It turns out that it's extremely hard to find Synthwave that features Nordic folk instruments, but thankfully Neon Odin came to the rescue! This mix was rather challenging to assemble, but keep an eye out for FRR references in some of the track titles. I'd love to hear what you think in the comments.

... During a deployment on the Clan front, our Lance ran across a Rasalhauge MechWarrior who was the only one left from his unit after some heavy fighting. Despite their traditional dislike for mercenaries, we got along following a few kegs of mead, & he fit in with the rest of us just fine. Of note was his Mech: a highly customized Axeman. He had stripped away the AC/20 & ammo for a pair of Large Pulse Lasers & if rumor could be believed a Triple Strength Myomer. He would announce his presence by opening an engagement with his ER Large Laser & then charge right in--crying out in some old Nordic language over the external speakers, before engaging in close-quarters. Quite the sight as you can imagine!
.. Alas, he would not be with us long enough, as after our 9th engagement, just before we were to rotate out, he would fall in battle--a massive explosion marking his funeral pyre. Valhalla has received a worthy warrior indeed... All Hail! 😎🤘

A nice bit of lore is that after the founding of the Rasalhague Dominion by remnants of the FRR and Clan Ghost Bear, the Miraborg bloodname was added to the bloodnames of Clan Ghost Bear.

As a former pilot for the FRR in the old MWO days, this brings me joy. Unbridled fury and aggression poured over the Clan's mechs, overwhelming them with close-quarter combat and brawling, without fear, but fury, to protect our countryfolk.
I've been waiting for you to do an FRR mix and it does not disappoint.
Really nice mix, it really shows just how much of an identity the mix has contrasting against other mixes, the strong Nordic theme and more esoteric vibes, great stuff. And always love a bit of Brigador at the end, my favourite track~.

Fantastic mix! For norden for det gamle og trofaste! Ghost Bears are alright, share family, tradition, honor, warrior culture 🤝🤘 But F Hjalmer for stabby Lars. Hjalmer is Alarics fooltool. Dominions Divided did injustice to what the Rasalhague Dominion IS and stand for. I say no more, possibly saved you money you can support Jason Skye with instead 😉
It's bitter sweet knowing the lore of Rasalhague. They only lasted for 20 years before the clans but they got absorbed into the ghost bear family so there's that

@@JasonSkyedefinitely seconding one for the Taurians. Fast, heavy mixes with a underlying fury behind them would fit well. At least the title would be easy: CONCORDAT.
Though I might be biased, I did just finish a Taurian KGC-005. Great mix here with our favorite spicy Swedes, fierce and loyal. It's little wonder the Bears settled in the region after the Clan Invasion.

This Feels So Damn Freeing!
Amazing mix, Jason! I'm listening to this and thinking about the Blood of Kerensky Trilogy as well as Mercenary's Star, both of which feature characters from Rasahague. A standout character is Tyra Miraborg, who in the Battleof Radstadt, flew her fighter right into the bridge of the Dire Wolf, flagship of the Clan invasion force, in a kamikaze attack. She killed ilKhan Leo Showers, and ultimately bought the Inner Sphere the time they needed to regroup and come together against the Clans. Tyra Miraborg even made it into the Clans' Book of Remembrance for her heroic sacrifice, and the Miraborg bloodname was claimed by Clan Ghost Bear.
I'm the 399th like, my favorite. Also, you're still an all-star my dude
