    I don't really understand the hatred against O'Leary, his interests converge with the huge majority of average people and he does help the Irish economy, way more than any government, what is the problem here?

    O´Leary is right! Purchased the Wizz air ALL YOU CAN FLY deal. Completely useless. Tried to book Porto to Rome as soon as flights opened. Checked through many other flights. I would say 90% of routes unavailable. They changed the rules after taking peoples money to say even if there's availability on normal booking don't expect to book using the "ALL YOU CAN FLY DEAL"!!! Only availability on cheap flights. So in the end you can't rely on getting any booking, even if they have unsold seats. Furthermore, I think it would be impossible to fly over the summer. BIG CON by Wizz Air. Hope they will refund as they promised!!!

    He has a point, if I pay my subscription to netflix every month, they wouldnt still ask me 10€ per movie I want to watch, right? So cleverly hiding that away in the small print feels indeed like a scammy way to promote it

    He hates the subscription idea scared him because he knows it's an extension of his own business model. The airlines make most of the their money from everything but plane tickets. A subscription would encourage more travel and thus more ancillary income. Ryanair and easyJet opened up air routes to places without any demand and that created it's own demand. Subscription could be a game changer.

      I often use wizz air .
      Many times I paid 10eu for a flight . I went to Central Asia gad 7 flights for 200eu
      With Ryanair is impossible.
      Is only Dublin and direct flight costs a lot now 150eu flight when to the same destination from UK or other country costs 10eu .
      Ryanair is real scammer

    Jonathan, as usual, is taking absolutely rubbish. The simple fact is that the majority of customers want to fly in and out of Dublin. Forcing people to fly from elsewhere is authoritarian. The market dictates. Does Jonathan not understand the basic laws of economics.

    • @bmcb3064
      @bmcb3064 2 месяца назад +4

      He’s not talking ‘absolute rubbish’ but he is getting mixed up a bit, but then, so are you a little…’majority of customers want to fly in and out of Dublin’. There’s a difference between wanting to and having to. The 60% inbound that O’Leary talks about, a lot as he says do it as a stop over, they do t want to go to Dublin specifically, if that stop over was located in Ballinamore they’d fly there no bother. The remaining 40% flying out use Dublin because either they live close to it, ie ‘want to fly in and out’ or if you’re like me, with the forgotten folks who live away from the pale, we have to use it due to a lack of alternative. Nobody I know down here likes going to Dublin, they have to use it. Personally I think it’s a bit of a sh*thole that just smells of stale ale or toilets.
