Ezekiel 46 adds that the Prince will bring other sacrifices/offerings on the Sabbath and New Moons. Thus, the sacrificial system is prophesied to continue in the future! Thank you for making me think and research what the TANAKH says!
@@KononR-gz4vo I had the same thought until I read Ezekiel 45:17 through Ezekiel 46. Honestly, I had not paid much attention to those verses until he mentioned them in the video. Sin offerings are included in those verses. It was a surprise for me also.
I've always understood that Ezekiel is prophesiing the Second Temple, the one restored by Ezra and Nehemiah. How do we know he's talking about the Third Temple?
@@dianastevenson131 Third temple identification is based upon the dimensions given and the presence of the Prince figure in this verses from Ezekiel. I took the time to read these verses after Ezekiel was mentioned in the video. Since I did a quick read, it is possible I missed some details. Read Ezekiel starting in chapter 40 to gain a better understanding for yourself.🙂

Rabbi Tovia is always a theological joy especially when bringing light to the gentiles.💙
Not just about religion, I notice more how just about everything we say and do is just projection. Ultimately, what can we understand about such things. I'm a Christian, I continue to struggled with issues like the Holy Spirit and how we can still not recognize his voice when Christians contradict each other. Yet, I cannot deny the transformation that took place when I gave my life to Jesus Christ, though I might not understand such things, I have been freed from my past life in darkness and have indeed become a new creation in Christ and more and more do I see the Truth in his Gospels. And should I not understand anymore than what little I believe now, this Grace, if you knew my situation, is enough for me. And in my quest to know everything I could about my new found belief, and at 49, more and more do I see how we are all the same and how the Gospels of Jesus Christ is truly meant for everyone. To me, this in itself is a miracle that cannot be explained. I find no fault in Jesus Christ and I find only Truth and Wisdom, Love, Mercy, Forgiveness and Grace, Protection, Comfort, Hope, Guidance and of course Life itself.

When we celebrate Pesach each year, it doesn’t mean that our neighbor’s son will die at midnight. The role of the Messiah in the Tanakh goes far beyond being a great king, and, similarly, I have rarely seen a study on Zechariah 12:10, whether by Jews or Christians. May Hashem bless us and guide us in our study of the holy scriptures.
@Pierre-g6r oh the excuses. Madness. If blood sacrifices were cancelled nothing need happen. As if 'the Jews' knew and heard nothing of the events surrounding them in the upheaval of Roman occupation. Animal blood sacrifices were *only* for lesser sin/deviations from the Mitzvot. Not for *all* sins on a global scale. The animals used for sacrifice had to be a species that was deemed clean/kosher. Humans are not a kosher species for sacraficial slaughter or consumption. Therefore there was no human "sacrifice". The death of someone on a crucifix was nothing more than a Roman method of torturing someone to death. Many hundreds of thousands of people were killed this way. So its not unique to someone or anybody that caused societal disruption under Roman rule; irrespective of a small group of people who nominated a particular *someone* as their candidate as an annointed person such as a tutor, head clansman etc. The deception of these unholy teachings and the people who peddle them is excruciating.
In the New Testament, several verses suggest that Jesus is distinct from God, indicating he is not God himself. For instance, in John 14:28, Jesus says, "The Father is greater than I." In Matthew 24:36, he mentions that only the Father knows the day and hour of the end times, not the Son. Additionally, in John 17:3, Jesus prays to the Father, referring to him as "the only true God," and in John 20:17, he calls the Father "my God." These passages collectively imply a distinction between Jesus and God, supporting the view that Jesus is not God but rather his messenger
Sorry but i hate these comments. Who cares what NT says. I really dont care about what those 4 idiots wrote about yeshua also Paul. They denied the law of moses. I wont believe anything what they say. There are also parts where it says FATHER AND SON are not divided or who denies son denies father etc. Long live Judaism
There is a suggestion that is exactly who Jesus was in real life: a nice guy, a Jewish scholar who knew how to speak to the common people and reach them and motivate them to do better and be better. But he fell out of favor with the Powers That Be because he caused a disturbance in the Temple, and for that he was sought by Pilate to make an example of him. The stories suggest that Jesus caused that disturbance in the days shortly before Passover, one of the Three Seasons in the Jewish year when all the adult males would be expected to go to Jerusalem. That means there were men of wealth and renown from all over the civilized world who came from far away just to observe that Biblical commandment. While visiting Jerusalem, these men went to the Temple and heard of a disturbance in which some loon was flogging people and knocking over their tables in which they had been counting and weighing out golden coins from all over the world. They would hear that the man who had committed this act of violence was well known and yet Pilate and Herod did nothing to put down that insurrection against Rome. If Pilate does nothing because he's afraid of the Jews, then he looks weak, and foreign powers, hearing of his weakness, will attack and take Jerusalem away from Rome, and Pilate will be recalled to explain to his "god" why he let the Capital City be taken. If Pilate did nothing and Rome finds out, they might think Pilate WANTED Rome to lose the Gateway to the Fertile Crescent. So Pilate had motive to want Jesus dead. Contrary to popular myth, the Jews, including the Pharisees, had far less motive to want Jesus dead. None of them would really have complained that Jesus was healing people, and then would doubly not complain he was healing people on the Sabbath. The Pharisees would have recited to anyone who asked the Teaching that, to save the life of a Jew, even the laws of sabbath can be ignored. They actually would have HELPED Jesus with his healings and sent their students and the families of their students for his healings. The verse in the gospels that claims they asked him why he was healing people on the sabbath is evidence the person who wrote the line never lived in Jerusalem a day in his life for his ignorance of the Jewish teachings to be so myopic. But Paul found it ridiculously easy to convince NON-Jews that Jesus was able to hear such a thing. These non-Jews would see Jesus as another iteration of Mythras or Appalonius of Tyanna or something, and easily accept that Jesus was the son of a god like Hercules or the current Ceasar of the day. But the Church in Jerusalem, under James and Peter, NEVER would have elevated Jesus to the status of a god, for they would know that a god the son and a god the father would be two gods, not one. The argument in the Church over the status of Jesus would rage for hundreds of years, even after the doctrine of the Trinity and one god in three persons kind of terminology became the church and Christianity the official religion by law of the Roman empire.
@@matttillman7430I’m not trying to be argumentative, but I feel fairly certain that whoever Jesus was he was not such a nice guy.. it seems pretty obvious that he had a vendetta against the Beit Din, and in fact, he seems to have declared a private war against the Rabbi’s, as if to even trivialize (even make null and void) the Oral Torah. He also put private interpretations on everything written in the Hebrew Bible.. And he was far from being a ray of light to gentile world, unless they were supporting him and his movement, or building synagogues. The only possible redeeming quality he MAY have had was that wanted to revolt against the Roman occupation.
@@noahroad6577 I enjoyed your comment. Claims of Jesus and His Teachings Vendetta Against the Beit Din (Jewish Courts) and Rabbis: Criticism of Pharisees and Scribes: Matthew 23:13-36: Jesus pronounces a series of "woes" on the scribes and Pharisees, criticizing them for hypocrisy and legalism. Mark 7:1-13: Jesus rebukes the Pharisees and scribes for placing human traditions above God's commandments. Conflict in the Temple: Matthew 21:12-13: Jesus overturns the tables of the money changers in the temple, accusing them of turning a house of prayer into a den of robbers. Jesus' Approach to Gentiles: Initial Focus on Israel: Matthew 15:24: Jesus states, "I was sent only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel." Inclusivity in His Ministry: Matthew 8:5-13: Jesus heals the servant of a Roman centurion, praising his faith. John 4:1-42: Jesus speaks with the Samaritan woman at the well, leading many Samaritans to believe in Him. Revolting Against Roman Occupation: Teachings on Authority and Peace: Matthew 22:15-22: Jesus teaches to "render to Caesar the things that are Caesar's," implying a recognition of Roman authority. Matthew 5:9: In the Beatitudes, Jesus blesses the peacemakers, indicating a preference for peace over revolt. Ambiguous Statements on Rome: Luke 13:1-3: Jesus comments on Pilate's massacre of Galileans without inciting rebellion. Jesus' Character and Actions Criticisms and Conflicts: Matthew 23: Jesus' direct and harsh rebukes to the religious leaders can be seen as combative and challenging to the established religious authority. John 2:13-22: His cleansing of the temple indicates a forceful approach to perceived corruption. Positive Actions and Teachings: Compassion and Healing: Matthew 14:14: Jesus is moved by compassion and heals the sick. Luke 7:11-17: Jesus raises a widow's son from the dead out of compassion. Teachings on Love and Forgiveness: Matthew 5:43-48: Jesus teaches to love one's enemies and pray for those who persecute you. Luke 23:34: Jesus asks for forgiveness for those who crucify Him, "Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do." Summary While Jesus did engage in sharp criticism of the religious leaders of His time and had moments of intense confrontation, particularly with the Pharisees and the temple authorities, He also emphasized compassion, love, and forgiveness. His interactions with Gentiles and outcasts, as well as His teachings on peace, indicate a more complex character than merely a revolutionary or antagonist to Jewish leaders. His approach to the Roman occupation was more nuanced, focusing on spiritual rather than political liberation. This balanced perspective shows the multifaceted nature of Jesus as portrayed in the New Testament, reflecting both His challenges to the status quo and His overarching message of love and redemption.
Romans 3:23-31 [23]For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; [24]Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: [25]Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; [26]To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus. [27]Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith. [28]Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law. [29]Is he the God of the Jews only? is he not also of the Gentiles? Yes, of the Gentiles also: [30]Seeing it is one God, which shall justify the circumcision by faith, and uncircumcision through faith. [31]Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law. Zechariah 12:9-14 [9]And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem. [10]And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn. [11]In that day shall there be a great mourning in Jerusalem, as the mourning of Hadadrimmon in the valley of Megiddon. [12]And the land shall mourn, every family apart; the family of the house of David apart, and their wives apart; the family of the house of Nathan apart, and their wives apart; [13]The family of the house of Levi apart, and their wives apart; the family of Shimei apart, and their wives apart; [14]All the families that remain, every family apart, and their wives apart. Revelation 1:7-8 [7]Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen. [8]I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.
Jesus never quoted from the NT. That said, show me from the Tanakh (which was the only scripture available at the time of Jesus) where God said that a Machiach would die for sins. Besides such a claim calls God a liar. God is in covenant with the Jews. Nowhere in the covenant states such a heinous claim that a person must be sacrificed. God passed through the covenant pieces after he brought a deep sleep on Abraham signifying that even if he (Abraham and his descendants) did not keep the covenant, God would. God never annulled or divorced himself from His covenant promises or His covenant people. Any one making a claim such as yours is not following God, but a spirit of deception. Problems about Jesus? Consider the state of the world throughout history and certainly now. He has never been the "problem." We are. A sacrifice that is honored by God had to be made. History will repeat because man honors himself more than honoring God. Amos chapter 5 comes to mind. Praying for Israel.
The character in the mostly fictional nt probably never existed. Per the nt, however, the Jesus character was not the messiah because he taught contrary to Torah on dozens of occasions. If Jesus did exist, he was an ordinary man who was conceived in the usual manner. If your mom is not Jewish, repent directly to G’d, makes amends, and live by the seven laws given to everyone in Genesis. 🕊❤️
@AdaraBalabusta Show me in Genesis the seven laws given to everyone? If that's true then the law would have been given to all people too because it did include people who came into the land. Everywhere where the Torah goes the law should follow. Jews believe they are to be a light to the nations, that would mean they are supposed to spread the word of God and yet they won't do it. See they don't even honor the verses they apply to themselves.

My question to Tovia and company is, since in the Torah itself, the Messiah is supposed to come into Jerusalem, lowly and meek, riding a donkey, when will this be fulfilled? Secondly, HOW and WHEN will this Messiah be pierced in the hands and feet and hung on a tree, specifically, in public, in a public execution, for the payment of the sin of the world in the future as prophesied in their holy books?
I have learned more in one Sermon, by Rabbi Singer. Then I have learned in 25 years, in my Baptist Church. Rabbi Singer is truly a blessing to Mankind from the Most High🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Pity then that he is misleading you. Tovia stated that the Messiah offered for his own sins and then for the sins of the people. That contradicts the teachings of Rashi an emminent rabbi and well regarded among the Jewish people . Rashi on Ezekiel 34:17 On the prince I say that this “prince” as well as every [mention of] “the prince” in this section means the High Priest; but I heard in the name of Rabbi Menahem that it means the king. So Rashi says that the prince is the high priest, not as Tovia teaches, the Messiah. Tovia wants you to believe that this is the Messiah because that links the messiah with sin, and therefore the messiah cannot be Jesus. I have never heard such blatent disrespect towards the person of Jesus than what comes out of Tovias mouth, he should be ashamed of himself, and to think he is regarded as a teacher of scripture. You baptist church must have been really pathetic if you think you are learning truth from Tovia Singer. He also states that the gospels were written after the destruction of the temple. How come then that this is never mentioned in the gospels?
@@springtown24 70 AD happened way after the times written about in the gospels, so they wouldn’t have mentioned it in there. And Jesus is High Priest, according to the NT. I believe in him too, but am curious about this passage. I used to not like Rabbi Singer too. But even if I don’t agree with him, I admit that he knows more about the New Testament teachings than most “Christians”.
@@ChristianHaner-d3h The reference to Jesus as high priest has nothing to do with the high priest in Ezekiels vision. The book of Hebrews shows that as the Jews had their high priest even so believers in Yeshua have a greater high priest who entered into heaven itself by his own blood. Having offered one sacrifice for sins for all time, which never needs to be repeated, so Jesus is not the high priest in Ezekiels temple, that high priest will have children, and also offer first for his own sins, then for the sins of the people. This cannot therefore be Jesus. Heb 9:12 Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us. 13 For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh: 14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?
@@springtown24 why would the gospels say that they were written after? There's a lot of things that the gospels don't say. The new testament books are written in the style of stories, not historical eyewitness accounts like in a personal journal, as there is no "I" language from the authors themselves. That points to the books not being written in the time the events in the stories occurred in. I don't identify with any religion but a proper reading of the new testament without bias or prior belief will yield that Jesus was not God.
When Messiah was crucified, there was an earthquake , causing the heavy curtain separating the Holy of Holies to be ripped apart from top to bottom; opening up that space. Who repaired the curtain, (if it was)? And what were the implications of that occurrence?
Thats a very flawed question : " If Jesus is the final atonement why were Jews making sacrifice years after, and why were Jews visiting the temple? " 1. Many Jews especially the Jewish Leaders did not believe in Jesus as the final atonement so off course they continued with sin offerings. ( belief vs fact is subjective here) 2. Why did the disciples visit the temples often? Because they were still Jewish. The Messiah movement was at first only a sect from Judaism. Yes those apart of the Messiah movement did congregate in houses due to persecution..
What he's getting at is that in Luke/Acts the apostles don't seem to be aware that Jesus' death was an atonement for sins. Which is why they continue to go to the temple after his death in those books. And If you read closely there are other things that indicate this as well 1.They only go to the temple in Luke/Acts. In the other gospels they return to Galilee after Jesus Death. 2. There's an extra toast with wine in the last supper. The new covenant/Eucharist toast seems to have been added in next to another one the was likely the original. 3. The curtain tears while Jesus is still alive. Not after his death 4. The passage about his death being a ransom for many is removed from Luke 5. He never says that he will rebuild the temple in three days without hands like he does in John. In Luke it says that he was falsely accused of saying that.
@@Madlands69 Actually, they went to the temple to preach. The instructions were to the Jews first. Even Saul got that. The only Jews today who are living free of their sins are the born again true Jews. Shalom

The question was good. The answer was interesting, maybe a bit stretched. From all the Christian comments below, it looks like many listeners come not with an open mind but to repeat all the Christian dogma. Christians love to say that Jews are blinded or angry or...and yet many of the Christian comments show considerable anger for the Rabbi and his straightforward views. Then there are the remarks that say that Rabbi Singer should just be Jewish and leave Christian belief alone. Reasonable point, perhaps, yet we see from all the outraged comments here that Christians - many - can never stop aggressively proselytizing Jews.
Because the Messiah comes from the Jewish people and teaching. Would you go to Chinese people to learn how to read an Italian cookbook? No go to the source.
@@micmars67 I think you're misusing your analogy because in this case, the New Testament is more like a Spanish novel and a rabbi is a Latin language speaker. The cessation of the scarlet cloth turning white at the Temple door after Jesus' crucifixion, as recorded in the Talmud (Yoma 39a), serves as a significant corroboration of New Testament claims. It suggests that after Jesus' death, further sacrifices were no longer accepted by God. This aligns with the Christian belief, as articulated in the Epistle to the Hebrews (Hebrews 9-10), that Jesus' sacrifice was the ultimate and final atonement for sins, rendering the traditional Temple sacrifices obsolete. Thus, the inability of the scarlet cloth to turn white symbolizes the shift from the Old Covenant of continual sacrifices to the New Covenant established through Jesus' sacrificial death.
@Pierre-g6r That's jesus garbage will only be disappointment. There is absolutely no, nothing zero evidence that jesus was in the very beginning with God. A "word" is any lying spirit. @Pierre-g6r a "spoken word" by definition, is a vague statement. A word is potentially any lying spirit. You worship a spoken word? Then, you can worship any lying spirit. God obviously spoke. Some spirit amongst may is not significant at all.
I would love to hear Torah, Davar Elohim and the prophets being taught re forbidden human sacrifice. Beginning with Abraham and Isaac, the ultimate example, HaShem provided a ram instead. It is written that no man may die for the sin of another Deut 24:16; Ezek 18: 20. Sacrifices were offered for unintentional sin only (note Lev 5:11, flour , not blood was accepted too); Torah deals with intentional sin. A great study. Be encouraged to study! PS animals were sacrificed on an altar, not a Roman cross.
PS. The flour was mingeled with the blood on the altar, for a memorial of the person who offered it. So you have the flour mingeled with atonong blood.
It is mentioned in the gospels that people were aware that they were living in the times of the messiah. The apostles were meeting in the temple Courts daily in order to preach the Messiah to the fellow Jews. The animals sacrificed were not for sin, but were gift offerings to maintain the temple and the priesthood. The temple was not destroyed when Jesus was crucified because Jesus whole purpose for coming was to warn his people to prepare for what was about to happen. Time was allowed for the Jews to prepare and convert from their sins to obedience to god. When God warned mankind that the flood was coming, he didn't do it immediately after the warning, he gave Noah time to prepare the ark and get his family and the animals aborted, and he gave the rest of mankind time to hear the warning and imitate what Noah was doing. The same occurred here with Jesus.

All my years in the church (Pentecostal-evangelical setting), i noticed they don't read the prophecy books (Isaiah, Jeremiah, Obadiah, Ezekiel and co.). They usually use some of the ethics of the Septuagint, then the fascinating stories. The prophecies that are read are usually interpreted to Jesus, the end times and Jesus' second coming and cherry picked and used as prayer points against "enemies". It's mostly the New Testament that is used and even then it's still cherry picked and interpreted to suit each denomination's ideals and dogma.

Yes, since it is a sign of humility and respect for men before God, it is certainly alright in your home, in the homes of Jews and other Noahides, and in synagogues, yeshivas, etc. In public, the Noahide should use best judgment about his optional use of a kipah or a cap. For instance, it would be a desecration of God's Name for a Noahide to openly wear a kipah into a non-kosher restaurant, or while eating non-kosher food in public, or while working outside his home or driving on the Jewish Sabbath or Festivals, etc., because people would mistake him for a transgressing Jew. In situations like that, he can wear a cap or a hat instead, if he wants to keep his head covered.
EXCERPT from Evidence Unseen… regarding Paul and the Temple sacrifice… “However, nothing is mentioned about Paul performing an animal sacrifice-only the cutting of his hair. It could be that there wasn’t an animal sacrifice involved here. After all, the entire book of Hebrews considers the return to animal sacrifices as directly in contrast to God’s will in the new covenant (Heb. 10:10, 14, 18).” and in conclusion… “We simply do not have enough detail about the nature of this sacrifice and purification ceremony to make a judgment about Paul’s decision. For one, the Nazarite Vow was a “special offering,” not a standard animal sacrifice. If an animal sacrifice was included in this ceremony, then we could resolutely say that Paul made a mistake in trying to contextualize this far. However, it’s also possible that the animal sacrifice was left out, and the four men merely brought their hair as the sacrifice. Whatever the case, God seems to have interrupted this event, perhaps showing that Paul shouldn’t have put himself in this situation in the first place.“ Tabor, in my opinion, doesn’t fully understand a great portion of the Holy Bible. It seems to me calling Jesus a sacrifice that makes atonement, as Christianity does, is completely misunderstanding the nature of that sacrifice. Am I wrong, or wasn't repentance and restitution necessary before one could bring a sin sacrifice? Doesn't one need to be in a state of spiritual purity to bring any sacrifice? Wouldn't that imply that one would already be forgiven by the repentance, making sacrifice a celebration of one's return to spiritual equilibrium rather than a means of placating haShem into forgiving one, whether that sacrifice was a proper unblemished goat or bullock or some fakakte form of theological cannibalism (the Eucharist)?
The Eucharist does seem to be a form of symbolic cannibalism. It is bewildering how this does not raise red flags among Christians. Also, the Church in Peru copied the pagan rituals of the ancient Mayan civilization.

Gethsemane was the place that they/jews cornered Jesus and accused him of stealing trees or olive. Those days the punishment for the theft was crushing the hands of the thief, in the case of Jesus he was tied to a Cross and they used screw olive presses to disable him so he couldn't help the homeless to build wooden cabins. After the torture and smashing his hands, they realized that Jesus and his followers will fight and destroy them, so they killed him and hid his body.
As is said, you do not desire a sacrifice or a burnt offering, but a repentant heart. Seems Ezekiel 45 is there to eliminate the possibility of such a claim as Paul has made. However, ultimately, no sacrifice is or was necessary. My ears have been opened! God Bless!
Yeshua is an image of ourselves, who from the beginning we was crucified by man to be set free from man, awakened. Jesus (Adam) was awakened until he was crucified by man.... GOD made man in his image, a reflection of heaven and earth, the man in the mirror.
The devil always mixes a little truth with his lies. Just enough to convince us that sin is ok. Sin is never ok. The only remedy is forgiveness and atonement of our sins. We have all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. None are righteous, no not one. According to Hebrew law, there can be no remission of sins except by the shedding of blood. Therefore, Israel is guilty as charged, and ever since the day that Jesus Christ was crucified, the sacrificial blood of bulls and goats and rams ceased. The reason being is that Jesus is and was the ultimate sacrifice. He is the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of all mankind once for all and forever. He was blameless and sinless. Without spot or blemish. His redemption and salvation was spoken of by the Old Testament Prophets. ISAIAH 52 & 53 and ZECHARIAH 12:10 And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me (JESUS) whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.
a good question but human sacrifice was and is an abomination no man can die for another man’s sin plus the roman were murdering thousands of jews by crucifixion they weren’t killing him as a sacrifice and that’s definitely not how a sacrifice was done

Do people really think Jesus interpreted the Torah as implying trinitarianism? If he was a faithful Jew, he knew that the Torah says God is not a man and a man is not God. If he was not a faithful Jew, he certainly was not a candidate for the Jewish messiah. The first recorded mention of the doctrine of a trinity was by Tertullian (a non-Jew), who was born around 150-160 CE. He defended his theology against Praxeas (another non-Jew), although he noted that the majority of the believers in his day found issue with his doctrine. The concept of a trinity can be seen as developing significantly during the first four centuries by the Church Fathers in reaction to other non-Jewish theological interpretations. I know this might be challenging for people if they have been indoctrinated since they were a child, or if they just don't think they're allowed to use their God given rational mind to help guide their life.

As a Christian, I believe that Hebrews 10 clearly shows that the sacrifice of Jesus is the ultimate and final atonement for sin, making further sacrifices unnecessary. Here's how we understand this: Hebrews 10:1-4 explains that the Law, with its repeated sacrifices, could never fully take away sins. These sacrifices served as a reminder of sin but were ultimately insufficient. They pointed to the need for a more perfect sacrifice. In Hebrews 10:10, it says, "we have been made holy through the sacrifice of the body of Jesus Christ once for all." This verse emphasizes that Jesus' sacrifice was a one-time event that accomplished what repeated sacrifices under the Law could not. It was final and complete. Hebrews 10:12-14 further explains that after Jesus offered one sacrifice for sins for all time, He sat down at the right hand of God, signifying the completion of His atoning work. It states, "For by one offering He has perfected for all time those who are sanctified." This highlights the sufficiency and finality of His sacrifice. Finally, Hebrews 10:18 concludes by stating, "Now where there is forgiveness of these things, there is no longer any offering for sin." This underscores that Jesus' sacrifice brought complete forgiveness, eliminating the need for further sacrifices. In summary, Hebrews 10 teaches that Jesus' sacrifice was sufficient and final, rendering the old sacrificial system obsolete. Jesus fulfilled the Law and established a new covenant through His death and resurrection. This is why Christians believe that no further sacrifices are necessary for the forgiveness of sins.
God told Moses that the innocent shall not die for the wicked. It’s also written a father cannot die for the sins of the son, and a son cannot die for the sins of the father. The crystal clear prophecies of the Old Testament reveal the messiah will be married and have children. He will reinstate animal sacrifice. He will offer sacrifices for his own sins. The idea of a son of god bringing atonement through murder is completely at war with the messiah revealed by the God of Israel. The temple was still standing and the Jews had not been kicked out of the holy land when JC was alive. How could he be the messiah when these key events hadn’t even occurred yet. The authenticity of Moses is based on the public revelation at Sinai: God revealed Himself to the entire nation of Israel, at least three million people, and proclaimed before them the Ten Commandments. The entire Jewish people personally experienced that revelation, each individual in effect becoming a prophet, and each one verifying the experience of the other. With their own eyes they saw, and with their own ears they heard, as the Divine voice spoke to them, and also they heard God saying, "Moses, Moses, go tell them the following ..." They did not receive the occurrence of that event and accept it as some claim or tradition of an individual, but they experienced it themselves. That public revelation, therefore, authenticated the bona fide status of Moses as a prophet of God, and the Divine origin of the instructions he recorded in the Torah. That, and that alone, is the criterion for the belief in, and acceptance of, Moses and his teachings, as God said to him, "I will come unto you in a thick cloud that the people may hear when I speak with you and will also believe in you forever" (Exodus 19:9).

A practically divinely ordained figure who looks like a man but is capable of extraordinary miraculous feats who has come to save mankind from evil and who stands for goodness and righteousness. Is it any wonder he was conceived by a couple of Jews during a politically tense time (especially for Jews)? He even has “el” in his true name: Kal-el!
Yeshua is in fact greater than Superman, but in some senses he is a super man, why? Because he is God in the flesh! Blasphemous? Idolatrous? Should I follow Noahide rules? If you follow the rules of sound biblical exegesis you will discover (by reading my post above), that the host gives a Cat Womanly response to the caller by misquoting what Hebrews actually says at 6:44 into the video.

The period between the Old and New Testaments can be seen as a forty-year transition between the old covenant, which had been broken by the people, and the promised New Covenant. This transitional phase culminated in the destruction of the Temple in 70 AD, an event Jesus prophesied. The destruction marked the definitive end of the old covenant. Under the old covenant, Israel's continued sins necessitated ongoing punishment, making it impossible for God to preserve Israel under its terms. Jesus bore the curse meant for the people, who were under the curse of the old covenant, requiring their continuous punishment. The New Covenant, therefore, was established to provide a means for God's people to endure and find true atonement, as the old covenant could no longer sustain them.
If Jesus existed, he did not prophesy anything. The alleged “prophecy” was not recorded anywhere until after the event, and the alleged “prophecy” was not even 100% correct. Therefore, he was neither a prophet nor a deity. If Jesus existed, he was not the messiah because he taught contrary to the Torah on dozens of occasions. G’d said that His covenants are forever. See Genesis 9 and Genesis 26. Jewish people are special to G’d because they were the only group who would accept His full Law, given to them at Sinai. When you allege that G’d made a “new covenant,” you are calling G’d a liar. If you worship Jesus as a G’d, you are worshiping, at best, a man. Repent and abide by the seven Laws of the Covenant of Noah. G’d made this covenant with everyone via Noah. 🕊❤️

It will not be like the covenant I made with their ancestors when I took them by the hand to lead them out of Egypt, because they broke my covenant, though I was a husband to them," declares the Lord. (Jeremiah 31:31-32, ) “You are going to rest with your ancestors, and these people will soon prostitute themselves to the foreign gods of the land they are entering. They will forsake me and break the covenant I made with them." (Deuteronomy 31:16,)

Correction Rabbi, Jesus lives life more fully than Odysseus then died more nobly that Socrates. The more you read Homer, Plato and others, the clearer you see the men behind the curtains of religion.

Though it may sound strange, the Bible does indicate that animal sacrifices will take place during the millennial kingdom. Ezekiel 43-46 offers the most developed prophecies regarding these practices as it deals with the Jewish temple that will exist during the millennial kingdom and what takes place in it. Specific animal sacrifices are described in chapters 45-46 and include rams, lambs, and bulls. In addition to Ezekiel, Isaiah discusses sacrifices in the future millennial kingdom, stating: "their burnt offerings and their sacrifices will be accepted on my altar" (Isaiah 56:7). Zechariah 14:16 adds, "Then everyone who survives of all the nations that have come against Jerusalem shall go up year after year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the Feast of Booths." This celebration would also include animal sacrifices. Jeremiah 33:18 notes that during this time period, "the Levitical priests shall never lack a man in my presence to offer burnt offerings, to burn grain offerings, and to make sacrifices forever." Some object to the idea that animal sacrifices will take place during the millennial kingdom, believing this is no longer needed following the work of Christ on the cross. For example, Hebrews 10:11-12 states, "Every priest stands daily at his service, offering repeatedly the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins. But when Christ had offered for all time a single sacrifice for sins, he sat down at the right hand of God." If Christ paid the sacrifice for our sins, why will animal sacrifice continue in the future? While not every aspect of this question is answered in Scripture, it is clear that the continued use of animal sacrifices during the millennial kingdom is a fulfillment of God's prophecies made long ago. If animal sacrifices do not resume in this time period, this will mean God has not kept His promises in this area. Yet God always keeps His promises (Deuteronomy 7:9). These sacrifices did not take away sin in the Old Testament, but were done in obedience to the Lord in repentance of sin. In a similar way, future animal sacrifices during the millennial kingdom will not take away sin, but will serve as a reminder or memorial to the Lord (Hebrews 10:3). This is not unlike the way Christians take the Lord's Supper during this current time period (or church age) as a reminder of Jesus' death and resurrection. Though the thought of animal sacrifices during the millennial kingdom may sound strange to today's Christians, the sacrifices will be a fulfillment of God's prophecies and serve as an act of worship to the Lord.
Excellent answer by Rabbi Tovia Singer, especially when he brought up the part where the book of Revelation calls the Jews the "Synagogue of Satan." However, I also see a deeper implication in the original question -- if Jesus had been crucified almost 40 years before the Temple got destroyed, and sacrifices were still ongoing, this implies that the entire story of Jesus might be a fabrication. I say the greatest witnesses who should've been able to tell us what really happened were the Roman soldiers who were guarding the tomb, but we are told (by a non-eye-witness) that they were all unconscious, and they were also paid by the Sanhedrin not to tell anyone. This makes me doubt the whole Jesus story. Also, Superman doesn't work as a reporter in Gotham (that's Batman's city) -- Superman works for the "Daily Planet" in Metropolis.
@@AdaraBalabusta, I'm in total agreement. However, I keep hearing people like Rabbi Skobac, Bart Ehrman, and even the Atheists continuing to insist that he did. I have not heard Tovia Singer say it yet, but I have also not heard him say that he didn't exist. I think this is a big problem, because the smartest people in the world seem to be stuck on something that is clearly a falsehood. A few years ago, Joseph Atwill's "Caesar's Messiah" was a wonderful possibility, but more recently, that is being debunked & rejected using the term "Roman Provenance." We aren't even sure if Josephus, Tacitus and others who mentioned Jesus had their writings altered, or if they might have actually been writing about totally different people with the same name. I would love a show where Tovia Singer digs deeper into whether Jesus really existed. I've even requested that he & Rabbi Skobac or others on TenakTalk cover Joseph Atwill's video, but nobody has responded yet.

Actually, his answer to the topic fails miserably. (See my response above.) There is much babbling here and he is all over the place. If you focus on his refutation to the question of the caller, he distorts the quote from Hebrews at 6:44 into the video.
@@fufubass, Tovia Singer's response is quite logical. First, he has addressed Hebrews 10 many times in the past, as falsely claiming in verse 5, "Sacrifice and offering you did not desire, but a body you prepared for me..." when the hijacked & twisted verse from Psalms 40 actually says, "Sacrifice and offering you did not desire-but my ears you have opened..." Paul (or whoever wrote Hebrews) does this kind of nonsense all the time. He might argue that it's from the Greek Septuagint, but why would a Bible-believing Pharisee use the Greek mistranslation instead of the Hebrew, especially when writing a letter to the "Hebrews?" Even so, this is not a prophecy but the words of King David. (Jesus also frequently misconstrues Psalms to be prophetic. No, they're just songs of praise. If I'm going to start taking hymns & carols as prophetic, then I'd better watch out, because "Santa Claus is Coming to Town.") It is this mode of thinking that carries Tovia Singer into his conclusion on Hebrews 10:18, which is what he's talking about at 6:44 in the video. Then, he refers to Bugs Bunny, but appropriately switches to Superman, incorrectly associating him with Gotham, which I addressed above. The idea that Jesus got rid of the animal sacrifices is a central focus of Christianity (just like getting rid of the Sabbath, Circumcision, and other commandments of God,) but it simply proves that Jesus wasn't anything like God. The finger of Jesus didn't write the 10 commandments on stone, and therefore, Jesus clearly isn't God. Likewise, Jesus never flies, nor does he stop crime & save the day for those in danger, so in reality, he doesn't compare to Superman very well, either. But at least we know that Superman never existed...or did he? Find out next episode 🤣

Everyone knows that Jesus was a man and that He was born and livied in Israel at the time of the Roman occupation. Everyone knows this because He is written of in history. Even atheist and evilutionist believe Jesus was a real man who live and died by crucifixion, sentenced to death by Pilate because the Jewish people said He blasphemed by not only calling Himself the Son of God, but that as God's Son He made Himself equal to God. So Jesus lived that is a truth, but was He the Son of the living God, the very God of Israel and their Messiah, if He was then the Jews of that place killed their own Messiah, and this is something that no Jewish person can live with today. They must look and use everything, to disprove that Jesus was their Messiah that they crucified and I can fully understand this , in fact, Jesus said this would take place. In Matthew 28:62, once Jesus was crucified the religious leaders of that day went to Pilate and said, "We request that you make the tomb as secure as possible in case the apostles come and take Him by night then the and on the third day say that Jesus had risen from the dead . And Pilate gave then the permission to make it secure by sealing the tomb with Pilates signet ring, and to have the Romans soldiers stand guard over the tomb for 3 days. But why for three days, because after three days the religious leader would have rounded up all of those who followed Jesus and then tell the guards to open the tomb. Then when they opened it they could say to Jesus's follower, "Look there He is still dead in the tomb, so much for being risen and being the Messiah and that would have been the end of it. But it was the very guards who seen the angels roll the stone away and they were so filled with fear they almost turned to stone. And they went and told the religious leader of what happened, and they said to , Go and tell everyone that the apostles came at night and stole Jesus body away. And if anyone says anything we will give them money. Why?, because that would mean that the soldiers had failed at their duties and would have been put to death. And we know that the apostles never stole the body by night,. for one reason is the tomb was fully guarded by Roman soldiers who would have killed them. Not only that, but the apostles were filled with fear just after Jesus was taken away, as the scriptures prophesied, "Strike the shepherd and the sheep will be be scattered" , so for the three days they were filled with fear until Jesus appeared to them. And even if anyone had opened that tomb 10 minutes after Yeshua's body was placed in it , it would not have been there, because the second that Jesus body was place in the tomb, Jesus by His eternal Spirit that He had willed out of His body just before it died to put to death the sins of the world that had been place in His body of flesh, for it was by flesh that sin was brought to the world, it was by death that Yeshua body put to death all sin. And as soon as He re-entered His body by His Spirit, bringing His body back to life by His Spirit , the same Spirit we receive when we receive the Messiah for the forgiveness of our sin. He immediately descended into the bowels of the earth and made a public spectacle of satan and his demonic forces. And after speaking to those held in captivity He rose from the dead on the third day and showed Himself to the Apostle and 400 people disciples at one time. So many people seen Jesus before He rose to the right hand of the Father. And now because I am born again of the Spirit, me, a lowly gentile have become the son of God my Father. So I achieved by faith that which no Jewish person can receive by trying to be obedient to God, even their God. Because good works cannot save anyone's soul, and no one can fulfill the law completely with out sinning against it. This is why God Himself came to earth to save His creation that He loved . He created His Own people to save the whole world by His chosen people. And this is great for Jewish people that God used them as a people of His own choosing to bring salvation, not just to them but for the entire world, for whosoever receives Yeshua, that one who paid our sin dept in full, shall receive every lasting life.

The Tempter and Deceiver spoken of in the Torah is deceiving many by using a westernized or distorted version of "Jesus" to lead people into a form of worship that ultimately draws them away from the true understanding of YHWH and Yeshua. Many Christians, particularly in Western traditions, proclaim that "Jesus is God," which can lead to theological confusion or misunderstandings, especially when it departs from the understanding of YHWH's true nature and the role of Yeshua as the Messiah. In Scripture, Yeshua consistently points to YHWH, emphasizing that He came to do His Father's will, speak His Father's words, and fulfill His Father's plan. Yeshua makes clear distinctions between Himself and YHWH, always giving glory to the Father. In John 5:19, Yeshua says, "Yes, indeed! I tell you that the Son cannot do anything on his own, but only what he sees the Father doing; whatever the Father does, the Son does too." The westernized doctrine that says "Jesus is God" can blur this distinction, leading to a form of worship that places Yeshua in the role of YHWH, rather than recognizing Yeshua as the Messiah who reveals YHWH. This confusion could make it easier for The "Deceiver" to distort people's understanding of the true relationship between YHWH and Yeshua, ultimately leading them away from worshiping YHWH in spirit and truth. Yeshua upheld the Torah and lived His life in perfect obedience to YHWH's commandments. He never sought to abolish the law but rather to fulfill it (Matthew 5:17). However, many westernized depictions of "Jesus" suggest that He came to do away with the Torah and establish a new set of laws, leading many to disregard the commandments given by YHWH. By presenting a "Jesus" who seemingly opposes the Torah, the "Deceiver" is encouraging people to reject the very instructions that YHWH gave to His people, thereby leading them away from the truth of YHWH's word and the covenant relationship He intended. The western portrayal of "Jesus" often includes imagery that depicts Him in a glorified or idealized way-pictures of a European-looking figure with glowing light, or statues that are venerated. These depictions can foster a form of worship that focuses on an image rather than on the truth of who Yeshua is. Exodus 20:4-5 commands against making images and bowing down to them. By venerating images or statues of "Jesus," people may be led into a form of idolatry, even without realizing it. The "Deceiver" uses this visual representation to subtly divert people's worship away from YHWH toward something that resembles but ultimately distorts the true Yeshua. The concept of replacement theology, which suggests that the Church has replaced Israel as YHWH's chosen people, is another way that the "Deceiver" uses the westernized "Jesus" to deceive. This theology often disconnects "Jesus" from His Jewish heritage and from the covenants made with Israel, presenting a version of "Jesus" that has little to do with the fulfillment of YHWH's promises to Israel. By creating a "Jesus" who is disconnected from the Jewish context, the "Deceiver" deceives people into ignoring the significance of Israel, the Torah, and the promises that YHWH made through the Hebrew Scriptures. This leads to a lack of understanding of the true nature of YHWH's redemptive plan, which centers on Israel and is fulfilled through Yeshua, the Jewish Messiah. In western Christianity, especially in traditions influenced by the Catholic Church, doctrines and rituals that are not explicitly found in Scripture have often been elevated to the level of divine authority. This includes the concept of the Trinity, which though meaningful to many Christians-can be confusing when it is used to explain the relationship between YHWH and Yeshua. The insistence that "Jesus is God" within the framework of the Trinity, without a clear scriptural basis or understanding of the distinctions Yeshua Himself makes between Him and the Father, is used by the "Deceiver" to confuse people about who YHWH is. This confusion could prevent people from coming to the true knowledge of YHWH as the one true God and Yeshua as the Messiah sent by YHWH. In many westernized Christian traditions, the use of YHWH's name has been replaced with generic titles like "God" or "Lord." The name of Yeshua has also been replaced with the Greek-derived name "Jesus." While these names and titles are familiar to many, they can obscure the Hebrew context of who YHWH is and the significance of Yeshua's true name. By substituting YHWH's name and presenting a version of Yeshua without His Jewish identity, the "Deceiver" is leading people away from a deeper relationship with the true YHWH and understanding of His Messiah. This lack of clarity makes it easier for the "Deceiver" to insert deceptive teachings or representations that further distort the truth. Many Christians are taught that simply believing in "Jesus" is enough for salvation, without necessarily understanding the importance of repentance, obedience, and a transformed life. This superficial understanding can lead people to a false sense of security, believing they are saved while lacking a genuine relationship with YHWH and an understanding of what Yeshua taught. The "Deceiver" uses this distorted version of "Jesus" to keep people complacent, thinking that they are following the true Messiah while, in reality, they are not fully grasping the depth of YHWH's call to righteousness, repentance, and true discipleship.
Hello Rabbi, Ezekiel 45:22 uses the word nasi, as you mentioned, referring to the prince. However in Daniel 9:25, the passage mentions the words ‘Messiah nagid’ or Messiah the Prince. Because Messiah is not referred to or detailed in the passage you cited, we do not agree that Ezekiel 45:22 is speaking about the Messiah. The passage, in context, is referring to another leader among the priests at the rebuilding of the temple. Ezekiel is outlining this princes’s duties among other duties in the priesthood and temple procedures.
@@AdaraBalabusta hi friend. That was my point. The title Messiah and the title King Messiah are two different concepts. Rabbi is misinterpreting what Christians believe, hopefully it’s unintentional.
We fallen people constitute the problem for God and the Messiah. Our lack of faith and trustworthiness is the real problem. It was the same in Moses his time. In Jesús his time, they would say: "We know that God spoke to Moses" But in the actual time of the exodus, that was not the case. In fact, the hebrews didn't believed Moses was the chosen one to bring them out to Egypt into the promised land, when he slew the Egyptian, the Hebrews spread the news and Moses had to flee for 40 years into the wilderness of Midian, because Phararon wanted to kill him. when God call him and he went back , he had to perform many miracles for the hebrews to accept him and finally leave Egypt. But during their journey toward Canaan, they continuously rebelled against Moses and God, wanting to return to Egypt so God made them wander for 40 years in the wilderness and all the first generation born in Egypt, except for Joshua and Caleb, died there.....

@Pierre-g6ryou said a whole lotta nothing cope
In the New Testament, several verses suggest that Jesus is distinct from God, indicating he is not God himself. For instance, in John 14:28, Jesus says, "The Father is greater than I." In Matthew 24:36, he mentions that only the Father knows the day and hour of the end times, not the Son. Additionally, in John 17:3, Jesus prays to the Father, referring to him as "the only true God," and in John 20:17, he calls the Father "my God." These passages collectively imply a distinction between Jesus and God, supporting the view that Jesus is not God but rather his messenger

Matthew 5:9: In the Beatitudes, Jesus blesses the peacemakers, indicating a preference for peace over revolt.
Ambiguous Statements on Rome:
Luke 13:1-3: Jesus comments on Pilate's massacre of Galileans without inciting rebellion.
Jesus' Character and Actions
Criticisms and Conflicts:
Matthew 23: Jesus' direct and harsh rebukes to the religious leaders can be seen as combative and challenging to the established religious authority.
John 2:13-22: His cleansing of the temple indicates a forceful approach to perceived corruption.
Positive Actions and Teachings:
Compassion and Healing:
Matthew 14:14: Jesus is moved by compassion and heals the sick.
Luke 7:11-17: Jesus raises a widow's son from the dead out of compassion.
Teachings on Love and Forgiveness:
Matthew 5:43-48: Jesus teaches to love one's enemies and pray for those who persecute you.
Luke 23:34: Jesus asks for forgiveness for those who crucify Him, "Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do."
Summary
While Jesus did engage in sharp criticism of the religious leaders of His time and had moments of intense confrontation, particularly with the Pharisees and the temple authorities, He also emphasized compassion, love, and forgiveness.

Romans 3:23-31
[23]For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
[24]Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:
[25]Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;
[26]To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.
[27]Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith.
[28]Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.
[29]Is he the God of the Jews only? is he not also of the Gentiles? Yes, of the Gentiles also:
[30]Seeing it is one God, which shall justify the circumcision by faith, and uncircumcision through faith.
[31]Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.
Zechariah 12:9-14
[9]And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.
[12]And the land shall mourn, every family apart; the family of the house of David apart, and their wives apart; the family of the house of Nathan apart, and their wives apart;
[13]The family of the house of Levi apart, and their wives apart; the family of Shimei apart, and their wives apart;
[14]All the families that remain, every family apart, and their wives apart.
Revelation 1:7-8
[7]Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him.
If you want to research the matter consider the following:
1. One Person Cannot Die for the Sins of Another
Exodus 32.30-35, Deuteronomy 24.16, Jeremiah 31.29-30, Ezekiel 18 (all), & Psalm 146.3
2. A Blood Sacrifice Isn’t Needed to Forgive Sins
Genesis 4.7, Exodus 22.3-14, 34.6-7, Leviticus 5.11-13, Numbers 5.6-7, 14.17-19, 16.47 & 31.50, 1st Samuel 15.22, 2nd Samuel 12.13-16, 1st Kings 8.38-39, 41-43, & 46-50, 2nd Kings 12.16, Isaiah 6.6-7, 55.6-7, Jeremiah 7.22-23, Hosea 14.2, Jonah 3.5-10, Micah 6.6-8, Psalm 32.3-5, 34.14, 51.16-17, 86.5-7 & 15, 103.8, 111.4, 116.5, Proverbs 21.3, 28.13, Job 33.26, Lamentations 3.23, & 2nd Chronicles 7.14
3. God Will Never Accept a Human Sacrifice
Deuteronomy 12.30-31, Jeremiah 19.4-6, Ezekiel 16.20, & Psalm 106.37-38
4. God is One & Indivisible (not a trinity)
Exodus 20.3, Deuteronomy 6.4, Isaiah 43.11, 44.6, 45.5-7, & Psalm 16.4
See also the New Testament texts of Matthew 24.36, 26.42, Mark 13.32, Luke 18.19, 23.34, & John 14.28
5. God Doesn't Become a Human, & Humans Don't Become God
Numbers 23.19, Ezekiel 28.2, Hosea 11.9
What about the commandment that says :thou shall not kill….let alone kill a human to become your sacrifice? Psalms 49:8 no man can redeem another man the price is to costly.
@@AdaraBalabusta An ordinary man does not rise from the dead... The Rabbi NEVER resolves this issue, but is totally immersed in the Torah and the interpretation... It's creepy
Thank you rabbi tovia for saying the truth out loud. 🔥
@@springtown24 Both sides of the river is polluted.
@@springtown24 70 AD happened way after the times written about in the gospels, so they wouldn’t have mentioned it in there. And Jesus is High Priest, according to the NT. I believe in him too, but am curious about this passage.

@@ChristianHaner-d3h
The reference to Jesus as high priest has nothing to do with the high priest in Ezekiels vision.
13 For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh:
14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?
@@springtown24 why would the gospels say that they were written after? There's a lot of things that the gospels don't say. The new testament books are written in the style of stories, not historical eyewitness accounts like in a personal journal, as there is no "I" language from the authors themselves. That points to the books not being written in the time the events in the stories occurred in.
I don't identify with any religion but a proper reading of the new testament without bias or prior belief will yield that Jesus was not God.
Thank you Rabbi ,learning all the time !
The rabbi has a lot to learn 😢
@@joeljosephdenga3543 If you worship the idol known as Jesus, repent.
When Messiah was crucified, there was an earthquake , causing the heavy curtain separating the Holy of Holies to be ripped apart from top to bottom; opening up that space. Who repaired the curtain, (if it was)? And what were the implications of that occurrence?
That is a STORY! There is no reason for us to accept that this happened. Our traditions do not mention it, AND neither do our books...
Thats a very flawed question : " If Jesus is the final atonement why were Jews making sacrifice years after, and why were Jews visiting the temple? "
1. Many Jews especially the Jewish Leaders did not believe in Jesus as the final atonement so off course they continued with sin offerings. ( belief vs fact is subjective here)
And If you read closely there are other things that indicate this as well
1.They only go to the temple in Luke/Acts. In the other gospels they return to Galilee after Jesus Death.
2. There's an extra toast with wine in the last supper. The new covenant/Eucharist toast seems to have been added in next to another one the was likely the original.
3. The curtain tears while Jesus is still alive. Not after his death
4. The passage about his death being a ransom for many is removed from Luke
5. He never says that he will rebuild the temple in three days without hands like he does in John. In Luke it says that he was falsely accused of saying that.
And today, 2000 years later almost, AD70 temple destroyed, no more sacrifices, that's a lot of sin unaccounted for.

It's peculiar how all of these questions about the Christian faith are asked to a Jewish rabbi. The bubble of confirmation bias can be a cozy place
The basis of his understanding may precede that which is being questioned, but I think you will have a hard time making the argument that he would have the most in-depth and reliable understanding of the New testament compared to a New testament scholar
If you don't know Judaism, then you can't know how later movements developed out of it.
@@ahwien I think you're missing the point of my comment. I'm basically getting at the difference between steelmanning and strawmanning. A forum like this is highly susceptible to strawman arguments when discussing the Christian faith. Christian theologians actually have answers to the apparent conflicts that are referenced, but by asking about issues of the Christian faith to someone who presumes the Christian faith to be false, you will always get the answer "yes, that thing that seems problematic is problematic" - thus the confirmation bias.

Love your work Rabbi ❤.
@Pierre-g6r worshipping an idol that died as sacrifice which is forbidden doesn't equate to new covenant. Sin can not be considered as new covenant.
@Pierre-g6r That's jesus garbage will only be disappointment. There is absolutely no, nothing zero evidence that jesus was in the very beginning with God. A "word" is any lying spirit.
The Revelation book's account of jesus is fake. A Rebel cult leader is no messiah.
A lying spirit and false prophet can not forgive sins.
@Pierre-g6r your lack of logical and rational substance exclamates idolatry.
@Pierre-g6r a "spoken word" by definition, is a vague statement. A word is potentially any lying spirit. You worship a spoken word? Then, you can worship any lying spirit. God obviously spoke. Some spirit amongst may is not significant at all.
Any messiah candidate that doesn't respect the first commandment isn't a messiah.
Now, for you to say that the New Testament is unholy is evidence of the type of Jew that would deny Jesus. The beauty of the New Testament/ Greek Scriptures is that it does validate and confirms the Hebrew Scriptures.

David’s name in numbers is 14 why shows 14 generations in Matthew. But also shows he had the ancestor of Jeconiah who is spoken against in Jeremiah 22:28-30. Showing he cant be the messiah But Jesus didn’t come from his body but Luke explains in verse 18 how his conception came about.Mary’s who we have the genealogy of in luke 3.
And for the argument that genealogy can’t follow a woman who has no sons. We have the example of it is not always the case where genealogies follow the father.
1 chronicles 2:34-36 you find that when a person does not have a male heir to continue his line. His daughters continue his line for him. This example also shows an example of the tribe of Judah.

Thank you always for your great teachings

EXCERPT from Evidence Unseen… regarding Paul and the Temple sacrifice…
“However, nothing is mentioned about Paul performing an animal sacrifice-only the cutting of his hair. It could be that there wasn’t an animal sacrifice involved here. After all, the entire book of Hebrews considers the return to animal sacrifices as directly in contrast to God’s will in the new covenant (Heb. 10:10, 14, 18).” and in conclusion…
“We simply do not have enough detail about the nature of this sacrifice and purification ceremony to make a judgment about Paul’s decision. Whatever the case, God seems to have interrupted this event, perhaps showing that Paul shouldn’t have put himself in this situation in the first place.“

Gentiles were never commanded to offer sacrifices. It is a non-issue.
The Eucharist does seem to be a form of symbolic cannibalism. It is bewildering how this does not raise red flags among Christians. Also, the Church in Peru copied the pagan rituals of the ancient Mayan civilization.

The new testament is all made up
"Yenta" is my new word of the week. 🤣
As a Christian, I believe that Hebrews 10 clearly shows that the sacrifice of Jesus is the ultimate and final atonement for sin, making further sacrifices unnecessary. Here's how we understand this:
Hebrews 10:1-4 explains that the Law, with its repeated sacrifices, could never fully take away sins.
Pray to the true God HaShem. Renounce JC and his demonic church. Burn your New Testament. And accept the God of Israel into your heart tonight. Only HaShem can atone for your sins. Religious people believe the silliest thing with no evidence amazing
@@hrvatskinoahid1048 so where are the record of all these 3 million people that witnessed this? Not one decided to go back and write anything down? It is bordering on insanity to believe this without a very high degree of evidence.

Prophecy is very accurate in the old testament, prophets that we jews and Christians respect so much and they predicted the destruction of the vipers

Go to the etymology of the original text not a cover translation of the deceivers. What's your exact reference word and locations? "Every Jot and tittle".
A wonderfully and wel,VERY WELL explained covenant. What are your views on Matt 24?

Jeremiah 33:18 notes that during this time period, "the Levitical priests shall never lack a man in my presence to offer burnt offerings, to burn grain offerings, and to make sacrifices forever."
Some object to the idea that animal sacrifices will take place during the millennial kingdom, believing this is no longer needed following the work of Christ on the cross.
I doubt that Jesus even existed.

Very good.
And in reference to Adam and Eve, irregardless of different cultures explaining man’s origin, God can speak truth through myths.

I tell you that the Son cannot do anything on his own, but only what he sees the Father doing; whatever the Father does, the Son does too."
The westernized doctrine that says "Jesus is God" can blur this distinction, leading to a form of worship that places Yeshua in the role of YHWH, rather than recognizing Yeshua as the Messiah who reveals YHWH.
None of the passages you mentioned refer to Jesus. If you worship Jesus, repent.
@@AdaraBalabusta hi friend. That was my point. The title Messiah and the title King Messiah are two different concepts. Christians believe passages pointing to ‘King Messiah or Messiah the Prince’ are speaking about Yeshua (Jesus). The rabbi is pointing to verses that Christians DONT believe are speaking about Jesus.
