Credits to JonahFarc from discord! --------- Wide has 2 shells not 3, and long has 3 shells not 4 Artillery isn't the only thing boosting, sneak attack, and aggressive dodger both work as well Long can actually play charged shell spam and it actually works pretty well right now
Artillery level three increases shell capacity by one for all gunlances and phial capacity by one for all charge blades. that's probably where the confusion came in.

A friend in a local group said it's actually hold+swipe down. And that long swipe down is actually registered as hold+swipe down. Works either way I guess!
Thanks, i was advancing quickly throught the quests due to RAW Power, because of my resources. But i'ven't learned nothing. Just shots and Lucky different strikes that i didn't knew why they happened. This is FAR cooler and efficient.
@@shawnzyplays The problem was with the game. They have mostly resolved my gripes, but I'm knee deep in Pokémon go now. With a Go Plus + it's more family compatible. Never seen my wife happy with how a mobile game is played before
One play style not discussed here, unless I missed it, is pure charged shots with Long shelling. It's extremely easy to play, highly defensive, and eats Basarios alive.

I mean, the weapon is only complex if you want to style. You can just take Long GL, and do nothing but Charged shelling. Tap, Hold, release. Tap, Hold, release. Monster dead. Want better results? Add Focus and Artillery. No frame commitment downsides that Wyrmstake and full burst combos have too. On top of that, you have shield while charging too.

Just found out that after you do the uppercut with your GL, while it's up there on it's highest point, you can start shelling vertically to hit anything above you

Finally my main weapon in on the mobile. I feel it is a bit OP, but is kinda refreshing considering this weapon is considered the worst in the main series. I heard people killing grade 8 monster with a grade 5 GL built for elemental and artillery, insane.
@@shawnzyplaysohh sad, gunlance is nice and the gameplay is fun, kinda hard to master, since my phone doesn't reconize the input, rising slash is sometimes dashing and dashing is attacking... over head doesn't even work like it should be, idk why this is, but the dps ouput is high
@CirCoffee sadly that's the only way. However if you find that you're already in an attacking sequence, stop for awhile before swiping up or else you'll end up continuing the combo sequence

I couldn’t figure out how to quick reload after doing the slam. come to find out you have to long swipe down. You are the GOAT.🤞🏾

You can also just hold and swipe down, immediately after any action (poke/ firing a shot etc)
