Angels of Peace is pretty. I have Winter Rose Manor, too! It's been kitted up for a few years. Prayers for your mom and her continuing to make progress ♡ Take care 🌷
Hi Cynthia! Yes paper charts! That would be hard to stitch from an all black chart. And WinterRose Manor- it would be lovely to stitch with you...I'll probably be stitching on it for a long time : ) Happy Stitching!
Just got back from my trip great to see your video come up. So glad your mom is doing well. No stitching or posting for me was without internet for the trip, was just nice to disconnect for awhile. Gearing up to help with my dad and his next steps, not sure how well that will go, constantly reassessing. Those smiles are super sweet love the beading on the edge and such a nice pick me up. Great progress on all your projects, hope to get back into mine again. Happy Stitching
How was your trip??? So glad you got a chance to get way and with little or no connection. It is lovely to disconnect! I am in the same boat, constantly reassessing next steps- things change from step to step. I'll be praying for you all in helping/caring for him. I hope you get some stitches in too, friend : )
@@RenewingStitches Trip was great can’t wait to go again in March, different ship again, nice to see all the different shows and not have to worry about parking etc. Dad comes home on tuesday will be crazy for days, hope will still be able to stitch a bit
@@mudcreekstitcher Yay!!! I just started today...and in measuring my fabric out, I realized it's really not as big as I thought it was going to be. So glad you are stitching it too! Have a great week at school!
Thanks for the mention, I'm glad I could keep you company while you kitted up your HAED. It's going to be beautiful! Happy stitching 💜
