I'm a former pump sales engineer. Make sure your inlet line is free of leaks, air coming in will affect performance. Use a larger diameter hose on the inlet, as straight as possible.
Would this pump replace a pressure bladder? Seems like it would hold pressure on the lines? I was going to use a pump in line with pressure bladder and float to trip pump.
Beau to eliminate the use of garden hoses across the road dig a trench and lay plastic tubing in the trench cover back up, run tubing up to garden tank either attach to garden tank or post next to tank. No need to run garden hoses to garden tank anymore when garden tank need to be filled turn on pump to fill garden tank. The pump can fill up the tank while you are watering the garden
Thanks for the videos. You can run rainwater into your house. I have been doing so for 3 years. Bought a water pump from Amazon. Ran through the pump to a pressure tank and into the house. Made the mistake of getting a 30 psi pump and the pressure is weak. Planning to get a 60 psi for my shed to house.
Absolutely! We would love to do it someday, just need to work through all of the specifics. Which we have several things that are more priority before then. But yes yes YESSSSSS!!!!! And solar, absolutely yes!!!!
Stick the ibc tank by the garden and let the overflow from the new tank fill the ibc tank.. So did I understand right yall have "city" water when you dont have rain water? Have yall thought about buried tanks for rain catching especially up front?
One idea to secure that slim tank, is to bury it about a foot deep, along with stapes, should it keep it from toppling over. If your kids are like I was as a kid. As a kid I would most definitely be playing with those straps.
Looks like the pump is designed for use with a pressure tank. Low flow, but high pressure. Should be plumbed as Water Tank>Pump>Filter>Pressure Tank>House. The auto-shutoff happens when the pressure in the tank rises high enough IMHO. As the pressure tank slowly loses pressure from use, then the pump kicks in maintaining pressure. Great video and keep up the great work!
Short term for securing that tank from fall...ratchet strap from trailer/pickup if long enough and a couple of screws with washer throught web to the porch rail. Just sayin...
I am looking for about your product place lace me a message . When I post this , I am looking for more information no this . How can I find one of this and how much do they run and where did you find your water tanks and how much do they run are they hard to set up and hard to move how you keep them from freezing to the winter and we're to be a good place to put them if you was building off grid home and you want to live like you get back to me soon I hope I hear from you I've been seeing too much of your videos I like how you're doing this?
Not sure that people with a budget would be able to duplicate your system, Grundfos stuff is top $$$ & why are you using Slimline (space-saving) tanks or your property? Round ones hold more water because they are inherently strong & don't need the wasteful doughnut design to stop them bulging. BTW a partly filled water tank would have a very low centre of gravity & be very stable if kids were crawling over it. If filled to capacity it'd weigh 250kG & unless your kids are Sumo wrestlers, I doubt that there'd be a concern of the tank falling on them. Good luck to you for being sponsored, but I don't see the drawcard for the average consumer.

@@tankeryankernomore6499 you can put a bladder tank down stream of the pump. A pressure switch on the pump will cycle the pump as needed.
@@daveedson8607 thank you

Love the Clark W. Griswold reference.
Wow, that reminds me of my pool pump. Thinking outside the box I wonder if you could use a pump for a larger pool 😀
Hi..... Thank you 🏡🎥👍👍👍

Have you seen the water catchment from RUclips producer "The Brad Next Door" roof catchment using the 250 gal tubs

You should put a pressure gauge before and after.
Oh great idea!!!!
Get the air out of the line first and you won't fry your pump
I would love to get the IBC tote. I made one out of a food grade blue barrel but we don't have gutters
Congrats guys! Amazing. Thanks for the walk through we are growing our system too!
Beau for the water pump to get more pressure you might have to change the size of both inlet and outlet pipes
Beau to increase the pressure you might increase the speed of the motor to get more water pressure or change the pump on the motor itself
Get yourself a well pressure tank also and you won't have to work the pump as much
Oooo, good idea!!!
Thanks for sharing

STEVE!!!! You are brilliant!!! Excellent idea!
Looking forward to #projectpantry#Canuary sent over by Sutton Daze many hugs and blessings ❤🙏😇 Neebie here🖐 Happy New Years 🍾
Pump had to prime first
We have 5000 gallons of rain water in our system. I'm posting videos of the system build now.

Make sure you use eat a copper pipe or PEX
Discontinued do you know of a replacement?
Hey that was a pretty good video. I would like to know what is the best meat rabbit to get started with?
Prime the pump
Cool pump! Do you know what the GPM and head is?
If kelly was standing next to you
Beau: "We like a lot of pressure in this house"
Kelly : "Thats what he said"
AHAHAHAHHAH
Lol!!!!! Amber you are SOOOOO RIGHT!!!
Good stuff man. Thanks for sharing :-)

This ranks up there with just about the gayest videos i’ve ever seen
Yay, you’re probably right. It’s cool to be a grown man and have a 14 year old that owns nothing call me gay. 🤣🤣🤣
