British Airways: London Heathrow to Aberdeen - Club Europe A320

Onboard a British Airways flight to Aberdeen from London Heathrow. Once again onboard a A320. The flight was a great flight, with a smooth cruise out of Heathrow and up the west of the UK before flying over Edinburgh and descending into Aberdeen.

British Airways are deploying their A380 on the Frankfurt and Madrid routes from November the 8th till December the 2nd, you can already book tickets though. No idea if you are interested.

Thanks for the heads up, I did look at them however I'm off to Norway in a few weeks instead so can't make the dates suit.

Not sure if you’re aware but you caught a very rare take off from runway 09L. Due to regulations in relation to noise, LHR does not use 09L for departures unless in exceptional circumstances. I have footage from an 09L take off on 13/02/21 & it was the first time I’d ever experienced it and I am a frequent flyer to ABZ for over 18 years. I asked the Captain at the end and apparently some works on 27L/09R had overrun. Captain said it was his & the First Officer’s first time taking off from 09L too in over 20 years and they were very excited. It was a shame that the cloud level was so low.
