We have similar wrist size so I am always interested in what you find, never heard of this case style! Would be interested to see it on a single pass nato or straps to see how it wears.
I don't think it would be possible because of the added thickness of the automatic movement. That's one of the reasons why this particular watch wear so well on the wrist is because it uses a manual wind movement which is not as tall.
That is certainly a bit of a franken watch. With all vintage Vostoks, they are almost always newer than you think they are or what the seller inferred they were. I would suggest posting on the Watchuseek Russian forum and and they will very quickly break down exactly what you have. It might make for an interesting video. I will say though that I like the bezel. Obviously not original but I would love it for my Soviet era Amfibian. The original bezels are pretty horrible.
I not sure what the dial is called. This is an aftermarket dial so I'm not exactly sure if they are available for purchase by themselves. I think your best bet would be to keep searching eBay for a complete watch with this dial. Just search for "Vostok 119" . They do come up from time to time.
Love the look. Very cool watch!
This case style is quickly becoming my favorite. It wears so beautifully on the wrist and I love the Vintage looks!
Love my Vostoks have quite a number the 090 is my favourite though.
Great Video
would be great if Vostok would bring back the 119 case.
I definitely hope they do!
@@HeartofTexasArmory would be great if you could do a 1:1 comparison with 090
Nice watch. Love vostoks.
Thanks so much! I love Vostok's as well!
Love my vostok 119. Great size, nice and slim and does wear great on the wrist! Wear yours in good health.
I was unaware of this case style before I purchase this one. Would really like Vostok to bring this case style back in their new production watches.
Great find. Looks like it was finished to a high level.
Awesome affordable watch.
When you said they don't make this style case anymore were you referring to just the mini or the tonneau case in general? Thanks for making the video!

I think I will be modifying the strap in the video the single piece (pass) NATO for the full review! I think it will wear even better on that.
Could you put the automatic 2416 movement in it?

@@HeartofTexasArmory yeah you'd need the wider case back. Thanks for the vids very informative 👍

Definitely a fraken watch. But I love it they way it is.

Would you happen to know what kind of dial that is and where to get one?.
