@@Gameboytri77a It's because car reviewers only get a few hours at maximum with a car, so they don't have time to learn how to use it. Anything that is different from the norm is deemed complicated. The logic is very simple: a touch screen is impossible to use while driving. No feedback, bumps in the road have major impact on your finger position when you have your arm extended and a "mouse" like this makes it easy to rest your arm on the middle arm rest and do your thing. But heaven forbid a car reviewer would say something positive for a change. I value the opinion of actual owners much more: if they like it, the system is good. Petrol vs Petrol/Diesel, the GS has firmer coils springs than the E Class, 5 Series and A6 - so the GS does indeed handle more sharply - however, the GS rides a bit too firm too! Huhh? The 2013 GS has its own platform and not based from any Toyota. The 2013 GS is completely new from the ground up! Even the engine is different. There are also 3 sound tubes, again just like in the LFA, that transfers engine sound through the cabin.
I can't help but notice the rather shrill loyalism towards Mercedes and BMW in these comments. That in itself demonstrates what a perceived threat that Lexus is. Who would have thought 20 years ago that a Japanese car would be jostling the Germans in this sector?
I think so too! Maybe its because this is a non-F Sport hybrid and not the GS 350 F Sport.
