- After arriving at T&P Station in Fort Worth, the train reverses direction to return to Union Station in Dallas. I film on the intermediate deck, from the front "Railfan" window. Enjoy the view!
Recorded with Sony HDR CX-440 and Zoom H1 on 4/17/2018
I'm a tram and I approve this video! Ding ding! Awesome footage

Hi nice video,I love the TRE Its my favorite commuter train in TX. Good Job.
Glad you enjoyed! The TRE is definitely fun to ride!
@Frank Renteria because the tickets sometimes allow to ride TRE so thats why they give it for free its just like dart but you have to buy the ticket for tre and dart if not texrail too
I would like to say thank you for making this cab ride I've been waiting for a cab ride in a TRE cab control car with a mechanical bell all the Trinity Railway Express Cab car ride videos so far had the electronic Bells but thank you very much for making this video I give you a thumbs up👍👍
I'll be honest with ya, I had no idea this was special until just now! Glad you enjoyed it!!
@@NTxRE there are few units that have mechanical bells and others have the e Bells it was nice that engineer gave a lot of horn blowing I wonder why people were out working on the track
Cab cars 1002-1006 are all mechanical bells. And 1007-1009 are E Bell
@@TRE-Productions Thanks it's also noted that mostly they don't have that window open as much as they used to they have the blinds down most the time unfortunately
Very Nice Video! TRE is one of the few railroads that offers the "railfan window."
I think it's the feature of the Bombardier bi-level cab car design I've seen a few cab ride videos on Caltrain baby bullet trains and I think a few rides on New Mexico Rail Runner or any other commuter railroad that utilizes Bombardier bi-level coaches
1005, 1006, and 1009 now are blocked
NJT is the worst. Their equipment has no railfan windows and almost all the vestibule windows are blocked.
Nice that I can get a look at BOTH TRE and TexRail, thanks to you :)
I'm glad I've got what you're looking for!
At 5:00 there is an Amtrak P42DC just sitting there, what is it doing?
No idea! I wish I knew
2:14-2:17 1 Norfolk Southern, 2 Canadian National and 2 SD90MAC-H!
That dislike is a train hater
Good for them. If they're not willing to talk to me then I won't worry too much about why they dislike something of mine.
@@NTxRE lol I'm gonna say this now
You're funny
nice video
Thanks!
Next time you do a video on the DART could you do a front seat ride on the blue line from Union Station to Ledbetter station? Because closer to Ledbetter the train presses traffic light Crossings with horn blowing
Assuming I get some time in the future to film, I could definitely try! My schedule has been packed lately, so it's been difficult to get out and film. That being said, usually operators on DART are pretty antsy about people filming out the front window, so it might take a couple tries.
Holy crap you caught 2 CN units! Those are rare as hell out here!
NickAlvizo TheGoAnimator Hah! Glad I did then! I really only know about the transit side of stuff. The freight trains are fascinating, but I definitely know nothing about them.
The BNSF Locomotive at Belt Line Bridge
Lots of track switchers...
Will this train line be electrified anytime soon?
Unfortunately I don't think it will. It's shared rail with freight, and I can't see that electrifying in the US for a long time sadly!
@@NTxRE It should be electrified. And seriously, is it just me, or would the Super Light Rail Vehicles be faster on those tracks? Those curves are way too sharp for those commuter rail cars.
I'd bet the equipment the TRE uses is running near it's maximum capability. I don't know how their ridership numbers are though, if they'd justify any further upgrades.
