Hi Amy, Sounds like you had an amazing vacation. When I am behind on flosstube, I start from the top of my list and go down and watch my regulars (4-5 of them). Then I choose one flosstuber that I may have not watched in awhile and will play binge watch on theirs until I am caught up. Then I will continue down my list. This can take a week or so and when I am off or it is a weekend it makes for enjoyable stitching time! Bobbin looks super cute! Happy Stitching

Loving Fish n Ships and the start of Spring Quaker. Pretty! When I’m overwhelmed with videos, I first watch all my absolute favorites and then start going back to the ones I like catch up with. Sometimes if there’s more than one video from them, I watch the most current one. If I have time I may go back and watch the older ones I missed or I just let it go and just watch what’s current.
Good idea! I have many absolute favorites though, which might be adding to the issue- ha! Not upset about that part : )

Speaking of catching up, that’s just what I’m trying to do now, lol. I pick and choose, and take my time. I watch the most recents first, and then work my way back as I have the time. Your little mouse with the lace skirt…oh my goodness it is beyond adorable!!Fantastic finish!
Ha! I'm still catching up too! Thank you, the mouse was fun. Good idea about watching the most recent first. Having done the opposite for so long, I think that's part of the overwhelm. Thanks for the tip and always for the encouragement, friend!!!
How nice that you're working that particular piece on the scrap from your grandmother's skirt. That will be meaningful all the way through your process. As for how do I catch up on videos when I've been away, well, I'm in that boat right now! I will not be able to catch up fully, but I watch the ones that I can or that I have time for, and some of them I just skip. There are not enough hours in the day to watch everything, so even when I'm not returning from vacation I am behind to some extent!
Yay, friend, you're back! Well, I'm assuming so. I have missed your videos! For the catching up part, I don't know that I'll be able to get fully caught up, but there's definitely not enough hours in the day and I need to be okay with skipping. Can't wait to see your next one and hear all about the trip! (No pressure : )
Glad you had such a wonderful trip, glad to see you back. The pinks will be so pretty for spring quaker. Just finished Jack Rabbit and started on Srawberry tier tray, from annabellas new monthly mini subscription box, lots of great stuff for a small price. Just got back from a cruise gone for 10 days with no internet. Like others I have must watches, some that are two long I skip altogether and others I might even unsubscribe as my tastes changes regarding my cross stitch journey. I try to watch while stitching but can’t always.

That is Well is such a wonderful hymn. So uplifting. Your stitching looks great. About Flosstube…I get so flustered with myself because I get so far behind. I usually go look at my favs first(one being-Renewing Stitches.Have you seen her? She’s just precious). I try to catch up on all the missed ones but never seem to be able to. But nevertheless I make it my goal all the time. Maybe one day…

Welcome back. I am still catching up on the flosstubes from my marking period…I go back in my list and grab an old one each day and then my regular new ones but accept I won’t get everything watched. Sometimes a new video will talk about something cool and I will search out the missing video. I do reach saturation with wip parades in January and don’t get to them all. I am stitching on my stained glass owl as I watch tonight…time for confetti in the cheek feathers. Take care.

I watch floss tube on my TV. That way I can do thing I need to and can see everything
I do that sometimes, but only when the guys are out of the house : ) I do have it playing on my laptop when I'm prepping supper. But it sure would be more helpful on a bigger screen so I can just glance over. Hmmm....will have to think about that one. Thanks you Tracy!!!
Your little mouse is so cute! When I went to the Grand Canyon in 2019 the word that I kept using to describe it was “Magnificent”. And it snowed while I was there. It was stunning.
Thank you Andrea! And yes, that is a great word for the Grand Canyon- magnificent! Truly! And snow- I can't imagine how beautiful that was. What time of the year and where did you go? We were at the south entrance. I heard that the north rim is closed several months in the winter because of the snow.
@@RenewingStitches I was there in mid May. I was told it was very unusual for that time of year. I was as at the South rim. I drove up for the day from Sedona where I was staying during my vacation. I would do that trip again in a heartbeat!
bobbin looks so adorable! I like the apron. Spring quaker by lila's studio is on my wishlist. I might get that after I finish "Let Freedom Ring" Oh I'm way behind on flosstube. I just watch my regulars till I'm up to date with them then I'll go watch all the others.
Thanks Dani!! How do you feel about the autumn quaker that she released? I'm on the fence. I mean, I like it, but the others have a rectangular section in the middle. Love the Fish n Chips with the pretty blue that you picked out. Can not wait for you to stitch on the Spring Quaker. When I get behind on my FlossTube list I will pick my favorite ones first and watch the most recent one and when I have time I can always go back and watch the other one's. I started out to writing down the names of the FlossTube and then seeing when they post the next one and then I write it down on the calendar but now I have a lot of them to watch that I lost track on who does what. Some do weekly, every two weeks, 3 weeks and every month. I am going to start a full coverage piece for the very first time and it is called Moonlight Owls and I am doing it on 14-count aida. I am going to start it in the middle like I always do and just pretend it is a regular cross stitch pattern and it will just take me longer to stitch. In August I will be starting the Summer Quaker on 20-count aida. I will be starting in the upper left hand corner so wish me luck. Happy Stitching.

I highly recommend Yosemite Natl Park. AWEsome doesn't cover it. For flosstube, I do the oldest first. I found myself a week "behind", but was able to catch up on a camping trip. 😊 Just one video at a time. I'm working on Christmas Trio 2023 from Puntinipuntini. About hakf way done my 2 of the 3.
Yes, Yosemite is on the list and several others. Most are just really far away so it will take some planning! That Christmas trio is so cute! How are you finishing? Are you doing it in one piece or 3 smaller?

I'm lucky enough that i can listen to/watch flosstube in the background everyday at work. The usual flow is to go through my subscription list first thing and add everyone that's posted the day before to my 'watch later' playlist and then let that run through out the day. (So on Monday I'm watching folks who released a video on Sunday, and so on and so forth.) Right now my subbies are fairly balanced so I get through about as many as I add. However, now that I've just gotten back from a vacation where I had less time to watch, I'm doing what other do and watching the favorites, skipping others, all the while adding the new posts to my watch later. Currently I'm about 5 days behind, but that will even back up pretty quickly.
Wow, that is awesome! I'm going to make a note of that idea and make that happen as soon as possible! Also, are you going to give a retreat update??? Totally worth an 8 hour drive : ) Looking forward to your next one!

I have a Flosstube watch later list and sometimes organize it by shortest to longest video and just have a night where I watch and stitch! Plus, I speed ya’ll up to 1.5x speed. 😂
Ha! I didn't know you could speed it up. I just found it! That will definitely help. I do scroll through to find one(s) that will work for my time frame. How exciting, thanks Rainey!
@@RenewingStitches lol some people do not work well sped up, but for the most part it’s okay and I don’t notice after awhile.
I just watch the newest Flosstube on my feed, it’s near impossible to watch them all there are so many these days
