great professionalism, bits like the indicator and headlight turned on at the perfect timing, hats off . Also when the monkey came in, it would have made 10 thumbnails for other brands, you kept it going with respect. The cinematics (dolly effect), audio, colour balance is up to the point. idk why,, like honestly, before watching this video since i saw the exter i disliked its design elements, but somehow I have started to like it. Infact more than just "like".
Side Note:- I have neither seen this car personally nor test drove it (yet). Something I remember is that this actually happened with me with the case of new-gen Verna, I really disliked its design but when I saw tht car in the showroom and test drove it....... ohhh boy tht car is truly amazingggg... Now I have driving experience of various cars from different brands and yeah I would rank the Verna above the german competitors (overall compared) now I know dynamics of german siblings cannot be compared and thts why I wrote "overall". The problem with modern indian market is tht there are tonnes of German shepherds and toxic tata fans which are just irritating and they carry no sense

With same engine as i10, can exter give mileage more than single digit inside city?
This is a crazy good intro. Straight facts and no sugar coating that thus is a repackaging of the i10 neod.
Clear customer advise. Get this over the i10 if you like the look and features, but remember it's not an suv.

Sir, is AMT transmission reliable in the long run like manual transmission? Suppose If I want to keep an AMT car for say 10-12 years, is it possible without any fuss? Is maintaining an AMT transmission expensive than manual?
Yes, AMTs use the same gearbox as the manual and if used right, can be more reliable than manuals because they are better at managing the clutch action especially in traffic

All automatics should have paddle shifters. Makes life simpler.
My requirement is daily commute of 30 to 40 kms and occasional long drive can say twice a year.

Only a city car is highly safe to drive in highway for a family. In such a way the engine is tuned. All turbo engine cars are not safe and most of the accidents only because of these type of cars. Drive with responsibility guys. GOOD REVIEW

Remember when Hyundai called its Creta a compact SUV, in 2016? That too, very hesitantly. Now they have Venue under that and this one under Venue. So today, Hyundai will probably call their Creta a jumbo SUV. 😂
Brezza also has paddle shifters with AMT.
Are you referring to the petrol automatic? That isn’t an automated manual transmission (AMT), it’s a 6-speed torque converter automatic (AT)

You can engage it manual mode and it will hang on to the gear you want if needed. The only issue in hills is that the engine itself will need to be pushed a fair bit

Do you see the biggest problem in this car? When 3 people sit with a few pieces of luggage behind, the back wheel is almost touching the bumper. The company should fix it soon.
I have taken test drive with 5 people inside and I didn’t see any problem with it. Do you think that Hyundai engineers are that stupid??

Hyundai is too stingy when it comes to usage of LED lights. Unless you go up to the Tucson, indicators are all halogen. Also, why are the headlamps in the top variant of the Exter still halogen? Aside from cost cutting, does Hyundai have some practical reason for that?
Does the competition offer LED headlights in the segment? If not, then why to offer it and increase price?
I wish Hyundai had offered proper armrests, both front and rear which will be used on a daily basis instead of fancy feature like a dashcam
Should’ve had the armrests yes, but wouldn’t call the dashcam a fancy feature. It only takes one incident for a dashcam to prove life or at least, hassle-saving
@@zigwheels I think it's a fancy feature becasue it is not convenient to view the data/recording on the spot. You have to copy it to pc to view it and I don't think it's comfortable

It is a small miss yes, but the fixed headrest is both firm enough and large enough in our experience.

That Exter looks like a toy with you. More than enough help consumers make decisions to buy or not. Its absolutely not an suv, not a micro, its just a toy. Looks like Maruti will hand over the alto segment to Hyundai because of the exter.
It’s definitely not an suv even harrier is not an suv. This is just a marketing term invented by car manufacturers to sell the hatchbacks. On this price no one can offer suv.

Windshield is too angled. Like a sedan. Not good. An SUV should have almost vertical windshield. Also, it looks like a van from rear. Not like SUV. I'm disappointed.
