Bass Cover of Chet Baker's Solo on 'I Fall in Love Too Easily'.
I've had my Fretless for a few months and wanted to record something with it so this felt like a great piece to start with. Chet, Miles and Paul Desmond are my go-to trio whenever I want to transcribe a Horn solo so I might upload more from them in the future.
For those interested in the Bass it's an Ibanez Portamento SRF706.
I love the sound of the Piezo pickup soloed with the mids slightly boosted so that's the tone I've gone with in this.
It sounds more natural and it feels like the bass responds much more to how you play than traditional pickups do.
