Did your jigsaw have holes on the bottom to attach the screws?
Not wasting my time where the content creator is either unwilling or unable to speak and articulate their process.
this is ridiculous!! All this time & effort wasted....just man up & make the cut with the jig...it's NOT that difficult!!
If needed, grab some scrap wood and make a practice cut, then move on to your actual piece. It's rather easy to make a nice cut with a jig, just have a good blade & follow your template.
