It's crazy how in 8 years the Ukrainian military transformed from a poor, uncoordinated, backwards, amateur military to a fully professional, well-equipped, and battle-hardened modern force
yeah, ukrainian army is well-equipped, but our military need to buy this equipment themselves.
I’m Ukrainian, and no, everything is not as good as I would like. The corrupt government is profiting from our soldiers, buying them not the best equipment at prices 5 times higher than the real price, buying food several times more expensive. Also, sometimes stupid orders are made, made only for the sake of some symbolic meaning. For example, the battle for Bakhmut was not worth it and only led to HUGE losses among people and equipment. Also, there were attempts at a counteroffensive in the south only because everyone was waiting for it. In addition, a harsh, unfair mobilization is carried out when young, inexperienced guys are drafted into the army, because of their inexperience they often die at the front and set up their partners. In general, the situation is rather sad and, at the moment, hopeless. Ukraine does not have promising candidates who would save our country from many problems.

It never ceases to amaze me how far along the Ukrainian army has come in just a few short years. It's very impressive.

I'm Canadian Ukrainian. My mother is Ukrainian and my father is English. At the factory I work at we have Ukrainian refugees working with us here in Canada and the one lady from Ukraine has had her Car, house and her husbands business blown up by Russian bombardment. Her husband and her oldest son are still in Ukraine. She is happy to have so much support in Canada and having people like me that know how to speak Ukrainian with her, mind you my Ukrainian dialect is more different with an English accent but she can still roughly understand what I'm saying with my English accent of Ukrainian language.

I learned Russian in school as a kid and grew up with Ukrainians, my brother went over to serve as his fiancè had her parents farm invaded by them in the North. We have refugees here where I live but not many, and I have found so much comfort in being able to converse with them, and to share the pain. Russia are b*stards for what they have done to that beautiful country. Thanks for being a good person.
As a ukrainian I just have one question - why did your ukrainian mother not teach you russian instead? She wasted so many job opportunities. Knowing russian wouldve gotten you way farther ahead in life. I prefer speaking russian myself, sad that its associated with that bastard of a president right now. I used to want to live in russia myself.

Mariupol may be temporarily occupied, but it will be free again. While RuSSia is getting weaker, Ukraine is getting stronger every day. The day will come where the RuSSians are pushed back and all of Ukraine will be liberated again.

@@teamexplosive2799 what ways of SEAD do ukraine have and where they actually implement them? Please tell me. Rather than limited sabotages and drone strikes ukraine cannot affect russian mil infrastructure. Even those sabotages are result of not excellent quality of russian AA and may be some flaws of AA system. Not because ukraine have some extraordinary armament or tactics. Also neither me nor you know percentage of successful attack of ukraine on russian territory because of "survivorship" bias, where we know number of sucessful tries and dont know number of unsuccessful. How many times they tried and got their drone shot by AA? Maybe much more than they succeed in that. Same with sabotage. What is the ratio of captured saboteurs to those who complete their mission? Neither of us know, because we only have information of those who suceed. So how you judge knowing a part of information and ignoring the other?

Dude the amount of years of the Ukrainian Military development from having post-ussr era weapons and equipment into present day & now operating on Western tactics and weapons is amazing. In just short amount of time, these people are amazing.
