The way you describe Verdance is exactly how Emperor is in Blitz. Strong effective attacks and then the looming death of storm striders once they hit 9 life.
I just looked at the Earth Form spoiler and i shouted "this card is nuts" its a 3 for 7, 2 defense, sure, but the embodiment makes you gain at least 1 point of value if not more. These last heroes are so pushed it makes no sense to me how Warriors still have a design barrier and stay super safe with their effects...
I still think viserai ability is better. Simply put what Florian has is not Mordred tide. It looks like it but it's not. It requires cards that make Rune chants whereas viserai strength comes from the fact that he makes his own so he can bootstrap himself, whereas Florian will require active interaction
Verdance is Bulllander 2.0 and I'm so excited to build her Day 1. Easily going to be my new main hero, I can already tell. I think Blink is one of the more important cards to consider in Oscilio. Either Tome with "go again" is quite strong. So hype for new wizards finally.
Florian also has possibility as a sleeper fatigue hero, with its hero ability online you can activate gloves and swing with sword for 3 for a total of 2 runechant arcane + 3 off a single blue.
I actually really like all the heroes of this set. I’m leaning toward Verdance as being the first build I want to try. A little salty they banned Crown of Seeds but I understand why.

Yo Tog not sure if the First Strike decklists were live when you recorded this but it should be noted that Aurora's three card hands can be absolutely stupid. Burn Up / Shock + Aurora ability + Star Call + Static Shock is a 3 card hand that threatens 12 damage, is difficult to block cleanly, and also creates an Embodiment of Lightning + an arsenal card for next turn. With Majestics and bigger hands I think she's gonna get even scarier.
As one the 3 people who have played hundreds of Brainstorm Kano games even if Oscilo had Blazing unless can chain draw has easily as a kano can i doubt he could play a brainstorm style

If decompose is prevelant, then he'll be fine. Plus I also.hope his equipment feeds into his hero ability. I have a vynnset otk deck and it's fun but can struggle.

Decompose as a ability and Sow Tomorrow are cards, 8 is a very manageable number in a longer game, which is what Florian will play for.
