@@ronniecaron6827 No, you misunderstood. Right after Greta makes the comment quoted above, there is an edit and something was cut out. I was curious as to what was cut.
@@67Second hi Dennis, i did misunderstand. I'll have to listen again. It's more then possible, that the studio, who has total control of the interviews, had something cut out, because it was a spoiler.
A few months ago i saw an interview with an actor called Luke Mullen. He gave a secret about his show away. a day later i watched the interview a second time and what he said was cut out.
Timothee is famous for saying things he shouldn't say. He (like many actors Tom Holland for one)is famous for slipping up. He has a handler standing over him, just out of the reach of the camera, ready to pounce on him if he fucks up. there were a few times when he was being asked questions, that he actually turned to the handler and said "can i answer this? haha
part 2. i also have met Meryl Streep! She lived in the same loft building in downtown manhattan as artist friend of mine. The elevator opens directly into the space.
She stepped out ot say hello to my friend. She was in a robe, holding a glass o white wine in one hand and a baby in the other. haha
I think she thought i was a potential client of the artist and not his friend, because she was almost trying to sell me one of his works of art. Acting didn't come into the conversation, i had the good manners not to bring it up! I know, that she didn't want to hear "you are one of my all time favorite actors for the 10,000th time. my knees were shaking for 1/2 hour after she left.
@@ronniecaron6827 I agree. I have seen so many interviews with him. As a fellow actor (at a somewhat lesser level) he impresses the crap out of me. He doesn't know it but he gave me my best monologue ever.

Timothee may be easily dismissed as a teen heartthrob as I initially did, but his work is speaking for itself, and watching his interviews he’s very mature, grounded, sincere, thoughtful and well spoken. Much respect.
Hear hear! He looked like another generic teen heartthrob to me at first glance, until I heard him open his mouth and saw him in The King. Hopefully if one of his movies in the near future flops, he can easily bounce back from it

I know!! Every time I see someone who knows her personally and intimately (like Timmy and Greta) talk about her and praise and adore her, I get an even stronger desire to know her and be best friends with her. She is a phenomenal actor and a wonderful person and I wish I could meet her

I agree but I wish she had taken more care with her American accent; especially when she's shouting I can hear her strong Irish accent coming through, it isn't as bad as when Benedict Cumberbatch's various American accents but it needs improvement.
@@stephaniezimbalist3757 Tom Holland said, that when he was filming Spiderman, he would start a scene with his American accent and without him or anyone else realizing it, he would slip back to his English accent.He said, that at least one scene, made it to the final edit when someone picked up on it. Tom said, it usually happened at the end of a really long day of shooting. He said, that a few times he was sure he hit it on the mark, but in actuality, he was just using a different british accent.
@@ronniecaron6827 That's crazy. I've only ever seen one of his films, the first Spiderman movie, and I remember thinking that he was pretty consistent with his accent.

I am so glad he hit big first in a small independent film because he is so beautiful that it is a temptation for the press, and people, to overlook what an amazing actor he is. One of the safe places today for misogyny is to dismiss actors and musicians that "teenage girls like." Well, teenage girls can sometimes hone right in on what is true in a performance. So many people involved in this film are gifts and treasures. (Hey, I am a 68-year-old woman, not a teenage girl-- my misogyny sensor is very well developed after a good length of time in this culture!)

I've watched a lot of Timmy's interviews and I am struck by how happy he is doing EXACTLY what he wanted to do his whole life. To say he is talented is an understatement. I came for CMBYN. I'm staying for every other film he stars in.
I agree. I get that some people don’t find him attractive (or not really) but how can you not love his personality he is so humble, kind and grateful. I really hope he is going to do more movies like cmbyn and little women. They’re so beautiful in every way. I love it.

THIS WAS A GREAT INTERVIEW! it’s hard to sit through interviews where you can tell the interviewees don’t want to be there and/or wack questions are being asked, but in this everyone was so engaged in the conversation, greta and timothee were so enthusiastic about the topics covered, I love it :-)

Honestly, I've always had a problem with period pieces because they felt very stiff. That's why I never got around to watching Little women, apart from random clips. I'm happy I watched this one. So refreshing.
Interesting because I love period pieces and in turn felt that this one was very stiff and restrained.
You should watch the 1994 version. I love Timothee and Saoirse, but I still think the 1994 version is better.

Frankly....if ever there were a movie made about Jimmy Page....I'd have Timothee play the part (he is too short at the moment....I think at 5'10" whereas Page is 6'1") but then I' d add the guy who is 6'2" from the Pennyworth series....Jack Bannon...or ???? ...he is so absolute like a young 20ish Page....like a young Page it would be so fascinating....really, both of them do...

I can't wait to see him play a very dark detective like Brad pitt in Seven , with a black leather raincoat, a cigarette, a troubled past, social anxiety and formidable intelligence for interrogation scenes and investigations. If you know Timothée well, he loves the interrogation scenes in the movies, he loves this closed session (his favorite scenes are The master and The Dark night, he confided that these scenes had changed him forever). He loves this powerful and intense challenge which locks the actors in a room and pushes them to their mental limits. And we already know that it will be absolutely incredible. in that kind of role. and yep dont forget a Tim Burton's movie as well, he is made for that, Tim Burton must be crazy about him righ now
