I am Fitzpatrick Scale 3, an Indian 🇮🇳 and I play with chemical peels all the time. Yeah, we as Indians can be on scale 1 to scale 6 on that since we are naturally multiracial. The best chemical peels for anti-aging would be TCA 25% two layers or three. I never go beyond 25, as layering/multiple passes is better than just putting a stronger acid, remember the pH of the acid and pKA matters the most when it comes to a chemical peel. For example, a TCA 20% peel with pKa of 1 will be stronger than TCA 30% with pKa of 2.2%. So always test it. I do Glycolic Acid Peels in Summer, Lactic in Winter as it's hydrating and do Mandelic+Salicylic Acid peels for minimal skin peeling. I also do Phytic sometimes Succinic, some Pyruvic Acid peels too. But trust me, nothing gives me better results better than the all hailing Tretinoin 0.1% gel, which is my go-to almost all the year. During Winter, I switch to Adapalene which is milder, meanwhile, I might shift to Tazarotene 0.1% cream this Summer for a trial. Trust me, nothing would keep your skin more hydrated than Lanolin which is what I apply after peels to hydrate my skin, my go-to is Boroline, which is ten times more hydrating and occlusive than Vaseline/Aquaphor. Also, diet is quintessential! Avoid Advanced Glycation End-Products (AGE) foods, have a lot of antioxidants in your food, eat nutrient dense foods, opt for Vitamin C from fruits, instead of just Ascorbic Acid which isnt even complete Vit C, Charge your Glutathione reserves with foods that build it, foods that build collagen, etc. Best wishes.
@@daimos6686 after your do a kild rinse with water after the chemical peel, yes!! But I do add some serums for example, Niacinamide at night or Vitamin C at daytime and then use a good occlusive on top of it. Occlusives like Petroleum Jelly or Lanolin are the best. I would recommend not using a moisturizer but an occlusive. It helps heal faster.
I just got this peel, literally last week. I didn’t use anything but what they gave me in the packet and it was enough. I finished the cleanser packets but have enough of the sunscreen and post treatment cream. Didn’t need anything else. Anytime I got itchy which wasn’t often I would just put on the post treatment cream and it was enough. You’re not supposed to use anything aside from what they gave you. After 7 days when peeling has stopped you can return to your routine. I like to listen to instructions because I’m afraid something will happen
And you should definitely listen! I own a skincare brand so I have a really good understanding of the products I’m using, but that doesn’t mean everyone should stray from the instructions.
Looks great! Love a Vi Peel! Pro-tip for post peel: At night AND during the day when you are in the house for the day (with a low UV index) top off the face with Aquaphor (or CeraVe Healing ointment, my favorite due to the ingredients!) This especially helps at night with the friction on your pillow if you are a side sleeper, and of course just better over all post peel. I know the fear of waking up with a red patch post peel. Not fun! Of course it’s ideal to try to stay on your back. Easier said then done! Also, did you prep for the peel ahead of time by using more pigment inhibitors a few weeks prior leading up? I like using your Multi-Bright and Azelaic Acid emulsion consistently a few weeks prior to prep for the peel! Also the formula of your new Retinaldehyde is incredible! Hope all is well! :)
I’m thrilled you’re posting this video! I have my first VI Peel in a couple weeks and I’m hoping it goes to town on my sun spots 🤞🏼 Thanks for sharing!
Your skin looks healthy and so good. I had heard of the Nefertiti lift. So I'm so glad that I got a chance to see it being done on someone. And the Naturium Multi Calm cleaner is amazing. It's definitely one of my favorite all time products.
I'm curious about the injectable, and laser treatments that you have been allowed to have, given that you have an autoimmune disease. In my country, it has always been written up in the information pamphlets, that they do not do these procedures on clients with autoimmune disease'. Those neck lines has come in hard and fast, on me, and I suspect that it is due to mixed connective tissue disease. I'd like to enquire locally, about the products suitability for me.
Next time you need to try the Perfect Derma Peel. It's very similar to the VI-Peel but has better ingredients. Doesn't burn either. You should have left it on overnight and rinsed it off the next morning.
Hi! I’m new here! Thank you for making these videos ! I am 55 and have actually aged pretty well but I’m wanting something to refresh my face, next and chest (former sun goddess here) of all your treatments which one gives you the most bang for your buck? ❤
I've had the TCA peels. The surgeon would put put the liquid on my face and he watches for it to "frost" I usually get 4 layers. The pain is so bad. I have one of those small fans and use it to help with the pain. Boy do my eyes water so bad during it.

Great looking skin! I have melasma as well. My dermatologist gave me pills to slow/stop the melasma from happening. Didn't really see that much of a difference. I go in 2 wks for a f/up. Is the Vi Peel only avail at your derm???
"Now that we are heading into winter, if your skin is dry"... Me, sitting next to a dry ass fireplace, with -20 c° weather, preparing for the upcoming dry ass, skin burning -42 c° cold front... yeah, you could say Im pretty crusty at this point haha.
Do you feel if you would’ve followed the instructions to the letter that you have peeled more? I thought the cleanser was a common cleanser not necessarily a super hydrating one? Because I feel like if you over hydrate then you won’t feel as much and that kinda defeats the purpose? Dr said you’d she’d like a snake but there was barely any?
I had this peel and they give you the packet of their products bc that’s what your supposed to use. I feel like your using too many different things on your skin . That red patch isn’t good.
It really irritates me that she use this opportunity to promote her product rather than following the peel instructions and her dermatologist - she doesn’t know better than the trained doctors and cosmetic formulators
This is not good for someone with darker skin. I'm African American and those bruises on your neck would have turned into permanent scars for me. So, this is a "no" for me.

Whats the diff between tca peel vs vi peel?
Should you moisturize right away after the Chemical peel?

I want a VI peel so bad, the results looks so good after. Thanks for the showing the post peel progress!
I just got my first Naturium order in! So excited! BTW, they have amazing customer service ♥️
I want that cute head band though! Susan you are beautiful inside and out, both before and after the peel! ❤
I’m scared of needles so this was hard to watch but very fascinating at the same time 👁️👄👁️
Can't believe you did all of those injections without numbing cream, you're so strong and brave!!
Your skin looks amazing. I had the chemical peel done and it has been good for me skin. Thanks for this video.

Hello and thanks for sharing your post! Out of curiosity, so beyond the vi peel experience I noticed some needles, was that Botox injections?

Hi. Your skin looks amazing. Wondering if the vi peel work great on neck area too? Also will it diminish my sebaceous hyperplasia?
Love! Also love how detailed this video is!!! Thank you
The results look great. How much does this treatment cost?
So informative! Would you ever consider the Cosmelan Peel? It looks like it’s specifically for hyperpigmentation 😊
I want cosmelan!! I just need to be able to make time for it.
@@Mixedmakeup oh my gosh I KNOW! That is the PERFECT peel to do during a pandemic 🤣

Arnica orally & topically starting before your injectables and continuing for a few days will really help with swelling & bruising.

She actually did try that. There’s a video from a few years back. She didn’t seem to like it.
Nice detailed video of the Vi peel. thank you!
The results are visible, but you are always radiant, how much is it for both treatments? thx!
Thanks for sharing this video. Your skin looks beautiful. Take care.

I love these videos 🙏💕💕thank you !!
What peel did you like better, this or the TCA peel?
I think TCA more!
Did it "tingle" for the full 4 hours?! How Deep or Level of a Peel is VIPeel considered?! Thx! 💜
No not at all. After the first initial minutes, it stopped tingling.

what was the price?
Hi. What did you do to prel for a pre peel? Thank yiu
omg. i wanna point out that you're skin looks good pre-peel. x
My dermatologist has this at his office. VI peels are $350 without the botox. I wanted to try it but he told me to wait at least another 10 yrs or so.

How often you can do it?
The medspa I was going to get my vi peel from doesn’t provide the post peel kit. Is this bad?
“i do no numbing bc i’m hardcore like that” i love this woman LMAO
How long after getting a VI peel can I do the Potenza RF microneedling?
I do mine at home myself and my skin has never looked better
where do you get your supplies?
How often to get a peel?
I would love to see her try out Morpheus8!!!!
It’s not recommended for me because it uses too much heat for my melasma. Otherwise I would want to try it too! People love it.
Arnica is a homeopathic treatment for bruising. It works really well ☺️
How much?
Cost??
To degrease skin, why acetone and not alcohol?
cost?
I honestly see no difference at all. Great skin in the before and great skin in the after
I am so scared of those needles 😭
I think this video was reuploaded. I’ve already seen this before hehe
It wasn’t but I did share this in stories when I got it done!
Oh.... that bruising on the neck looks so painful!
I’m guessing this is NOT for dark skin.
