*_I GET KINDA SAD WATCHING THESE TWO LEGENDS. BECAUSE IT BRINGS BACK MEMORIES WHEN POOL WAS MORE MAINSTREAM. REMEMBER WPBA, WE WOULD WATCH THESE WOMEN ON ESPN TV. THEN NEXT DAY AT WORK TALK ABOUT THE MATCHES OR SHOTS. THE SARDO TIGHT RACK! the good ole days, makes ya kinda misty_*
The SARDO Tight Rack!!!!! I haven’t thought about that in yeeears. It is really sad that it has faded into the background on “mainstream” media, but I do think it’s great that there seems to be a gaining in popularity on RUclips. I was 14 years old when this match was played and I wasn’t playing or watching pool yet, so it’s really cool to be able to see these legendary older matches and players in their prime.
Literally fell in love with Pool as a kid thanks Jeannette Lee. My nickname, "Black Recluse" is dedicated to her. I'm 25 now and have grown since then. She's a legend.🖤🕷🕸
Thanks for uploading. Three of the greatest woman pool players of all time. Loree Jon did a great rendition of the National Anthem, also. Hope Jeanette is hanging in there.
you guys are all wrong. cue ball goes from end cushion to side cushion and hits 3 ball coming off the cushion. 3 ball and cue ball both roll down table withoul contacting a rail.
Ewa made a good hit near the end by the left bottom corner. That's the same hit that Earl said Effren hit bad on him. Very hard to see without slow mo.
Yes, I had to play it at .25 speed and watch it one frame at a time, but it was indeed a good hit. It was not a foul. Efren's shot was easier to see than this. Earl was just frustrated.
I learned something new today: if you're trying to play safe and the object ball is blocking the pocket, the rule of thumb is that you're going to double-kiss. Would love to see more of these classic matches. A great piece of nostalgia.
I used to go to Q-Masters once in awhile in the 90's and always saw Barry Behrman there running the business. He would even do the menial things to keep the pool hall going smoothly.
Unbelievable, right? The ball moved 5 inches, neither of the players spotted it (at least I hope Ewa didn't...), the referee didn't spot it, the commentators didn't spot it, and nobody in the crowd said anything. Hard to imagine something like that would happen today. Relieved to see Jeanette win the rack.
I think it was because everyone was looking from a distance and there was no high resolution big screens at that time. The movement was slightly quick.
My boy was landing a lot of kisses on both them girls I guess I don't blame them people were more loving towards each other I guess back in the day you can't give nobody a kiss like that anymore nowadays
When Ewa kicked at the ball after Jeanettes miss. She barely thinned the object ball before the rail or the cue ball would've stayed down table if it hit 2 rails then ball rather than I ball then rail cut thinly
Oh how I miss the 90s. Announcers commenting about how beautiful the women were and how well dressed. Comment about how this is a ‘dog fight’. Kiss on the cheek for the win. Today you would get fired, but in reality it’s just human innocence and love and respect.
*_These were Great Days for Players At Home, Audience. Days when average person can have fun and BUY a Cue Mnfr. that your Favorite Player Played with. Either a Meucci, Mcdermott, Jos, etc. But today with these 1,000 dollar SHAFTS, 500 Dollar Shafts, etc. Its ridiculous. And truth is, its just Promo. Allison Fisher whooped evryone witha $75.00 Cuetec. And that was cool to play with a same cue a Pro has on Tv. Well,, guess thats it._*
It's crazy how they're basically acting as score keeper and referee and the loser racks the balls. And then Jeanette called her for a foul that wasn't a foul, but later on Ewa clipped a ball and it should have been a foul, but it wasn't called. Anyway, it was great to see these old matches with legends of the game. I'm going to be watching a lot more.
Ewa kick shot on 3 ball definitely wasn’t a scratch. Cue ball hit the rail after it contacted 3 ball. Lee probably would have run out regardless though
So strange. Ewa has a beautiful back stroke and usually a closed bridge…except when breaking…open bridge and zero back swing?? I don’t get it. If there’s any time you need a huge back swing it’s on the break.
back in the day. everyone played with movement. it is the newer players, newer era, where they wait for chickens to hatch. newer era, slower, hence need for this whole shot clock thinga. They Also Played SPEED POOL bavk then. You had to shoot Fast. TORNAD POOL. Does anyone remember that? Does uploader have any Speed Pool Matched?
@@PostUp_Time I think players were more aware of playing in rhythm. They don't drag their tempo down overthinking. If they make the shot the way they expected they already know what their plan is for the next shot. They just double check their angle and go
I love being able to watch these older matches in such high quality. Thanks!
quality is surprisingly good. Well preserved, however the format type was found

We used to install when the women or men tournament would come to Dallas Texas , I sure miss the 90s .
Love the old school way the match was played. Loser breaks and no template racks. The way it should be.
you mean winner breaks,
These women are superheroes!
Awesome material, beautiful players, thanks Pat!.

I am the "black hobo"
I'm the Black Shadow
We're all black when the lights go out...
What are these replies man^^^.🤣🤣🤣🤣
It's fun watching the classic matches!
Prayers up for Jeanette. She will win the new battle, just like she won this game almost 30 years ago.
Most of us don't.
Jeanette has changed very little, always beautiful!
Mate, thank you for upload ing these gems
You're very welcome.
@@AccuStats DITO. Thank you for sharing your collection.
That was the first for me to see someone sing the anthem
ME TOO. THATS WHY WE NEED TRUMP TO MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!! TRUMP 2024! GOOD POINT SIR!!
Jeanette Lee missing you long time I am your fan ❤and follower pretty lady 👩✅
Thanks for uploading. Three of the greatest woman pool players of all time. Loree Jon did a great rendition of the National Anthem, also. Hope Jeanette is hanging in there.
1:08:55 That was no foul! The cue ball hit the rail _after_ contacting the 3-ball.
I agree.
I agree no foul. That was a clean hit
Yup. No foul. Clear at 1/4 speed. Where was the ref?
napping

Definitely! Shot is at 1:08:50

it was a foul she hit the rail before she hit the 3,
@@bobconnolly190 nope.. slow it down to .25 speed.. very easy to see it was a good hit then..
Ah yes the lovely Jeanette Lee. Such a beautiful lady she is.
God was the black widow gorgeous in her prime...sadly we all age but she is still amazing
I love the twirls at the end!

Jean balukas next! Thanks for these gems
She came to the pool room I worked at when I was a teenager back in the 1980s & could beat anyone in the city at the time. Truly gifted.
One of the greatest (not just female) pool players ever
I used to go to Q-Masters once in awhile in the 90's and always saw Barry Behrman there running the business. He would even do the menial things to keep the pool hall going smoothly.
Clearly 1:08:50 wasn't a foul but why didn't anyone notice the miscue/nick on the 7 ball at 1:47:03 ?
Who knows?
Unbelievable, right? The ball moved 5 inches, neither of the players spotted it (at least I hope Ewa didn't...), the referee didn't spot it, the commentators didn't spot it, and nobody in the crowd said anything. Yeah, I noticed that also. I was wondering if someone commented already.
I think it was because everyone was looking from a distance and there was no high resolution big screens at that time. The movement was slightly quick.
I came the the comments to see if I was the only one wondering the same thing. Very clear foul.
The black widow was hot!!!
WOW Jeanette Lee wore a shooting glove way back in 1994.
My first time to watch it
1:47:09 clearly a foul... yet emma didn't admit it.. thank God Jeanette won this...
My boy was landing a lot of kisses on both them girls I guess I don't blame them people were more loving towards each other I guess back in the day you can't give nobody a kiss like that anymore nowadays
Ewa has a great backswing.
One of the best. Very smooth. Graceful.
Great match
Perms and bushes. Was anything better than the 1990’s 😊😊😊😊😊😊
Wow..... She's sings too!!!?????
13 games is ridiculous 😅 What a match up 👏👏 Ewa didn't go down without a fight.
There was just nothing like watching Jeanette Lee when she would get rolling and pick up her pace.
Well that's a rare moment . We wont hear that nowadays seldom if any .
I get the vibe the players don't like when the opponent watches them shoot. Some epic stare downs in this vid lol.
1:08:48 Ewa hit the rail after contacting the 3 ball.
Right on Lori Jon Jones 🇺🇸
I had never heard anyone sing the National Anthem at one of these matches. Kind of odd, but she did a great job! 😊
When Ewa kicked at the ball after Jeanettes miss. She barely thinned the object ball before the rail or the cue ball would've stayed down table if it hit 2 rails then ball rather than I ball then rail cut thinly
1:47:09 wasn't that a foul?
Absolutely!!!!

Jeanette is a legend...top shot male or female.

I feel like it’s about time. I look up to the black widow… she’s part of the reason I started playing
Very enjoyable match, even with all the booboos. But, it took me 3 days to watch it! I also enjoyed the commentating and the just-in-time camera work.
What was the score?
13-10
Ewa kick shot on 3 ball definitely wasn’t a scratch. Cue ball hit the rail after it contacted 3 ball. Lee probably would have run out regardless though
Malaya still rocking 80s hair
Were they playing on a tougher table? I've never seen so many missed shots on routine pocketable balls.
There's people in the local hall who could beat both of them that day
What kind of money did they make back then?
Game 19, why did no one catch that foul for Jeanette to have ball in hand??? wtf
The outfits have changed so much; a sleeveless vest? and the felt is now blue.
The hairstyle changed too.
They are missing everything!
was this match in the 60's?
Lol. 94 bro.
Actually that's the age your mama was when she had you..😊😊😊
So strange. Ewa has a beautiful back stroke and usually a closed bridge…except when breaking…open bridge and zero back swing?? I don’t get it. If there’s any time you need a huge back swing it’s on the break.
Whoever is coughing needs to leave and go play the slot machines. Rude to stay and keep doing that.
Thank you Matt.
I’m pretty sure it was one of the commentators.
Jeanette is playing too fast she has to slow down not to make mistakes
back in the day. everyone played with movement. it is the newer players, newer era, where they wait for chickens to hatch. newer era, slower, hence need for this whole shot clock thinga.

Jeanette doesn't have to do anything but play the way she wants. Her accolade sheet is enough to back it up.
Ewa had a good teacher, her husband Jimmy.
Thank god Lori Jon kept her day job….. cause singing is not in her wheel house🎼
the Black Widow best there is was and always will be.
