LOVE the sound of bucket mutes! NICE bass trombone work!
I simply LIKE this band. When I was in college (60 years ago) our college jazz band wasn't this good. But back then we didn't have all the electronic amplification available here; I had to play a lot harder to be heard. Even so, we had a lot of fun.
My College Jazz Band Took the Downbeat No.1 Band in College Division and I played lead and solo trumpet and just want to let all you know "WHAT A FANTASTIC BAND" THIS IS!!! KUDO TO ALL THE PLAYERS AND TO YOUR DIRCTOR.....I WAS PARTICULARLY IMPRESSED BY ALL YOUR SOLOISTS AND TIGHT ENSEMBLE WORK!!! Clarke Terry (now deceased) when I played with him always said "KEEP, KEEP, KEEP ON KEEPIN' ON!!" MY BEST TO ALL! JOHN PEDERSON

Jesus henry.... no need to flex on us that hard
MAD trombone solo. He killed it.
Added note 1 of the better music education university I’ve heard 👏👏👏👏👏
I'm a trumpet player and it's rare that I WANT to listen to, or even really enjoy, a trombone solo (yes...Bias plays an obvious role to the instrument we happen to play). But I gotta say, this was damn awesome.......I mean.......For a trombone solo, at least (-; J/k,
great band,, loved the trombone cadenza :)
How do the saxophonists achieve that cool muted sound?
2nd trumpet is really hot
