In The Vampire Diaries and The Originals, they focused a lot on the headaches, the emotions, how loud everything was when in reality it was actually pretty quiet. What I like is how Lizzie bumps into the door after first trying to Vampire-speed. Helps show that it's something they need to learn and take control of. Another thing I love, my favourite, is how she complains about the pain when biting her wrist in order to feed Vampire Blood. It's nice to see someone actually show pain because in The Vampire Diaries and The Originals Vampires (even newbie ones) bit into their wrist like it was just a slice of cake and didn't really show much hurt. Of course, Vampires get more resiliant the more they age and so older Vampire will be less affected by the pain as opposed to newbie Vampires. And I love how goofy Lizzie is with her new Vampirism. It's almost as if Jenny Boyd is just having fun (considering how much she wanted to become a Heretic so badly). Again, I don't intend hate on Legacies. It's just not something I feel connects well with The Vampire Diaries and The Originals in terms of lore. So please don't send hate or anything. I can totally understand what you mean. I personally have loved both the transformations that occured for Lizzie and Hope. I think both were handled with interest and are trying to have fun with the lore without disregarding it. Thx for sharing
I avoided watching the show until the point when Hope activated as full tribid. I don't like what they did overall with the style and how it seems very childish comical a lot of the time. I do like some of the jokes and awkward funny moments like on this video. Every so often I just yell at the screen, "oh, come on!" when a scene is finally something that fits in with the seriousness of TVD and then a monster shows up or overly magic trick looking magic is used. I think part of what made TVD and by extension TO great was that they somehow found this balance between creating this entire supernatural world yet making some aspects quite relatable. But I will agree that Lizzie's reaction to biting herself as a newbie vampire was much more realistic. I mean, TVD made several mentions about how even touch sensations we're heightened so it would make sense for that to hurt. And I immediately laughed at loud at her vamp speed faceplanting right into the door 😂 The sire bond though is being used in a very literal way here, almost as if it were a game of Simon says via compulsion. For example in TVD when Klaus told Tyler to bite Caroline he got angry at the request and refused yet somehow he ended up doing it. And Elena overhead Damon say she needed to feed straight from the vein and so that's the only way she could, but she did try other ways. I'm watching the show but I almost have to compartmentalize and pretend like this isn't what came right after the intensity of TO.
@@XSemperIdem5 Absolutely! You've said it perfectly! For me, I feel the exact same. Especially since they've begun adding in "Gods" to the show. Which, to me, is starting to become awfully ridiculous. We know if there was to be a "God" of some sorts, it'd simply just be Nature as Nature is referred to as the Universe itself in The Vampire Diaries Universe. Whether these beings [Gods] were created by Nature, I don't know. Personally, I just ignore a lot of what happens in Legacies and just recognise The Vampire Diaries and The Originals as being the only two shows part of The Vampire Diaries Universe. It helps to just clam my mind. I totally respect other people's opinions if they sat down and told me they liked Legacies and preferred it. Absolutely! Which is why I intend on spreading no hate at all. It's just that, to me, and in my opinion, they've gone way too far. I would've been happy with Malivore. The idea of a creature being created by Witches, Vampires, and Werewolves is a fascinating concept and helps to give the Tribird something to bounce off of and be in great threat with. However I do not like (nor appreciate) the reason Malivore was created. The whole monsters. I mean, dragons, fire-breathing Witches, Vampire-Dragon Hybrids, mummies, fairies, "ninja turtles", Santa, Krampus. I just feel like this is a show aimed primarily at kids on a kids programme. It doesn't really fit in with the rest of The Vampire Diaries Universe (and lore) and that's what angers me about Julie Plec. She's changing even little things to the point where she's completely overriding everything's she's previously done. What's better is she's simply done that and then abandoned it to work on something else. Like I said, I don't follow Legacies anymore so correct me if I'm wrong, but I hate this whole "limbo" thing they have going on. To my knowledge, there's absolutely zero explanation to how this new "limbo" came into place and it entirely destroys everything about The Vampire Diaries and The Originals with there only being the Other Side, Ancestral Well, and "Peace" (excluding other things such as Freya's Pendant). Most of which was created by Witches themselves so it gives it a reason and explanation. Unlike Legacies. But please do correct me if I'm wrong and please do explain the whole "Legacies limbo" to me if there's a reason and creation behind it. Again, I don't hate on anyone who likes Legacies and enjoy the "monsters". Just for me, as a die-hard The Vampire Diaries and The Originals fan, Legacies has taken and completely new turn. I thoroughly enjoyed how not only did The Vampire Diaries and The Originals introduce the Supernatural world, but it did so in such a "realistic" manner that you would actually believe it to be real. In Legacies, that's just not how it feels. A "Supernatural Make-Believe World" as opposed to The Vampire Diaries and The Originals of which made established supernatural lore and just gave it a piece of realism. Every aspect was looked at in such a creative yet naturalistic way and that's what I enjoyed. Especially the dark moments. I love the dark moments and aspects. Thank you for replying, and if anybody does feel offended by what is said -- please take my apologies and know this isn't aimed to be rude to fans of Legacies. It's simply a matter of opinion being shared with someone who has similar or same viewpoints. Thanks.

Rember how Caroline thaught of herself that she was miserable before becoming a vamp and all of a sudden changed into an iconic charac after it... I guess it will be the same case in Liz too!
Lizzie’s transition is so different from Caroline’s. Caroline was in pain when her fangs came in but Lizzie isn’t. Also Caroline was still able to hurt Damon despite being turned by his blood
Because Caroline wasn’t sired but Lizzie is sired to hope so she can’t hurt her sire there purpose is to protect there sire but Caroline wasn’t sired to Damon there hope that answered your question.
@@lidia8422 I actually like her character and have since the show began (I only more recently binge watched it to catch up). Some of the other characters just can't grow on me but hers I like.
She adapted very quickly to the transformation and powers. Also, she now became one of the most powerful supernatural creatures on earth: An immortal being with a bottomless reservoir of power to siphon from and coupled with spell casting and magical knowledge. Evil doers beware. At least now the merge no longer needs to happen.
Heretics can’t siphon endless magic. The best example would be Valerie’s spirit transference spell. She said that spell requires the power of two regular witches and since Valerie is almost 200 years old, she is more powerful than newer heretics like Lizzie which is why she was able to perform that spell solo, but didn’t have much magic left because Valerie also used her head dive vampire powers at the same time as the spell and that caused strain on Valerie. Heretics are just regular vampires. Sebastian from legacies is 500 years old and Lizzie desiccated him in 5 seconds, so I assume that means if a heretic siphons too much from themselves then they will desiccate and recover later which was what happened to Damon, Sebastian, and other vampires desiccated by siphoning Lizzie had to train to barely hold a portion of an immortals magic. Also Mary and Nora siphoned the phoenix stone to power their destruction spell to destroy the stone, their eyes began to bleed as the stone had countless spirits trapped inside. If the destruction spell had called for more power, they likely would had died. In the originals, witches can only hold so much magic before they start to die as when Finn was being empowered by his siblings and he started to die from channeling too much magic. Heretics aren’t immortal in terms of vampires meaning originals can’t die, regular vampires like heretics can die from too much harm. Freya’s magic got the thousand year old vampire Tristan so close to death that she would have killed him if she pushed further meaning too much magic can definitely kill heretics
Lizzie is now sired to hope. So I’m curious what could this lead too since hope is not just any vampire but a tribrid. Will Lizzies heretic capabilities be more heightened because of this?
I still wish we got more heretic scenes, I am so happy Lizzie is a heretic now but I still miss Mary-Louise, Nora, and and Valerie. I know Valerie never died and actually left with Stefan and then never canonically died but it’s still a little sad we never got to see her again.
if lizzie is sired to hope that would mean that she had real legitimate feeling for hope idk what kind but i can say with certainty this is going to be one crazy new half of legacies
In the originals they discovered that turning on hope's blood resulted in a sire bond that makes that person protect and unable to harm hope, this isn't proof that lizzie had feelings for hope since it's in canon that this would have happened to anyone hope's blood turned.
The part with the human feelings is only the case with vampires. When Tyler used Hayleys (Hopes) blood to turn Dwayne he was sired and wanted to protect Hayley immediately even tho he didnt even know her before. That means that everyone Hope turns gets sired to her
That is my question too. Because a werewolf turned hybrid is always sirebonded to the one who turned them. But a vampire, according to TVD, is only sired, if they had feelings for the one, whose blood turned them. So did Lizzie have feelings for Hope before turning? Or is this a tribid thing that anyone turning with her blood becomes sired to her?
@@brooke8642 Lizzie is technically a hybrid just witch instead of wolf so i think it's possible that is part of that. I was thinking like you as well because she's not a wolf but someone reminded me that Lizzie no longer has to merge so she is grateful just like the hybrids were grateful they didn't have to turn. I also remembered that back when Heretics were first explained by Jo she said they were "a vampire witch hybrid" that the Gemini coven called Heretics.

Again, I don't intend hate on Legacies. It's just not something I feel connects well with The Vampire Diaries and The Originals in terms of lore. So please don't send hate or anything. I'm simply just wanting to share some positivity over the new way they're expressing Vampirism without watching the show as a whole.
And I immediately laughed at loud at her vamp speed faceplanting right into the door 😂
The sire bond though is being used in a very literal way here, almost as if it were a game of Simon says via compulsion.
@@christopherjohnson4896 Thank you for replying. :)
Thanks.
I love how much fun Jenny is having playing Lizzie now. It's great when actors actually enjoy playing their roles cuz then they'll put In that much more effort and it shows. We know that Jenny was asking producers since day 1 of joining the show to make Lizzie a Heretic and i love that she finally got her wish! Danielle and Jenny are literally carrying the show right now and having a hell of a time.
Bro omg Lizzie is a fast learner like her mom I swear 😩✌🏻 remember when Caroline was in transition and she used all her vamp abilities right on the bat and Lizzie basically did the same thing 😩 *Like mother like daughter*
Caroline isn’t her mom josette is her mom.
@@lucidnarcs yes Josette is her mom but Caroline raised her kid for her gave birth to her Caroline is their mother it might not be by blood but she is their mother Josette is only there blood mother it’s sad that she didn’t get a chance to raise her children but at least she got to see them on their birthday Before she died again
@@kureyadehaney6698 josette wanted to be a mom and was a good one in tat one episode so shes also just as much of their mom than caroline thats what lizzie was despising against but then she learned she was wrong.
Ok
Lizzie being all "look, Hope! Fangs!" ready just did me in! I really like that we're getting a different side of becoming a vampire. Also, REALLY hope this goes better than her previous sires.
I just know Jenny was having the time of her life filming this.
Rember how Caroline thaught of herself that she was miserable before becoming a vamp and all of a sudden changed into an iconic charac after it... I guess it will be the same case in Liz too!
Credit where it's due, Liziie's been an icon since her debut.
I was thinking to post this or hope and Lizzie being a vampire duo
Lizzie’s transition is so different from Caroline’s. Caroline was in pain when her fangs came in but Lizzie isn’t. Also Caroline was still able to hurt Damon despite being turned by his blood
because she wasn’t sired. Vampires dont get sired that easy
Because Caroline wasn’t sired but Lizzie is sired to hope so she can’t hurt her sire there purpose is to protect there sire but Caroline wasn’t sired to Damon there hope that answered your question.
@@abriannasellers7166 in the originals, any hybrids turned by Hope would be sired to her. Idk if that applies to Lizzie since she is a heretic
You cant compare a normal vampire's sire turn to an original's sire turn.
Caroline was turned by Katherine
Much like Caroline prefer now more as a vampire
shes always been hilarious lmao
@@lidia8422 I actually like her character and have since the show began (I only more recently binge watched it to catch up). Some of the other characters just can't grow on me but hers I like.
Me not secretly hoping that hope's humanity is not off but she's grieving, to be a plot twist:)
she not turn it of.. just flipped. cause her vampire just 1/3 (tribrid)
Lizzie was so hungry she forgot she almost killed vardemus.
Lmao. It’s a good thing he wasn’t bleeding out completely, else he would be really ded
I just love Jen. “No, crap dude you killed him.”
Sebastian from legacies is 500 years old and Lizzie desiccated him in 5 seconds, so I assume that means if a heretic siphons too much from themselves then they will desiccate and recover later which was what happened to Damon, Sebastian, and other vampires desiccated by siphoning
Lizzie had to train to barely hold a portion of an immortals magic.
I was really starting to think she was sired to Caroline and part of me was hoping
Nope, her abilities are not going to be special cuz she took hopes blood and she’s sired, she’ll just be a heretic that’s sired
I thought they got rid of sire lines?
@@stephwiller9089 They got rid of sirelines for Klaus and Elijah. The spell needs to be done on a specific original, it doesn't work on all.
I've been wondering, if Hope is technically an Original, that mosy likely means that if she somehow dies, Lizzie will die too.
Lizzie is the most relatable newbie vampire ever! I mean, I could see myself running against a wall if I had those powers for the first time!
Love her vampire face
lizzie is freaking hilarious i love her! and the actress played her perfect
She JUST became a heretic and she’s already Iconic.
Love her more now she will be so powerful
she is such an icon i can’t even
I'm in love with vampire lizzie and I'm kinda sure she will never turn off her humanity
"son of a bitch...What is wrong with me !?"
That was so iconic 😭😭
Lizzie will get hang of it but when she bumped her head into the door, I couldn't stop laughing 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
This feels like a much more realistic reaction to turning. 😂
Heretic Lizzie and no humanity tribrid hope is so funny and brilliant
newbie but a natural she obviously takes after her mother
I still wish we got more heretic scenes, I am so happy Lizzie is a heretic now but I still miss Mary-Louise, Nora, and and Valerie. I know Valerie never died and actually left with Stefan and then never canonically died but it’s still a little sad we never got to see her again.
That’s what i thought too they should dive deeper into the history and power
Elizabeth Jenna saltzman is the first vampire(heretic) to not make things dramatic or emotional after a being born as a vampire
Everyone else's circumstances were dramatically different from hers, of course she isn't that emotional, it was her plan all along after all.
The background music killed me😂 i love this
What's the name of the background music and by who
@@jessiemcdonald421 i don't know the name, sorry
if lizzie is sired to hope that would mean that she had real legitimate feeling for hope idk what kind but i can say with certainty this is going to be one crazy new half of legacies
@@brooke8642 it's a Hope is an Original thing
@@brooke8642 Lizzie is technically a hybrid just witch instead of wolf so i think it's possible that is part of that. I was thinking like you as well because she's not a wolf but someone reminded me that Lizzie no longer has to merge so she is grateful just like the hybrids were grateful they didn't have to turn. I also remembered that back when Heretics were first explained by Jo she said they were "a vampire witch hybrid" that the Gemini coven called Heretics.
This is superb comboooooo
Dude this is the funniest vampire transition I ever seen. LMAOO
I believe even without the sire bond...Lizzie still wouldn't have killed Hope.
Yes she would..she nearly drived that stake through her heart otherwise how did she find out she cant kill her
@@dimitristsetsos6062 the point is that lizzie couldn't go through with killing hope even before she turned. Her attempts in this episode were only because vampirism made her more angry
@@TheMarkmcr yes i agree..but because of the vampirism she would have killed her though
@@dimitristsetsos6062 She literally hesitates every time she tries to kill Hope. If she really wanted Hope dead she would've done it already. She had multiple times to complete the task, she wants Hope back more than she wants Hope dead, but if she have to kill Hope to ensure her safety I believe she would, but she wouldn't take joy in doing it.
LIZZIE AS A HERETIC!!! my life is complete 😩
Through Lizzie TVDU is showing how it really feels to become a new vamp.
It's funny when you think about how similar Lizzie and Caroline are except with this. When Caroline first became a vampire she was a pro without trying and she didn't even know what to do. (The hospital scene) Poor Lizzie knows exactly what to expect but still fumbled through her new found powers in perfect Lizzie fashion our adorable undercover nerd.
shouldnt we talk about how the writers just got rid of the whole bloodlust thing?i mean she just turned and she didnt lose control for even a second..and dont tell me she cut his throat cause thats nothing compared to tvd newbie vamps..we havent even seen hope struggling with the bloodlust
I think it was because Lizzie knew what she was becoming like hope so they knew what was happening to them unlike Caroline and the others.
@@Mcherri but bloodlust has nothing to do with knowledge..it's supposed to take over.
Turn you into something youre not.. completely losing control of yourself..elena knew about vamps but she struggled for 10+ episodes..stefan who's been a vamp for 150 years was still struggling and couldnt stop feeding thats why they called him ripper
@@dimitristsetsos6062 yes but Elena never grew up around vampires and knew from the beginning what vampires are and capable of so it gives better understanding especially for the twins and hope. I think Lizzie’s change showed not the bloodlust being a problem for her considering as she said her emotions were already heightened as a human because of her mental problems, but after her change getting use to the speed and fangs which is hilarious.
@@Mcherri haha it was way to funny to be honest 🤣the headbutt on that door was OP.
elena had problems but not to bad damon was telling her she should not eat certain stuff because she was sired to him so i think that’s why she was struggling most of the time, and hope was on a mission after her humanity shut off so ion think she was really worried about blood and she got more self control cause she’s not just one thing she’s three things, the only people that really struggle to me frfr was stephen & mj.
I never even thought once about how clumsy I would be as a vampire until Lizzie. She is queen 😂
😂 love this! Lizzie was cracking me up in this episode!
The bibrid to your tribrid
Why not just hybrid? Or it just applies to vampire-werewolves?

Lizzie is handling being a vampire than her mom did when she completed her transition.
I am loving heretic Lizzie... We definitely need to see more of her using her vamp powers.. If they turn back time and she goes back to "normal" Lizzie I'm going g to be very pissed...
I have a feeling Danielle and Jenny had some imput on the sire bond being used as Simone says. I mean Hope could basicly tell lizzie to repeatedly punch herself in the face for 24 hours and lizzie would have no choice but to do it. 😂
1:09 , i gotta agree, l literally feel the same thing when other vampires do it
The “no crap dude” literally got me swept 😂😂😂
Glad to see wesly is looking good this day and age since Buffy

to be honest I only watch legacies because of lizzie/no-humanity-hope dynamic, it's so fucking hilarious and the only watchable thing on the show now xD
Always nice to see a Buffy character playing another part in a different show🙂
Wesley's in Legacies now... guess dying wasn't enough to keep him out of the fight for long...
Jen comments and the music fit perfectly, like she’s us commenting on Lizzie🤣🤣🤣
Maybe she'll turn her humanity off
Lizzie is such a gen z vampire 😭
I love that the first person she tried to compel literally turned out to be a god. 😂
I have a feeling that ,if writers give them screentime, Jen and Lizzie are going to be a very comedic duo.🤣
Lizzie being sired is hilarious
No.
Ok, for a moment I thought wthat would happened if she would have transition with that god's blood
This is a whole new chaos and I’m here for it :)
I hate that josies gone
I think Sebastian would be proud 😊
come to think of it… when hope was donating her blood to the first aid kits she wasn‘t a vampire yet which would technically make lizzie an unsired heretic (just like hayley was an unsired hybrid) cause the moment hope became a vampire she left the school so she didn‘t have time to donate her blood
Omg you’re so right😳
It’s big Simon Lewis energy
So that girl who says Dude is a God? Can't wait to find out more

To be sired you have to have emotional connection to them as in case with Lizzie and Elena
'Im saving you for desert'
'WhAT EVeR yoU Say DuDE'

I'm literally one season behind.... How much crazier can this show get
Lol she definitely got her personality from Kai, without the evilness of course.
Lizzy is absolutely hilarious.
She broke her sire bond by herself and then staps hope
Seeing Lizzie really showed how Hope was so good at being a vampire/tribrid.
