Wow what awesome progress on your wips. Glad your mom is doing so good and had a successful surgery. I was stitching blackbird designs yellow submarine but I finished it, I am so happy the border at the top was killer. Think I want to start something new again to take on my upcoming travels. I love the progress you have done on your projects. I am stitching on Prairie Lodge by The Prairie Schooler and I am working on the Squirrel on 18-count Khaki with 2 over 1. When it is finished it comes out to be a 3" x 3" square but let me tell you it packs a lot of stitches on such a little piece. Happy Stitching.

You are so young…I had my first baby in 1995 and had been married over a decade. I was still stitching and remember this magazine too. The mobile stitches could be stitched and shaped like mouse and bunny done earlier this year. 🧵🪡🦉

HI Amy, The colors of Fall are amazing but I have to say I love everything apple! The smells, picking them, baking with them, and drinking hot apple cider. However with 115 weather lately, I have to say I cannot do any of those things because its just too hot! When I saw your beach pattern it immediately made me think of Hebrews 6 19. Good Morning my friend and yes I stitch Quaker Rejoice on the call for and with DMC. There is a fabric called Grandma's skirt you have it, 😅 I'm watching you on my laptop so I can make a comment. Amy so many beautiful projects you worked on, I am amazed. I seem to only rotate about 3 at a time, need to see if can add more, such a learning process. Good luck with your mom and dad I am going through a similar situation too. Mom and dad in 2 different places, she finished her last cancer treatment today so yeah for that, now to concentrate on all his issues. It is a long journey. I love the crisp air in the fall and all the smells of course. Reminds me want to make a quick apple dump cake! Tonight needed something easy so doing my 18 count aida project which has a turkey on it. Happy Stitching

As for my favorite thing about autumn - this is definitely controversial, but I like the daylight getting shorter, the lengthening shadows, the later sunrises. I like these things because they signal the coming of winter, yes, and with that usually comes better sleep and the particular beauty that the more slanted sunlight has. To be sure, I live in North Carolina, so we don't get the extreme early dark that I had as a child growing up in Michigan, but I do like even the less extreme version we get here in the southern US.

Love the finish on your grandmothers fabric. What a great memory. Good luck to your week - I hope the surgery goes well. You can mail all the way up until Oct 1st for the ATC. As long as they get to me sometime in October, you’re good.

Grandmas skirt (or maybe apron) and it needs to look like it's flour dusted from wiping her hands. 😊 MaryLou has a floss and a fabric named after her. Cindy of Farmhouse Flossies and Such told me she has someting in the works for me too, I still have no clue, but pretty sure it will be green!

I want to do Cinnamon Stars one day. Your Heritage Sampler is beautiful. You will get your Angels done. I have a few Nash pinkeeps. I really like her style, but I haven't started any of hers yet.
