Last pixel 8 dimming down in sunlight after 5 min making it useless. Do you know if there is a different story this time?

I know exactly what you're talking about! I had the same experience, but from my experience with the Pixel 9 Pro, the dimming isn't as harsh now because of the massively bright display.
