Mark they call the stuff to fuse the pvc to glass primer…. I believe it’s like pvc glue. Planet came to repair my tank because they had a bad seem…. They ran what looked like pvc primer and then used their industrial silicone after apparently this stuff even allows silicone to stick to silicone
Regarding the lids for your big tank - the company making lids can most likely only fit a max certain sized sheet in their laser. However perhaps they would be willing to do their max sized mesh lids without the frame and you could make the tank sized frames for them? Should not be very difficult for you. 🤔

Get the D and D jump guard for a lid. It’s a DIY cut to size lid but the are pretty good

You need to build an acrylic tank

Clear view did my 6ft.tank a did a great job. Look a the drawings before you okay. 😊
You should def rescape to go away from the peninsula style aquascaping. Would be sweet.
