Nice Video explaining all the pros and cons. As you said, 60:40 is very useful and wonder why Hyundai didn't have.. hope their next update carries that. Same with the driver arm rest. If the crash test happens, this might be in the range of 3 to 3.5 not more I guess because the platform hasn't changed.

very good review bro..i like it..actually car features are good but in some cases TATA PUNCH,TATA NEXON are much better..mireover tyres size need to inprove.This may cause problems .i20 tyre size are really good.According to price many features are there but safety is compromise in few parts.hope this part will be taken care in coming days to inprove this car performance..

Our compromises with safety is not motivating these manufacturers to make safe cars . It's not tough for them .

The real pain will start when you will give your Car to the Service Centre.
This is a newly launched Model,
first four years - you won't get parts because its a new model,
Later - you won't get parts because its now old, not successful and blah blah
Also, the Hyundai authorised Service centres in India are very substandard - they ruin your car, will misplace parts, deteriorate your vehicle and blame you for it.
A 5days work will take atleast 2months to sort out.
Still wanna buy Hyundai - Go ahead and feel the trauma yourself.
@@seavegarohiti think you didn't go to an authorised dealership, i worked in hyundai from a very Long Time but still i can that their service is much better then So called Tata's, even though I also Worked in Tata Dealership but customer always complaint and cry about the post delivery service. if comparison to hyundai it is much better, and about parts, yes for the new car i can say there will be delay but later on it will available not like VW/Skoda.

fully agreed ,Its a good product , smooth engine , but its a JACKED-UP HATCH with good inside space.
CANNOT mark it as a Mini/ Mirco SUV in true sense.....

price wise you just have to pay 10 to 20 thousand more but you get bigger tyre size, Ground clearance, looks, esp, abs and front disc rear drum and believe me
Our Indian Roads need a Higher ground clearance ex- Raniy and Hilly and bad pathces Magnite is great in it you can travel with 5 people with luggage ease no more Clipping off rear tyres in fender.

Guy's few things we should consider before opting Hyundai exter. Today i booked exter over fronx delta plus (10.7 lac). Punch Acc dazzle ( 10 lacs). Reason i cancelled fronx. Because of features missing in both. Not 1 or 2. Many basics option missing. Please find the additional features we are getting in exter Optional variant booked today (10.57 lcs) Bangalore. Find the features below.
1. 6 airbags
2. Sun roof(avl in punch)
3. Rear AC
4. Rear wiper
5. Rear defogger
6. Auto headlamps
7. Push button{ avl in punch)
8. Wireless charger
9. Cool glove box
10. Voice command
11. Alloy wheels ( avail in pinch and fronx)

Sir i haven't recently test drive the Exter amt top model , as per your review suspension is softer but we were 4 adult in the car and we can feel every pot hole, and even a small stone on roads.
When pushing the vehicle its upshift till 5000rpm, i need to change using paddle shifter.
Cost is more than 9lacs still no armrest, fix headrest even smaller in size not comfort for 6feet person.
Good thing in vehicle is amt is smooth as compared to maruti or tata amt.
And inbuilt dash camera.
So we shifted to Ignis Zeta ags.
Sir Baleno Zeta AGs aur exter s(o) amt me bahut confused hu..please recommend which one to buy..mostly city driving hai mera..thank you

How much it cost and the waiting period
Exter SX MT is 8.95 lakh on road , this is introductory price and may increase from August as said by the dealer. waiting period is minimum 6-8 weeks.
Bro, did you opt for the monotone or DT ? I heard SX DT comes with Alloy wheels but I'm not sure if Hyundai is charging any premium for that apart from the extra 25-30k for DT. please respond if you have full information on this?

Venue will b much better decision, comparatively much better cabin and boot space. If you havd limitation in budget fhen only go fof exter
Car ki Tail ka delay ke sath align hona indicates that car ka centre of mass kuch jyada hi frontal side par hai i.e. because of engine position. I hope you can imagine how light weight the body shell is. It's a TIN CAN for sure with gimmicks of 6 airbags and other safety features.
Bodyshell is highly unstable as it's noticeable while driving it. It's when the car is equipped with ESP. I can only imagine what disaster it'll do without ESP.
I don't think it'll get more that 3 stars (more likely like creta) that's too because of electronic safety features, not because of strong structure and bodyshell.

Initially I was waiting for its launch as I desperately needed a four wheeler with comfort at my age 60. But when I visited it on launch date 10july itself at the showroom, found that as far as safety rating concerned this can get only up to 2star Max like nios. The same thing that hundai will not go for crash test came in my mind immediately. At many body points u can press it by your thumb also so overall this cannot compete with tata punch. Exter feature wise loaded with less solidity. Thereafter i booked a venue which I found can be driven in the city as well as on highways occasionally needing which fulfilled my requirement.
