Actually, it is even more amazing when an older skater, any age can do triples, spins, spirals, and any discipline of the sport! It shows that yes maybe a 13 year old can land a triple flip and lutz, but it goes to show the incredible hard work and determination that goes into skating when and older skater can land a triple flip and lutz to that same quality or even better than when a skater was 13.

She should be going to worlds....she gave the best SP performance with difficulty that is not rivaled in the world right now (it's the first 3lp 3lp I've seen in years)....this had to have been a mistake cause I just don't get it. She brought so much hope and inspiration back to her skating this year. Upsetting to see the placement/scores. Judges missed an opportunity to do something right; really disgraceful.
That second triple loop definitely should not have gotten the under rotation call, I'm very disappointed that she didn't get the credit that she deserved on that amazing combination pass.

eww. you must be mad. Sasha Cohen is a better performer than Michelle. Caroline is a better performer than Yuna, her presentation is more enjoyable.But just as Michelle was a better skater mentaly than Sasha, Yuna is a better skater overall than Caroline. Even though I prefer Caroline's sophisticated skating, Yuna has incredible technique and fluidity. Her spirals are her weaknesses true, but women's skating is not all about spirals. You can not be this biased. Yuna can jump and skate beautiful.

She has wonderful technique and a horrible choreographer... So boring and so dull programme... Thousands of ladies dance under the same music and wearing the same dress... And her technique was better when she was a child. I guess.

I don't understand her placement in the shorts. I thought that was the best. She should've been in the top 3 in the short program.

Kim Yu-Na has horrible spirals and there's no need to get offensive and personal. Both skaters have their merits.
