I think I remember watching this match on tv when it originally aired 🤔 I've been watching pool on tv since I was a kid. Thanks for this flashback memory 👍🩷
both are elite great players with absolute class here. No tantrum throwing, no ignorant behavior, which is unfortunately less true for some of the great men players. Watched both of them growing up and as a player myself I cannot help but admire their skills and abilities to control the cue-ball and be consistent.
It's amazing that Alison Fisher still competes at the top level today (2024). After all these years, still competing in the WPBA with the best in the world.
I played Jeanette Lee in city called York , Pa She asked how good I was after she heard the loud applause for me I broke no balls were touching ( but no balls dropped ) Lee proceeded to run table we were playing 8 - ball ball in hand (one game only )
12:41 Allison didn't "break the 9 ball out", it was more of "hits the 9 ball". You only call it "breaking out" when its in a cluster with other balls aside from the pocketed ball.
Before watching this video, I'd never heard the term 'blockers' used in reference to this type of felt. As a professional poker player, the term is something I work with every day.
I always loved this matchup. I remember Jeanette Lee for some reason never beat Allison Fisher, at least the times I watched, but coming close many times. Of course it's Allison Fisher, who just seemed to always go into clutch mode when needed.
Say man..checking out Alison and Lee for a quick minute. Both looking good, aging well, and all that.. Question? where can I purchase a professional pool table that my lady friends both performed on at some point? Personally, I enjoy the relaxation of a subtle pool game. Use to hit up the pool hall in Kent and downtown Seattle. Now ya boy got plans as a first time home owner. A "pool table" and each assesserie complimentary to it is the perfect in home investment for "home life" entertainment and spending very much "quality time" with, love you too!!! 😜 Fa'show we can do that!! get with management...but yeah like I was thinking🤔 a customized pool table signed by 2 of my favorite playas😜in reality..would be worth the "cash money" I'm willing to pay for it, and have put in like??let's say a vacant room decorated for playing pool, watching ESPN, with a few leather chairs to match both my lady friends, Alison and Lee... sexy leather outfits😜 That way "wen" I invite them over for a weekend of "private pool lessons" I'll most likely pay better attention to the techniques their showing ya boy!!🎉🤩🥰🥳 yeah techniques!! ❤love you.. We out Year 2024
I’m thankful for folks posting videos of things I watched in my youth
I swear I watched this when I was a kid too 👍😄
Met both of these women way back in those days, it was a pleasure to do so.
Wish this had been a race to 11. These two ladies in their prime, my God. Great to watch.
right?! I could watch them for hours!

Some of the best cue ball control I’ve seen. Definitely going to watch more classic footage!

Loved watching early Jeanette Lee get rolling and take virtually no time between shots. Just so cool to see her swagger like that.
Awesome and thank you for posting this, a ton of an influence on players I look up to since my teens are Jeanette Lee and SVB!!!
She was a pure pleasure to watch, so cool and calm. Hope she'll return to playing competitively
A lot of skills , good moving angles what a game ! I love the spinner !
please more jeanette lee video

I remember seeing alison make a century break vs jimmy white, at 13 years old i was immediately smitten!
Playing at this level is beyond my ability. They're probably thinking 5-8 shots out from the one they're currently shooting.
Alison has such a sweet and smooth cue action 😊Comes from her snooker background 😊
Im not sure what shoes have to do with this.
@@HamsterNipples365 Nothing.
@@HamsterNipples365 everything.
My childhood memories serve me correct. Back in the days the game pace was a lot quicker. New isn’t always the better. Pure joy to watch.
Billiards are not on North American TV any longer.
I played Jeanette Lee in city called York , Pa
She asked how good I was after she heard the loud applause for me
I broke no balls were touching ( but no balls dropped )
Lee proceeded to run table we were playing 8 - ball ball in hand (one game only )
Miss these guys.
Please reupload 1996 ESPN World Open Billiards Championships and 1997 ESPN Ultimate 9-Ball Challenge.
I used to watch this just for the chance at a black widow table climb 😁
awesome allison
Fisher is the efren reyes of women's cue sports. Being a snooker champion and 9 ball champ.

shut up
Really great stuff
EXELENTE CANAL Y MUY BUEN PARTIDO
i still would marry her allison
Go miss Fishers and win
Fisher laughs and says, "Duchess of Doom, c'mon..."
Great match...... weird, the pockets on this Brunswick look huge compared to the Diamonds that that the pros play on today
Probably wanted less forgiving pockets to show off true skill.
They had some beef back in the day apparently 😮
They played beter than most men they both played great to bad they didn't go to 11
Smile Allison.
used to cheer for Jeanette Lee but Allison was deadly most of the times
Alison such a woman.

Those pockets on those gold crown 3 s were huge

She has beaten Allison. 😊😊😊😊
@@francinezane4076 Gotta link to the match by any chance? Would love to see that.
Sad that Jeanette has numerous health issues from the ESPN doc.

Year 2024
These pockets are huge by today’s tables in pro billiards
Buckets
Back when womens pool was hot ,great players completely opposite
Go Duchess, give her a bad time...
Fisher, when she had a normal face.
@Tanfo77 Well she was much younger remember.
The Black Widow was the best nine ball breaker to ever pick up a stick as far as i’m concerned
"Oh lawds, is I in heaven"
Lee is over ranked maybe a strong # 10
Yeah, no. She's ranked #2 because she earned number 2. It's not someone's opinion. It's the actual ranking.
